Magus: Rise of the Darkness Empress

This time, the boss did not immediately drank the potion or used it on his skin. Instead, he smelled it and run a little bit of life force throughout it in order to try and see if he could find out what kind of effect this potion had and what kind of materials had been used for its creation.

But obviously, this was something that Weiss had made. There was no way someone could find out its secrets so easily. So, no matter what the boss did, he was not able to learn anything about this potion at all.

So after some time, with a dejected look, he ended up asking Weiss about this.

This was something that he should have done much sooner but his pride was on the line and he wanted to look good before the ladies. And that was why he was trying so hard to find at least something about this potion.

But as he failed, there was nothing he could do but to ask Weiss about it. And Weiss did not beat around the bush and immediately told the man that this was a potion with the effect of boosting the life force conductivity of an artifact grade weapon.

As soon as he heard this, the boss’s eyes lit up and he immediately became super excited.

Most of the potions were used on living beings. So potions for weapon and such were extremely rare to find and also to make. That was why they were actually very very valuable.

So depending on the boost that this potion could give, this never before seen potion could very well be among one of the main items which would be brought onto the stage at the very last.

So as he was becoming very impatient, he quickly told the clerk from before to bring an artifact grade weapon for him to test this potion out.

The clerk lady was actually quite good at her job. So in no time, she brought an artifact grade sword back.

This sword in question was definitely an artifact but it was not very well made. Still, it should be good enough to test out the effect of the potion.

So, the boss first ran his life force through the sword in normal condition. Then he dropped a little bit of the third potion on it and ran his life force through it once more.

And the result for these two times was completely different. For the first time, the life force had definitely felt slow and it was experiencing a lot of resistance.

That was actually the expected result as this sword was not of a very high quality and it was also quite cheap. So it being a bit lackluster was just to be expected.

But then during the second test, the flow of life force was still a little bit slower but it was definitely much better than before and there was no doubt about this. And as soon as he realised this, a big smile appeared on his face.

All of these potions that this lady brought out were valuable and the last unique one was definitely going to be one of the final items for the auction. So just like that, Weiss and Elise had immediately became a real VIP customer this time.

So the boss quickly signed the contract with his company taking 10 percent of the sold price and Weiss taking the rest of the 90 percent. This was actually a very generous offer as normally, the percentage division was 80 and 20 or even 70 and 30.

Not just that, while happy conversing with the ladies, as soon as he heard that they had not found an inn for the night, he immediately offered the ladies a room in his own mansion as a VIP guest of his. He was even ready to escort them to the auction the next day on his luxurious carriage.

After thinking a little about this, both Weiss and Elise decided to accept this offer. They were not really worried about their safety. So this offer was actually not a problem for them. It was just going to save them the hassle of finding an inn so late.

The boss had not made the offer with too much confidence, so he was suprised that the ladies had accepted it. And then, he became overjoyed about his good luck.

Soon, all the contract signing was over and the boss even allowed the ladies to use his own reserved VIP room during the auction. Obviously a little bit of sexual teasing from Elise was responsible for getting this super generous offer.

The man had asked the ladies if there were something else that they wanted to sell during this auction. But Weiss had decided to sell nothing else.

There were actually many items that she could have sold in this auction. But she was already not lacking money at all. For this reason, Weiss saw no reason why she should sell more things here.

She was selling the potion not to earn money but to bait some big fishes. Other than that, she was only interested in buying valuable things from the auction and not in selling anything else.

...

So after some time, both Elise and Weiss left the shop with the boss and also the clerk. They would be going to the large mansion of this man using his carriage.

The carriage in question was actually luxurious even though it could not match the super high standard of a high ranking noble. But for a commoner like him, this was a definitely a top tier carriage.

And as soon as everyone entered the carriage and the door was closed, two of the ladies sat beside the man and started to tease him. Obviously the two ladies in question were Elise and the clerk. As for Weiss, she was not really very interested in things like this, so she just continued to watch without any changes in her expression.

So the merchant was already almost losing himself in lust, so what was going to happen when these two peerless beauties were going to step foot inside his own mansion ?
