The Evolution Of A Goblin To The Peak

Chapter 1252: Entering the Blood Realm

It seemed that the Depth of Banquet was near the God’s Continent. Although the God’s Continent was the closest continent to this place, it was still extremely far. Merchants and travelers would take at least a month to arrive there.

After finishing their meal, Souta and Fadu returned to the Rulman Household. Fadu began his training while Souta stood to the side, guarding him from any potential harm.

If Fadu kept up his training, he would surely reach at least the First Shackle in the future. After all, the Rulman Household had tons of resources. Freida and Wresho wouldn’t let their son train without the aid of pills and potions.

”But that’s far in the future...” Souta muttered as he watched Fadu train.

Just like that, days passed.

Fadu continued to train diligently every single day. He spent at least eight hours training his body and skills. Souta would give him pointers whenever he felt like it.

The Rulman Household kept pouring out money over the past few days. Their formations were fully repaired, and they paid a huge amount for them. Their houses were rebuilt, and the runes were functioning once again.

The household could now withstand a battle of the same scale. Without all of this, such a battle would have flattened the entire area. After all, the Rulman Household had a number of Hero-rank experts.

This was the accumulation of a long-standing household.

”Although it’s not comparable to Athen’s Champion, the Rulman Household is quite rich,” Souta commented.

”Atos!!”

Souta turned his head and saw Fadu calling him.

”What should I do now?” Fadu asked.

Souta stood up and said, ”I wonder. I’m your bodyguard, not your teacher.”

With those words, he swiftly moved his hand, and a sharp web shot out from his finger.

Swoosh!!

”Wah!” Fadu reacted as he raised his sword, but the force behind the web blasted him several meters away.

”Come. Try to land a hit on me,” Souta grinned.

Fadu coughed as he slowly got up. He tightened his grip on his sword before dashing forward.

...

Meanwhile, in the Land of Fire Light,

Souta was still floating above the Everlasting Kingdom like a silent protector.

He smiled and muttered, ”My clone’s work is proceeding quite well. The preparations there are nearly complete.”

He descended into the kingdom and quickly met with the king. He asked Tasman if they were ready, and Tasman replied that all preparations had been completed.

Tasman led Souta to a huge open space where all the elites of the kingdom were gathered.

Souta looked at the elites before him.

There were over a hundred of them, and their strength was impressive since all of them were SSS-rank experts. If it were before, the number of SSS-rank experts in the Everlasting Kingdom would have been higher, but after the calamity, these were all that remained.

Souta spotted Angus and Emiline. It seemed they were prepared to join the fun.

Over a hundred experts at the Fourth Shackle Realm and above stood in their positions without uttering a single word. They knew King Tasman, but they barely recognized the figure beside him.

That figure was a monster, a fifth-stage monster.

The strongest entity in the entire Land of Fire Light, the monster who quelled the calamity that had almost led them to extinction.

They knew about Souta, but this was their first time seeing him this close.

Souta opened his mouth and said, ”I’ll tell you where you’re going now. Tasman has prepared all of you for this moment, a moment to fight for your opportunity. I will bring all of you to the land I built in the dream realm.”

The elites were shocked, and some were confused, as they had never heard of the term dream realm before.

Souta continued, ”It’s not a simple dive into a dream. You won’t be entering a dreamscape, but the dream realm. It’s more dangerous to bring only your consciousness, so I will drag your bodies into that mysterious realm. Heh, you’ll understand what I mean soon.”

Souta didn’t provide any more explanation.

Tasman said, ”Good luck to all of us.”

In the next moment, everyone’s expression changed as Souta raised his hand and a terrifying force erupted from his body. He seemingly grabbed the air and ripped it apart.

Bang!!

White and dark smoke gushed out. No one knew what to do as the smoke swallowed them one by one at a terrifying speed. Their vision blurred as countless lights and streaks filled their sight.

It felt as if everything was being jumbled together.

Patterns formed before their eyes as colors shifted wildly. They felt like they were being rolled hundreds of thousands of times.

They were being forcefully dragged into the dream realm.

Ohm!

...

Up above the Blood Realm, Souta stood beneath the moon, looking down at everything.

He had dragged Tasman and the elites of the Everlasting Kingdom here to fight for their place in the Blood Realm.

Right now, the Blood Realm had stopped expanding. It stretched far and wide, much larger than the combined area of the previous lands. The cores of both lands had fused into something more powerful, capable of sustaining this newly formed realm.

With his [Douion IV], Souta could support his realm, and it would only improve as he grew stronger.

He planned to open the dreamscape of the living beings under his wings to this realm, but currently, he didn’t have that power.

”They will grow stronger,” Souta muttered before turning his head to look in another direction.

His plan regarding the Depth of Banquet was progressing well.

His clones moved according to his will, preparing everything for him.

What he needed to do now was continue improving his strength.

Souta’s power had grown tremendously as he reached the fifth evolution stage. His [Douion IV] was enough to sustain everything for now, so he would shift his focus to other aspects. He planned to improve his Archetype. At the very least, he wanted to master its other forms, which would help him in battles against stronger entities.

[Archetype: Great Blood of the End]

He had already mastered the first two forms. The third form was a defensive stance, which he called [Third Form: Blood Lightning Barrier]. Once mastered, the lightning would act as his armor, blocking anything he deemed harmful. It could withstand a full-power attack from an Eight Shackle Realm expert. If he concentrated the barrier at a single point, it could even block an attack from a Ninth Shackle Realm expert.

Well, Souta was close to mastering it.

Before moving on to train other aspects, he wanted to at least master up to the fifth form of his Archetype.

Souta wanted to fight higher-level beings without relying on the Cosmic Sign. For now, the Cosmic Sign was too much for a mortal like him, as it could damage his foundation. He would only use it if he faced a God-rank entity.

Boom!!

Souta snapped out of his thoughts and looked down at the Blood Realm. The battle had begun.

He could see on the ground that King Tasman had made a move against one of the former Rulers of the Land of Reem.

”Tasman will win. Unless a fifth-stage monster makes a move, there’s no one who can stop him.”

Tasman was an Eight Shackle Realm expert, so a group of fourth-stage monsters were like ants before him.

There was only one fifth-stage monster in the entire Blood Realm, no, the second one would appear soon.

Souta’s eyes pierced through the dreamscape where Yuko was training. He could see that she was preparing herself to reach a higher stage.

”Once she evolves, I will conquer the Depth of Banquet. I should start sending my forces there and begin planning for the other lands,” Souta muttered with a faint smile on his face.

In the next second, he tightened his fists, and the parasite in his body trembled.

Ohm!

An invincible wave spread out at high speed.

...

Somewhere in the Dream Realm,

A nine-headed hydra was flying through space. Its massive body was covered in dark, glossy scales that were harder than metal. Its limbs were filled with power, and the eyes on its nine heads glowed with a dangerous glint.

The aura surrounding it was enough to terrify fourth-stage monsters. Even initial fifth-stage monsters could feel the tremendous power flowing through its body.

It was Kessa, the Lernaean Hydra.

Standing atop one of her heads was an old man with his arms behind his back.

His expression was calm, but his eyes couldn’t hide the intense battle intent within. He had gray hair, a pair of antennae on top of his head, and his clothes moved as if they were alive.

He was Frankling Estuper.
