Heroine Creation: All My Summons Are Custom Made

⸢ Role Assignment ⸥

⸢ Heroine | Villainess | Noble | Civilian | NPC ⸥

Lancet selected ⸢ Heroine ⸥ and moved to the next option, ⸢ Heroine Details ⸥.

Well, here he was. In this section, the main price of Thor Stormchild would be decided. Then, depending on how well he did in the last section, the Narrative Coupon would cut the price.

But just because he wanted her to be cheaper didn’t mean Lancet was going to be conservative when assigning her her power.

No, no, no.

She’s from the Era of Ash! And she’s supposed to be an equal in strength with Astensia. Speaking of Astensia, Lancet couldn’t wait to see the conversations they’ll both have, as if they’ve always known each other.

Gosh, this power was so damn fun.

’I finally understand how it truly feels to play ’God’,’ he thought with a smile.

⸢ Heroine Details ⸥

⸢ Class: Lightning Mage ⸥

⸢ Advanced Class: — ⸥

Being a Lightning Mage, it meant Thor was under the Elementalist Class Group — although at her time, the Awakener Supreme Institute and Class Groups didn’t really exist.

Either way, Lancet could imagine Phiodor Blaze, Instructor for Elementalist-D, being enraged at the idea of Thor being Lancet’s summon. Till now, Lancet was still ignoring invitations from Professor Dexter Marcist, Specialist-D’s Instructor.

The excited weeb teacher wouldn’t stop questioning Lancet about meeting Astensia.

In Phiodor’s case, his jealousy might blow off the roof.

But there was one factor that distinguished Awakeners who shared the same Class Group or even similar Classes.

An Advancement.

Not all had it. Those who did were usually in the higher ranks from Radiant to Solar. It was a personal talent that manifested in one’s Class, like in Astensia’s case as the Ironwill Knight.

Her Class was Knight, and her Advancement was her iron will, making it possible to do anything within the reaches of her Class itself.

For Thor, Lancet had chosen: ⸢ Advanced Class: Tempest Lightning Mage ⸥

⸢ Description: Thor’s power grows exponentially with every strike she takes in battle. This is the pillar of her unique trait; ’Cataclysmic Absorption.’ With it, every physical blow or magical attack she endures is instantly converted into raw, apocalyptic lightning within her core. The more she bleeds, the more catastrophic her retaliation becomes. She’s a battery of brutality. ⸥

’A battery of brutality,’ Lancet repeated in his thoughts. ’Gosh, when did I get so poetic?’

Again, like with Astensia, a red light reflected in his blue eyes.

The system rang the warning notification, letting him know that the Heroine was worth more than the CP he had available.

Lancet grinned, then crossed his fingers. ’Hopefully the Coupon does its thing.’

The system began to ding softly. ⸢ Calculating CP Cost... ⸥

⸢ ... ⸥

⸢ Heroine, Thor Stormchild, costs 3990 CP ⸥

Lancet’s eyes widened, then he tilted his head. ’Just one hundred CP less than Astensia. Two overpowered Heroines to start. Such great fortune!’

His eyes moved to the Narrative Coupon. ’Alright. Come on, Coupie, my best bud! You came clutch for me with Astensia. Don’t let me down now.’

⸢ Analyzing Narrative Depth... ⸥

⸢ Complexity: S-Tier. ⸥

⸢ Character Backstory: S-Tier. ⸥

⸢ Personality: A-Tier. ⸥

⸢ Motive: S-Tier. ⸥

⸢ Lore Attunement: S-Tier. ⸥

Lancet leaned in. ’Those are higher scores than Astensia!’

⸢ ... Applying Narrative Discount. ⸥

With eyes wide, he watched the 3990 CP price, sprint backwards until it rested at the price of 1400 CP.

”Fuck yes!” Lancet pumped his fist, only to realize that he had said that out loud.

Kasto and Anita stared at him. ”Gee, Lancet. I didn’t know you were such a fan of Vera.”

Lancet looked down at the center of the hall where Vera had taken down the Mud Golem of her former partner, Patton.

He shrugged pretentiously. ”I just thought it was a cool move executed by her Forest Stag.”

Kasto and Anita shared a ’huh’ gaze and returned their focus to the center where Professor Chance had called on two new students to duel.

Lancet looked away from the center and to his floating, waiting screen. He was grinning ear to ear as he gazed at the new CP cost, admiring it like a girlfriend.

’What a beautiful set of numbers. Who knew 1400 had such an appealing design.’

The great news was that with the Coupon, he could create another Platinum Heroine if he impressed the system again. But did the Year-4 Student Heroine he wanted to make have to be Platinum?

’Ehh... I’ll think of that later,’ he decided. ’For now, let’s finish up with Thor.’

The final box was ⸢ Minor Details ⸥.

There, Lancet added:

⸢ Thor is a foodie. Her favorite meal is roasted duck and honey stew. She also likes jokes, surprisingly. She’s extremely ruthless in battle and will likely go for killing blows rather than minor or major damage. ⸥

After all that was done, he reviewed the final character sheet with a smile on his face.

⸢ HEROINE SHEET FINALIZATION ⸥

⸢ Name: Thor Stormchild ⸥

⸢ Rank: Platinum ⸥

⸢ Class: Tempest Lightning Mage ⸥

⸢ Weapon: The Hammer of Force (Warhammer) ⸥

⸢ Motive: Motive: She seeks the absolute eradication of all evil, requiring a fearless master who shares her unyielding zeal. Driven by the agonizing guilt of Devilfall, she also wishes to finally fulfill her former commander’s last, uncompleted command. ⸥

⸢ Personality: Fiercely proud and unapologetically militant; she despises cowardice and weakness, driven by a relentless hunger to slaughter demons for a worthy master. ⸥

⸢ Event: The strongest of the Five Valkyries sworn to Servont, she died fighting the Demon Head in Devilfall after his sacrifice, carrying the agonizing guilt of failing his final command. ⸥

⸢ Total Cost: 1,400 CP ⸥

⸢ Create? [YES] / [NO] / [LATER] ⸥

⸢ Creation costs no Grace but Summoning requires Grace cost of 100 MP ⸥

Lancet saw no reason to hesitate. He had the CP and had more Grace than ever since transmigrating into this world.

So he briskly selected [YES]

⸢ Heroine is being created. Please wait. ⸥

Lancet watched with anticipation as the system sang in his head.

⸢ ... ⸥

⸢ Heroine is being woven into world’s lore ⸥

⸢ ... ⸥

⸢ Heroine is being woven into people’s memory ⸥

⸢ ... ⸥

⸢ Heroine is being added into records, books, memoirs, etc ⸥

⸢ ... ⸥

Ding!

⸢ Heroine created successfully. Thor Stormchild is now waiting in the Summon Space ⸥

Lancet smiled jovially. ’Wicked.’

”Lancet Leogardt!”

The shout snapped Lancet back to reality, the light of his interface vanished. He blinked, realizing the sudden silence in the room was because everyone was staring directly at him.

In the center of the hall, Professor Chance stood between Min Tu Akaran and Dane Beardclaw. The two students had already taken their positions on the floor, their Grace beginning to stir as they prepared to manifest their Summons.

”It seems you are elsewhere while such an important event is taking place, Mr. Leogardt,” Chance said dryly. ”Are you bored?”

Lancet straightened his posture, feeling dozens of eyes on him. He quickly tucked his note away, centering himself as the Professor’s gaze sharpened.

”No, Professor. I apologize.”

Chance took a deep, uncaring breath. ”Well, be prepared,” he said, a challenge in his tone, and a small smile on his face.

”Because once this duel concludes... you’re going next.”
