Prodigal System in the Flourishing City

Chapter 517: Chapter 515: Battle of Ten Thousand People [Second Update]

Lu Xiaobu had toured clubs all over the country during the following time.

Of course, not every club was as hardworking as the first one he visited.

After all, each club has their own training methods and schedules.

However, one thing was the same, their excitement was absolutely wild when they saw Lu Xiaobu!

That day, every club echoed the same sentence: ”The championship goes to Lu Xiaobu!”

...

After touring the clubs, Lu Xiaobu returned home, reading books and watching videos!

Yes, he had originally planned to be lazy after finding a replacement speaker, but after visiting the clubs, he suddenly felt it was better to learn more.

Even though he had a replacement speaker, the more he knew, the more advantageous it would be for the commentary!

After all, just reading from the script, even if it was charming, wouldn’t feel so perfect!

He couldn’t let down everyone’s trust in him!

”If the country treats me as a national scholar, I will repay it in the same way!”

”Sister Lan, notify Sun Wanqi, tell her, it’s time to get the thing she promised done, let her endorse the national competition!”

Lu Xiaobu was frowning and reading a book while giving orders.

”Yes, Young Master!”

Liang Lan nodded. With Queen Sun’s participation, this opening ceremony would definitely be explosive!

”What about the arrangements for the opening match?”

Liang Lan asked.

The opening match required careful planning; it needed to be exciting without forcing teams to reveal all their strategies too soon!

She had studied the events in other countries.

Their opening matches were generally spearheaded by champion teams from minor or local competitions to boost the audience’s excitement.

However, this approach didn’t work so well domestically.

You probably still remember what the previous events were like!

”Opening match?”

Lu Xiaobu turned a page and thought for a bit: ”Just make it a fun match! Forget about an official opening match!”

”Young Master is wise!”

Lu Xiaobu’s words immediately woke Liang Lan from her dreams, and she became excited.

Right, why bother following other countries!

Heavenly Dynasty holds the true essence!

If anything, it should be others who take references from them!

”Also, work on the entry ceremony.”

Lu Xiaobu put down a book and started watching a video. Active learning is the most effective way of studying.

”Are we going to do something like the university league again, with those three thousand soldiers and three thousand palace maids?”

Liang Lan inquired.

This was her current idea; after all, those three thousand soldiers had indeed stunned the world in the university league!

Using it again might seem a bit repetitive, but it should still be effective.

”No, I’m tired of playing the Emperor, and it’s not quite fitting anymore.”

Lu Xiaobu waved his hand, remembering last time when he played the Emperor and how boring it was: ”Keep the main theme of cosplay, but change the style.”

”Change to what?!”

Liang Lan was puzzled. She thought the previous plan by the Young Master was already the pinnacle, and if it changed, she didn’t know if it could achieve that effect!

”Change it to a war between Demacia and Noxus!”

Excitement suddenly flared in Lu Xiaobu’s eyes: ”Besides cosplaying the champions from both factions, prepare five thousand soldiers for me, with different armor and weapons! Who cares about cosplay, this time, I’ll give them a real war!”

Honestly, just thinking about it excited him!

Where else could you see a war with ten thousand people except on TV?

And even on TV, it’s mostly done with special effects.

But today, he was making it real!

”Um... Young Master, please go ahead.”

Liang Lan slapped her forehead; the Young Master was on a spending spree!

”These ten thousand people, gather them from movie parks nationwide, all extras, prioritizing those with experience in portraying ancient war soldiers! Also, call Chen Feiyang here for me, have him direct the scenes, it has to be grand! As grand as possible!”

Lu Xiaobu made the arrangements.

”Alright, Young Master, what about the financial aspect?”

Liang Lan was taking notes in her notebook and asked,

”Twenty billion!”

Lu Xiaobu briefly calculated, ”Budget ten million for each performer, and throw the remaining ten billion entirely into production!”

”Sss!”

Even Liang Lan was shocked this time.

Young Master is really going big this time!

One hundred thousand per person, just for this one play, this one opening ceremony!

Absolutely the greatest expenditure unprecedented!

”Go handle it,” Lu Xiaobu waved his hand.

”Wait, Young Master, what about the host?”

Liang Lan thought for a moment and said.

”The host?! I’ll do it myself!”

Lu Xiaobu waved his hand, ”Let’s be diligent for once!”

”Okay, Young Master!”

Liang Lan suddenly felt an inexplicable sense of anticipation in her heart.

Young Master being diligent!

It’s not just in words, but actually being diligent, have you guys ever seen this?!

At least she really hasn’t in her memory!

This is indeed the first time ever, how could she not be excited?!

Of course, besides anticipation, there was also a bit of worry, afraid that the Young Master may mess things up!

When Young Master starts messing things up, he doesn’t care whether it’s his own event or not!

Forget it, let’s not think too much, Young Master has already set the general direction, now it was her time to execute it specifically.

Not only must it be executed perfectly, but it also needs to achieve 105%!

...

Days passed by, and the level of attention towards the Heavenly Dynasty’s national competition was increasing by the day!

Everyone was both excited and scared!

Finally, the opening ceremony was about to begin!

By the way, it’s worth mentioning that since the competition system here is different from Earth in various aspects, it’s designed based on the current circumstances, so there was no need for coded seating!

”It’s finally happening!”

”What do you guys think Lu Xiaobu will turn it into?!”

”I’m really looking forward to it!”

”Yes, Lu Xiaobu’s ability to handle huge events is unmatched!”

”But I’m still worried about the commentary aspect!”

”Me too! But, let’s just wait and see!”

”Did you guys get the tickets?!”

”No!”

”Then you better hurry up!”

”Are there still tickets?!”

”No more!”

”Damn it!”

”...”

Meanwhile, Korea was also highly focused on it.

After all, the national competition in Heavenly Dynasty could largely determine the level of the global competition.

The standard of the national competition can be reflected as early as in the first event!

So, whether Heavenly Dynasty embarrasses themselves, or they do, depended on this moment!

”Tsk tsk, waiting for Heavenly Dynasty to embarrass themselves!”

”Lu Xiaobu, an individual thinking he can challenge our great Korea?!”

”There’s a phrase in Heavenly Dynasty, called ’getting slapped in the face’, right?! Waiting to see Lu Xiaobu getting slapped!”

”This moment has finally arrived, I’ve already bought popcorn!”

”...”
