All Worlds Beg the Villainess to Act Like a Human

Chapter 357: Chapter 357: The Abused Heroine Awakens (33)

Ashui looked at Qiann Yan, feeling that the Princess Consort had a particular scheme in mind when she said this.

”In light of your good cooking skills, I’ll show you a clear path.”

Ashui’s eyes lit up, eager for Qiann Yan’s next words.

”You should tell this matter to Jing Yunzhou; he will be very pleased.” Qiann Yan looked serious, ”When the time comes, he will come to see me, and I will act righteously.”

Ashui: ”...”

Jing Lingyu was rather unlucky.

If he had known so many things would happen, perhaps he wouldn’t have chosen to provoke the Princess Consort?

The rumors might be true; does the Princess Consort still have Jing Yunzhou in her heart? If not, why hand over such an important matter to Jing Yunzhou?

Ashui’s expression wasn’t good, and for some reason, felt a bit bothered in her heart.

An overwhelming jealousy surged in Ashui’s heart. Compared to the unfortunate Jing Lingyu, Jing Yunzhou was so much luckier to have such a resourceful woman planning for him. Had the other saved all beings in a previous life?

”What’s the matter?”

Ashui: ”The Princess Consort’s proposal is good, but words alone are not proof; Jing Yunzhou might not believe it.”

”Why not gather some evidence from Jing Lingyu’s hands? Over the years, he must have collected quite a lot, taking a bit without him noticing shouldn’t be hard.”

Ashui didn’t know what to say, feeling it wasn’t that easy. If it were truly easy, the Lin Family would have long since risen.

”In a few days, Jing Lingyu will fall ill, I’ll go see him, and you come with me.”

Ashui was quite confused, but Qiann Yan said no more and had to tidy up the dishes and leave.

The next day, Qiann Yan went to the kitchen, where all the cooks watched her nervously, afraid she was there to nitpick. Watching her examine here and there, and even taste the food in the pot.

They didn’t dare to stop her, only quietly stood aside to observe.

Soon, Qiann Yan found the boiling medicine.

As she opened the lid, the head chef said, ”Princess Consort, that’s not food, it’s the Prince’s medicine.”

”Oh.” Qiann Yan put the lid back down, but no one noticed she had already sprinkled the prepared powder inside.

Just like Jing Lingyu’s medicine, once dissolved in water, it became colorless and tasteless.

The effect of her medicine would take place in three days, by which time even the residue would be untraceable.

After wandering around the kitchen, she finally left.

”I just came to see if you’ve come up with any new dishes.”

The head chef smiled broadly: ”If we have, we will surely teach Miss Ashui.”

”Smart move.”

Qiann Yan departed, leaving the stressed chefs to wipe away their sweat.

That day, without suspicion, Jing Lingyu drank the medicine.

Three days later, Jing Lingyu felt both itchy and sore all over his body, unable to resist scratching hard. He found that scratching more relieved the itchiness, unaware even when his skin was scratched raw.

It was a subordinate reporting news who, upon seeing Jing Lingyu’s condition, exclaimed in surprise, ”Master, what’s happened to you?”

Jing Lingyu looked at himself in the mirror; his face was scratched all over, surprisingly unaware before, feeling a bit of panic, he hurriedly sought out a doctor.

Doctor Lee came over to examine him and found that Jing Lingyu’s skin had hardly any intact area, with him still uncontrollably scratching.

”Doctor Lee, what’s the matter?”,

”Has someone poisoned me?”

It’s no surprise Jing Lingyu thought so; just a few days ago, he’d given Ashui a package of medicine. Could Ashui have betrayed him?

Doctor Lee, after checking, shook his head: ”Prince, I haven’t found any signs of poisoning in you, it might be a strange skin disease.”

”Prince, when did you start feeling unwell?”
