Legend of Swordsman

Chapter 6249: You Strike First, You Finish

“Alright, but we still need to wait a little longer!” He looked at Hu San. Currently, Hu San was very anxious, but he was still missing one thing.

That was anger.

Hu San needed to get angry; only then would he be able to unleash his full potential.

Moreover, there were still four soldiers guarding the warship.

The few inside the cabin were all drunk.

They posed little threat.

But these four were different.

Their murderous aura was even stronger.

They were men who had seen blood.

Not easy to deal with.

Moreover, the four of them had been staying in the cabin, and it seemed like they were guarding something when meals were delivered.

If his guess was correct.

The items these men were guarding were likely the property of a certain noble in Yongcheng.

They couldn’t escape empty-handed!

These items would be useful to them as well.

Even if they didn’t attack them, once they made a move against Master Liu and Yang Madman, Young Master Liu wouldn’t just stand by.

Since they had to face them sooner or later, they might as well ambush and kill these four first.

After making up his mind, Jian Wushuang asked Xiang Yang to keep an eye on the people in the bamboo building.

He and Hu San then headed to the warship.

Although Hu San looked like a bear with his massive, powerful build, when it came to actually killing people.

He was as timid as a maiden, hesitant and shaky.

The stick in his hand was trembling.

Jian Wushuang patted his back and comforted him, “Stay behind me. I’ll make the first move, and you just follow up with a strike. Make it as quick as possible!”

“Got it!!” Hu San nodded heavily.

He was completely on this thieving ship now. Yesterday he didn’t dare to kill Yang Madman, but today he dared to kill government soldiers.

That’s the effect of anger.

Jian Wushuang walked in front, holding a long knife behind his back.

“Soldiers, enjoying your meal?”

Jian Wushuang quietly entered the cabin, causing the soldiers who were sitting inside to become vigilant and shout, “Who let you in here? Get out immediately!”

“Young Master Liu sent me. He said he wanted to reward you!”

This sentence made the four of them visibly relax.

They let go of their grips on their swords.

But Jian Wushuang’s knife was already in action.

The knife!

Known for its ruthlessness.

Unlike the sword.

But Jian Wushuang was equally fast with a knife.

He suddenly struck, slashing the throat of one soldier, blood spurting out instantly.

But Jian Wushuang’s knife did not stop, it went straight for the next one.

Giving them no chance to draw their swords.

Several slashes, instantly killing two, and the remaining two were severely injured and fell, also taken down by the stick-wielding Hu San who followed.

Whether they were dead or alive was unknown.

Jian Wushuang wiped the blood off his face and said calmly, “Let’s go, time to find the main target!”

As the two of them exited the cabin, from a distance they saw someone being thrown out of the bamboo building.

It was Xiang Yang.

Jian Wushuang’s lips curved into a smile; this was part of his plan too.

Jian Wushuang planned to send Xiang Yang to cause trouble and provoke Young Master Liu.

That way, Liu Susu would risk her life to save him.

As a result, the enraged Third Young Master Liu would surely act out.

After all, he had been mingling in Yong City for so long that getting women was as easy as beckoning them over.

A village girl daring to resist-how could she have a good outcome?

Just as Jian Wushuang expected, the moment Liu Susu tried to intervene, Third Young Master Liu slapped her aside.

“You wretch, dare to think of other men while drinking with me? Today, I’ll make sure you learn your lesson!”

Clang!

Third Young Master Liu drew his sword, intending to slash Xiang Yang, but Liu Susu threw herself in the way to block him!

At that moment, Jian Wushuang and Hu San rushed in.

Especially Hu San, who erupted with an unstoppable momentum, and his long staff no longer trembled as he swung it toward Third Young Master Liu’s head.

Old Master Liu and Yang Madman, who hadn’t drunk much and were the most sober, originally intended to stop Third Young Master Liu. But upon seeing Hu San’s furious charge,

they were stunned.

Seeing the blood-covered Jian Wushuang was like witnessing a demon.

Thud!

Before Third Young Master Liu could react, there was a muffled sound.

Hu San’s staff struck Third Young Master Liu.

The slightly drunk soldiers sobered up instantly but found their knives had already been

taken.

Jian Wushuang then drew his sword again, cutting down the unsteady soldiers to the ground.

The commotion attracted all the porters, who quickly gathered around.

But seeing the blood-soaked ground, they turned pale and dared not approach.

Jian Wushuang, holding his sword, stood at the threshold and declared loudly, “These defeated and fleeing soldiers came to the docks to commit evil, randomly beating and killing porters, forcibly taking women, and even laying hands on Miss Liu. They deserve to die!”

His righteous words immediately established his stance.

Yang Madman, however, couldn’t accept this. In his eyes, the Liu family was supreme.

Especially this Third Young Master Liu.

He roared angrily, “Jian Wushuang, you dare kill a court officer on your own! Men, help me tie

him up and take him to the authorities for a reward!”

He wasn’t foolish, but unfortunately, no one moved at his command.

If Hu San had said it, perhaps some might have acted.

Old Master Liu wasn’t foolish either. He could see Jian Wushuang had incited Hu San and knew

resisting now meant certain death.

Xiang Yang climbed up from the ground, dusted off his clothes, ignored the frightened Liu

Susu beside him, walked to Jian Wushuang, and motioned for his sword.

Jian Wushuang casually tossed it over.

He then picked up Third Young Master Liu’s sword from the ground.

The moment he grasped the hilt, he felt a surge of confidence.

Even if faced with a thousand enemies, he could cut them all down.

That was the confidence of a swordsman.

Even if reduced to an ordinary person, as long as there was a sword in hand, they could stand

undefeated through the ages.

Xiang Yang’s confidence wasn’t as strong. Holding the knife, he walked toward Yang

Madman.

Yang Madman, seeing this, hurriedly retreated.

“You… what are you doing?” Xiang Yang, gripping the knife, spoke word by word, “What am I doing? Of course, I’m killing

you!”

With that, he stepped forward and slashed.

Thud!

The knife struck Yang Madman’s face.

Blood flowed down his face.

Yang Madman, who was used to bullying others, couldn’t bear this and immediately

screamed.

The mix of pain and fear overwhelmed him.

But Xiang Yang showed no mercy.

“Scream, keep screaming!”

Xiang Yang seemed like a different person, slashing down again and again.

This scene terrified the porters and Liu Susu.

And even Old Master Liu.

The old rogue, who had roamed the jianghu for decades, couldn’t help but tremble.

Compared to Xiang Yang, he feared Jian Wushuang more.

He didn’t know when Jian Wushuang had incited Hu San and could kill so many while

remaining calm.

Especially after killing Third Young Master Liu, which meant no way out in the future!

Unfortunately, he didn’t know Jian Wushuang had many paths.

At worst, he could flee.

Killing an officer?

Even if the Emperor of Jiang came, he would kill without hesitation.

It wouldn’t even make Jian Wushuang hesitate.
