Magus: Rise of the Darkness Empress

While the large muscular man came charging at Weiss, the other person tried to attack the slaves. But Weiss moved quickly and blocked his way.

With her agility specialisation and her Fleet Footed Steps movement technique, she had a massive advantage over both of these men in terms of speed. So she would definitely not allow them to hurt the slaves whom she had freed.

Seeing Weiss before him, Femion did not even think twice before thrusting his long and thin sword with high piercing power toward her heart. This was a fast attack but Weiss was still able to dodge it easily by slightly moving her body.

At that exact moment, the mountain of a man came charging at her again and punched her with all his might. But just like before, as this man’s speed was even slower than the other man, so Weiss was able to easily dodge the punch too.

After this Weiss also attacked them back but did not go all out. She was being cautious here because she was fighting not just one but two enemies.

As her vitality was nothing impressive, if any of their attacks hit her, she could get badly injured. So there was no need for her to take extra risk for no reason.

She could take her time to analyse these two knights’ fighting style and after that she would have a much easier time in defeating them.

The large man blocked her attack with his gauntlet and managed to stood his ground. The other one parried her attack with much difficulty and broke his balance whine doing so.

Just from this short exchange it was clear that in terms of combat prowess, there was a vast disparity between the two people present here. The burly man was definitely stronger than the other one.

Weiss was also able to find out that the specialised attributes of the burly man were strength and vitality. This was a very good and useful combination.

As for the other man, it looked like he was definitely specialising in dexterity but Weiss was not sure about his second attribute.

Then Weiss started to take turns attacking both of them and whole doing so, she was even able to help out of the slaves every now and then.

With Weiss continuously targeting their fatal spots and trying to kill them, the two knights were unable to focus on anything else but the enemy before them.

She was able to have such an easy time only because she was a mid level Knight and had very powerful perception and agility.

With these two attributes, she was able to analyse their movements perfectly and then she was able to very accurately predict what they were going to do a few seconds before the move was made.

Currently, both Femion and Vaska were like an open book to Weiss. And it was only a matter of time before they would be defeated.

With Weiss’s speed, it was impossible for any of these two to even run away from her. They would be cut down before they could go far. So both of them felt as if they were stuck in a quagmire.

Vaska was not really good at dealing with troublesome situations like this. So he was getting more and more angry and inpatient as the battle was dragging on.

With this kind of temper, he soon was unable to hold back anymore and started using a very strong move.

This move he just used was something similar to the Forced Eruption special technique that Weiss had seen before but a lot more extreme and strong.

Vaska’s whole body shine with a green glow and he started to go berserk. His attacks also before more disorganised. But at the same time, the power and speed behind all the attacks became much stronger.

But even this slight boost to his speed, it was not enough to offset the difference between Weiss and his agility. So even though Vaska’s punches were even more dangerous now, as Weiss was able to continue dodging them, it was meaningless.

On the other hand, Femion took this opportunity to push Weiss back and go after the slaves. He had noticed that the slaves were freeing each other and that was making his super angry. They were all his properties.

After this long, Weiss had managed to learn what Femion’s second specialised attribute was. It was endurance. Even after fighting continuously for so long, he was not even a little bit tired. So a long lasting battle was his speciality.

At this exact moment, one of the male slave from the outer area was trying to carry a lady and her young child away. They were brought here not long ago and had gotten injured during the capturing process.

So currently, both the mother and the child were having trouble moving. So this man needed to carry them on his back and hands.

As soon as Femion saw this, they became his target. He had seen how this young lady was trying to protect the slaves. So he was planning to take these slaves as hostages in order to stop her.

But doing so was a mistake. Femion was not really a fan of battles, so his experience in fighting enemies stronger than him was very limited. Previously in most of his other battles, he had only faced off against people who were definitely weaker than him.

If that was not the case, no experienced knight would dare to show their undefended back to a stronger enemy. And Femion in his rage and inexperienced, made this major mistake.

How could Weiss miss this chance. If she could take out one of the knights, then this battle would truly be over. The other person would not even have a chance to escape.

With this in mind, Weiss again dodged Vaska’s attack and used the Forced Eruption technique alongside her Fleet Footed Steps.

By using these two techniques together, Weiss could easily defeat them. But as the Forced Eruption was a tiring technique to use, she only used it when the time was right. And this was exactly the correct time.

With this combination of moves, Weiss almost disappeared from her spot, as if she had teleportated away.

And just as Femion’s sword was about the reach the slave man’s head, he suddenly found another sword piercing through his chest. It had went directly through his heart with perfect precision.

Femion looked back with an expression of horror, anger, regret and anguish on his face and only a cold and indifferent eyes looked back at him. Then his eyes closed, for forever and he fell down to the ground. His body was now lifeless.

The man who were being attacked by Femion had frozen in his spot after feeling the direct killing intent of a knight.

Weiss helped him out with her own aura and told him to continue running toward the carriages. Then she quickly took off toward the deeper parts of the core area.

...

Seeing his boss Femion getting pierced from behind, Vaska had immediately realised that now he had no chance of winning this battle. So he had done what would give him at least a chance of survival. He had tried to run away.

While running, he had even tried to start a fire in order make it harder for the little girl to chase after him. But with how fireproof this underground base was made to be, he was unsuccessful in his attempts.

Vaska was really feeling terrible and very angry currently. His life was going so well that he had nothing to complain about. But in just a blink of an eyes, it had suddenly turned into shit.

As Vaska tried to turn a corner, suddenly an arrow come toward him out of nowhere and hit him directly in his leg. Because of that, he fell down on the ground.
