Zhan Shen: It’s Just a Sacrifice, How Can I Become a Villain?

136: I don’t eat beef!Loki lowered his head and saw his hands, where veins bulged high and his skin visibly slackened at a speed discernible to the naked eye.

The wrinkles on his skin increased, and Loki’s breathing grew heavier.

“Cough, cough!”

Loki began to cough uncontrollably, and as his body trembled violently, a few white hairs fell from his head.

“What did you do?”

Loki looked at Song Zhong in horror; it wasn’t just the physical aging, he could clearly feel the Divine Power within him also draining away.

This feeling was as if it were the Twilight of the Gods.

“Hehehe, Mr. Loki, the God of Mischief, aren’t you always proud of your wisdom and schemes? How is it that I see no composure on your face now?”

Song Zhong floated through the air and arrived before the old Loki. “Think carefully again, what exactly happened just now?”

Loki looked at Song Zhong and suddenly remembered that his aging did not begin after being bombarded by meteorites.

Before that, he had transformed into countless Guishe.

And the onset of aging was precisely at that time.

“The power of a Curse? Impossible, the authority of Curses is almost gone.” Loki looked at Song Zhong suspiciously.

He didn’t quite believe that this young man in front of him possessed such an ability. Currently, most of the authority over Curses was with Amun at the Sun God Temple in Egypt.

Of the remainder, Medusa of Greece took a small portion, and the rest was snatched by some weaker Gods.

Even if this young man had gained some authority, it would be impossible for him to Curse him.

Hearing Loki’s words, Song Zhong smiled and shook his head.

“It seems there are things even Gods don’t know! But then again, I originally intended to Curse you, which would have been troublesome.

“But you actually transformed into countless Guishe, automatically splitting your Divine Spark. The quantitative change led to a qualitative change, which is much easier than Cursing the complete God of Mischief.”

Loki’s earlier Clone was meant to fish in troubled waters, but he didn’t expect it to have a side effect on himself.

Song Zhong looked at the aging Loki and asked mockingly, “How about it? Try it, try to see if you can still twist facts now?”

Looking at Song Zhong’s ugly face, Loki practically wanted to Curse. Now that he was old, weak, sick, and disabled, and the other party was still mocking him like this, it was simply too disrespectful.

“You are truly despicable, insulting a weak person like this. Isn’t this the behavior your Great Xia despises most?”

Loki began to play for sympathy, trying to stir Song Zhong’s righteous indignation.

“Insulting the weak? Hehehe, that’s precisely my interest!” Song Zhong patted Loki’s face. Loki didn’t expect this guy to have no demeanor of a strong person at all.

He had just started a conversation, and this guy immediately turned around and slapped him in the face.

Song Zhong’s force wasn’t strong, but Loki felt as if he had eaten a Carolina Reaper, his face burning from inside out.

However, his Divine Power had weakened to the extreme, completely unable to affect Song Zhong’s movements.

“You have no demeanor of a strong person at all! You are not worthy of being a God.” Loki shouted furiously.

Song Zhong dug at his ear. “Is that so? Have you ever heard an ancient saying from Great Xia: ‘A good warrior has no glorious battle achievements’? Because a good warrior will never give the opponent any chance to turn the tables. Even if you are already dead, I will still chop you into a puddle of flesh before I can rest assured.”

Loki: ???

He looked at Song Zhong with a bewildered expression. This guy looked only eighteen or nineteen years old. Weren’t such young people the easiest to fool?

How could he so openly display his darkest side?

It was truly annoying. He was clearly the most despicable person in this world, how could there be someone even more despicable than him?

Loki’s heart suddenly harbored a few complex emotions, but in the face of absolute disparity in strength, survival was paramount.

“Oh radiant youth, we can discuss things amicably, can’t we?” Loki began to change his plan. “I think having the friendship of a God is always a good thing.”

Loki’s words piqued Song Zhong’s interest.

“Oh? Interesting. Then, what price does this God intend to pay to establish this friendship?”

Loki’s expression stiffened. He was already shamelessly abandoning his dignity to negotiate with Song Zhong, but the other party seemed quite disdainful.

He hesitated. “You will gain the friendship of Asgard. When I return, I can grant you one opportunity to enter Asgard’s treasury. How about it?”

Song Zhong shook his head.

The expectation in Loki’s eyes diminished a few points. “I can sign an equal contract with you. With the power of the contract, you don’t have to worry about me doing anything unfavorable to you.”

Song Zhong still shook his head.

Loki’s anger was already somewhat uncontrollable. This Mortal had already trampled his dignity.

He sneered and said, “Do you want me to be your servant?”

Song Zhong still shook his head.

“Then what exactly do you want?” Loki screamed hysterically, his voice like an old mosquito.

“I want a bowl of Iron Ox Beef Noodles!” Song Zhong said.

“Huh?”

Loki looked at Song Zhong in confusion, then he began to wonder if he had gone deaf.

Want a bowl of Iron Ox Beef Noodles, what kind of request is this?

Although the dietary habits of Great Xia and Northern Europe differed, Loki knew Great Xia well and understood that this was just a food affordable to ordinary people.

The difficulty of obtaining it could be said to be zero. Even though his Divine Power was almost depleted now, using the Law of trickery to conjure a bowl of beef noodles was still very simple.

“Just a bowl of Iron Ox Beef Noodles?” Loki couldn’t believe his ears. “If I conjure a bowl of noodles for you, you’ll let me go?”

Song Zhong nodded. “Hehehe, that’s right, but I don’t want green onions!”

Loki looked at Song Zhong, the expression in his eyes flickering between light and shadow.

Crazy, this world must be crazy.

You don’t want Asgard’s treasures, you don’t want the friendship of a God, but you insist on a messy bowl of Iron Ox Beef Noodles?

And no green onions?

“Is it a deal?”

“As long as my request is met, of course I’ll keep my word!” Song Zhong plucked a hair from Loki’s head, then blew it away.

“Good!”

A strange black light emanated from Loki’s fingertips, and after about ten seconds, a steaming bowl of beef noodles floated before Song Zhong.

Then Loki held up a pair of chopsticks with both hands and respectfully offered them to Song Zhong.

Song Zhong looked at the bowl of noodles. “Not bad, there really are no green onions!”

Loki breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully, everything went smoothly.

“Hehehe!”

Suddenly, a laugh interrupted Loki’s mood.

“Sorry, I forgot to tell you something!” Song Zhong revealed his pale teeth.

“I don’t eat beef, hahahaha…”
