I Just Wanted to Be a Galactic Hunter—Why Am I on the Wanted List?

In the dark alley.

Loren stood in place, watching that somewhat thin yet dangerous-looking retreating figure, revealing a teasing smile.

The youth walking toward the exit of the alley held a worn tactical flashlight in his left hand, while his right hand still gripped that simple dagger.

He hadn’t discarded his long-time ”companion” just because he’d acquired a new weapon.

This was an extremely standard slums outfit.

If there was one discordant element, it could only be the brand-new revolver holstered at the youth’s waist.

After the youth’s figure vanished from the dark alley, Loren softly sighed:

”Raven, I keep feeling like I’ve invested in a truly terrifying person.”

”Master, clearly before you call others terrifying, you should first take a good look at yourself.” Raven shook its head disdainfully.

Stupid master, my Wisdom tells me it’s hard for anyone more terrifying than you to appear...Loren: ”...”

This Raven really enjoys slandering me more and more...

Loren shook his head and silently activated the forced possession state on Raven.

The broad wings behind him spread open once more, giving a gentle flap, and Loren’s figure instantly vanished from the dark alley...

Soon, Loren returned to that Gray Zone.

In the bustling street, the scene fell silent again.

Loren walked nonchalantly toward the nearest ”businessman” and politely inquired:

”Hello, do you know where there’s a shop smuggling contraband?”

The ”businessman” Loren questioned answered with the fastest speech of his life:

”The next street over! The clinic at the third shop from the end!!”

”Thank you, I wish you prosperous business.” Loren lightly tipped his hat.

Having obtained his destination, Loren’s wings flapped once more, and his figure disappeared from the now-quiet street...

Two seconds later.

Loren was already standing before the door of a dilapidated clinic.

”I can’t help but feel this style is somewhat familiar...”

After muttering to himself, Loren retracted his wings, didn’t knock, and directly pushed the clinic door open.

Hearing someone enter, the ”doctors” inside the clinic all looked up toward the door.

Then, most of these doctors’ pupils constricted. Clearly, they too recognized the notorious Loren.

After all, being closely connected with the Security Bureau, in a place like the Gray Zone, that indeed counts as ”notorious”...

Then, Loren saw a ”familiar face” in this clinic that only operated at night.

It was precisely the ”Doctor” who had put Loren on the smuggling ship and fled with Loren from the Jadeite Star Domain to the Radiant Flow Star Domain.

”Doctor, we meet again.” Loren gave a slight nod toward him.

Since it’s an acquaintance, I won’t need to draw my gun...

The ”Doctor” Loren greeted trembled as he rose from behind the counter.

”Mr. Loren.” His expression held some helplessness.

Constantly getting tangled up with such important figures is very dangerous for a small fry like me...

Around the time Loren and Retab Collin were discussing that secret commission, a piece of news began circulating within the Radiant Flow Star Domain.

”That guy Loren, for Marcus’s daughter, mobilized the power of the Nature Sect to block a group of uninvited guests from the Abyss.”

This news initially spread from a portion of the Thrill-Seeker crowd within the Interstellar Hunter Association.

After all, Solon Linton’s War Treant was simply too massive, and it landed not far from the castle gates, making it hard to miss...

Later, after verification by various Cult Organizations, this news finally became confirmed.

These Cult Organizations, who witnessed the Nature Sect beating up the visitors from the Abyss, once again silently raised Loren’s danger level by several ranks and disseminated information about Loren to their subordinates.

These Cult Organizations really didn’t want their subordinates to inexplicably provoke someone suspected of being a God’s Favored One...

And from the Nature Sect at that...

And this ”Doctor,” who personally witnessed Loren and Ayla Morningstar meeting on the smuggling ship, was now the person within the Radiant Flow Star Domain who best understood the weight of this news.

”I saw with my own eyes how they met and formed a deep bond in a short time!! That Marcus’s daughter healed the injured Mr. Loren on the smuggling ship...” the Doctor silently cried out in his heart.

”And here I thought that little girl was trying to set a trap back then...”

”Who would have thought a small fry like me would get to know the full story...”

Recalling that scene on the smuggling ship in his mind, the Doctor couldn’t help but feel some emotion...

After briefly reminiscing, this ”Doctor” once again confirmed Loren’s dangerousness.

He became even more resolute in the thought he had upon seeing Loren enter: he absolutely must not get involved with such an important figure.

A small wave beside a big shot could drown someone like him...

So, he tentatively asked Loren:

”Mr. Loren, what brings you here?”

”Any smuggling ships?” Loren asked back with a smile.

This ”Doctor” fell into a rare silence, the expression on his face growing even more troubled.

You want to run away even in the Radiant Flow Star Domain???

And you’re with the Nature Sect, right??

Someone save me!

Loren! You bastard! What the hell did you do?!

After a long moment.

He answered, looking on the verge of tears:

”Yes! Let’s go right now!”

With that, this ”Doctor” quickly stripped off his clothes, threw them on the counter, and hurriedly ran toward the door.

I, Hunter Kuraya!!

I swear on my great-grandfather’s name!

After I get Loren onto that smuggling ship, I’m running off to the Beastkin Star Domain, and no one will ever find me again!!!

This smuggling business is way too dangerous!!

I absolutely cannot do it anymore...

Seeing the Doctor’s escape-like behavior, Loren followed his steps with a smile on his face.

He seems to have misunderstood something? But I don’t want to explain, this is just too amusing...

After running out of the clinic door, the Doctor skillfully ran to the backyard of the neighboring shop, quickly boarded a small aircraft, and Loren closely followed, sitting inside as well.

”Mr. Loren, where do you want to run... oh, no, where do you want to go this time?” Hunter Kuraya, sitting in the pilot’s seat, turned and asked.

”A habitable planet in the Central Star Domain. Can you get there?”

Hearing this, Hunter Kuraya frowned. The destination is the Central Star Domain? That could be troublesome...

”Which numbered habitable planet?”

”Number 78.” Loren replied calmly.

Hearing Loren’s answer, Hunter Kuraya visibly sighed in relief.

”That’s manageable. It’s a habitable planet located in the peripheral zone. As long as it’s not the Main City or the top-ranked habitable planets, it should be fine...”
