I Just Wanted to Be a Galactic Hunter—Why Am I on the Wanted List?

Hearing Loren’s words, the figure wearing a breathing mask carefully sized Loren up once more, still finding it somewhat hard to accept.

Is it because I’ve been in this junkyard for too long? Are all the powerful people nowadays dressed like this, like little punks???

”Ahem, for safety, could you please prove...” a hesitant voice came again from beneath the breathing mask.

Upon hearing this, Loren mobilized his physical strength, lightly tapped his right foot, and his figure instantly vanished.

”Yo, is that enough?” a rough, deep voice rang out.

Loren’s figure instantly appeared behind the person wearing the breathing mask, his broad hand gently gripping the other’s neck.

He applied a slight pressure with his hand, as if ready to crush the other’s neck at the slightest disagreement.

Simultaneously, Loren also faintly released a trace of his ’work mode’ aura.

”E... Enough!” The somewhat sleazy voice under the breathing mask trembled.

Hearing this, Loren released the other’s neck and shook his own head.To think the first person fooled by the new disguise would be a friendly unit...

After Loren released his large hand, the figure wearing the breathing mask let out a sigh of relief, turned to look at Loren, and said in a low voice:

”Follow me.”

After saying that, he walked towards the passage entrance on the ground.

Loren followed silently without a word, and the figures of the two disappeared into that mysterious passage that led to who knows where...

On the surface of the junkyard.

The dilapidated robot left behind silently picked up the square black metal slab and placed it back in its original position, sealing the underground passage perfectly.

Then, the dilapidated robot moved the pile of junk it had shifted aside not long ago back, covering the black metal slab.

After completing all of the above, this dilapidated robot walked to a nearby trash pile, buried itself in the junk, pretending to be a robot abandoned for many years, and began silently guarding this passage entrance...

Inside the mysterious passage beneath the junkyard.

Loren finally didn’t need to hold his breath anymore; this mysterious passage actually had an air purification system.

”Yo! Friend! Where are we going?” Loren asked, shaking his head.

”Ahem... You can call me ’Repairman Hans’.”

The figure leading the way ahead, upon hearing Loren’s question, removed the breathing mask from his head, revealing a somewhat pale and gaunt face, as if suffering from malnutrition...

Then, he turned his head and said with his somewhat sleazy voice, sounding quite proud:

”We’re heading to my workshop. I’ve hollowed out the entire underground area beneath this junkyard.”

”And hidden under this junkyard is a starship that was scrapped long ago.”

”In the Federation’s starship management department records, it’s been listed as scrapped for over ten years.”

”Don’t worry, over these years, I’ve repaired it using parts I scavenged from all over.”

”Now, it’s a ghost ship with no records.”

”My orders are to pilot that ship, take you to the Federation Third Prison, then, after you finish your business, take you to the Radiant Flow Star Domain.”

After hearing the other’s explanation, Loren nodded silently.

Even though the Ferros Family’s powerful members are being watched by the Security Bureau, this old-money family rooted in the Federation for many years can still mobilize some hidden forces...

When Loren met this guy calling himself ”Repairman Hans,” he had already sensed the other’s Tier.

The other’s energy fluctuation was only at the strength of a Second Rank Superhuman...

”Yo! Nice work! Hans! How long have you been in this place?” Loren asked very casually with his big bald head.

One of the benefits of the new persona was that Loren could become someone who said whatever he wanted.

”Ahem... Can’t remember clearly, probably over ten years,” Hans replied.

”Ever since I came here, my sense of time has become a bit fuzzy.”

”If it weren’t for receiving the family’s orders this time, I would have thought they’d forgotten about me...”

Hearing this, Loren fell somewhat silent.

They made preparations over ten years ago...

”Yo! Hans! That robot that brought me here, did you repair it too?” Loren continued asking.

”Yeah, anyway, all these years, there wasn’t much to do. I picked up a lot of scrapped stuff, and I repaired whatever I could,” the other nodded and replied.

A guy with maxed-out repair skills? An interesting arrangement... Loren thought silently to himself.

After getting the answer he wanted, Loren stopped asking questions and followed the other in silence.

After the novelty wore off, Loren also grew a bit tired of his disguised way of speaking.

When the intensely stimulating novelty faded, only a sense of inexplicable emptiness remained.

Maybe I should disguise myself as a hot-tempered Martial Artist... Loren couldn’t help but think.

”Master, I think that’s an excellent decision,” Raven’s voice finally sounded again.

Loren: ”...I’ll give it a try.”

Just how much do you dislike that way of speaking, you stupid bird...

Soon.

In the passage, after following the other for a while longer, Loren arrived at an extremely vast underground space.

Huge lights lit up on the surrounding white metal walls, illuminating the place as bright as day.

The messy ground was piled everywhere with rusty metal parts, like one small mountain after another.

And at the edges of this underground space, there were some rusty robots constantly polishing discarded metal parts with tools in their hands, sending out showers of sparks.

Various harsh sounds echoed within this underground space, like a massive underground factory.

The polished metal parts were then sorted by another batch of robots with slightly less rust on their exteriors and transported to a spot near the center of the underground space to be piled up.

Right in the middle of this underground space, a starship with a somewhat dull exterior shell was parked.

Dozens of rusty robots were performing final checks and various maintenance tasks on that starship.

Seeing this somewhat spectacular scene, Loren silently looked at the somewhat gaunt figure in front of him.

Although only a Second Rank Superhuman, he’s unexpectedly capable...

After checking the work progress of those rusty robots, Hans turned back to Loren and said:

”Once they finish the checks, we can set off.”

Hearing this, Loren nodded and waited patiently.

After a while, Loren remembered a question.

”Yo! Hans, after you take me to the Radiant Flow Star Domain, what about all these rusty robots of yours?”

”I’m thinking about that problem too, wondering if I’ll ever have a chance to come back...”

”Probably not,” Loren said, a smile appearing on his scarred face.

”Then I’ll just have to destroy them. What a pity... It took me over ten years to accumulate all these robots...” Hans’s tone held some regret.
