Chaotic Sword God

In the Taiji mountain range, the various disciples who received orders from higher up all began jostling with eagerness, making preparations for the gigantic spring that was about to appear.

“I wonder how many gigantic springs will appear. If there’s only one, then it’ll get interesting…” The news of the gigantic spring spread like wildfire. Some people rejoiced while others were worried.

Afterwards, the Taiji spiritual Qi completely vanished. There was not a single strand of Taiji spiritual Qi produced across the entire mountain range. The spiritual Qi springs ceased to exist as well.

During this period, there were discussions about the gigantic spring everywhere. In particular, how they would share the gigantic spring became a hot topic between the various alliances.

Gigantic springs appeared far too rarely. The last time one emerged was eight million years ago. Only experts who stood at the apex of the world had any experience with it. The lower disciples had never even heard of it before.

As a result, no one in the Taiji mountain range had any clue where the gigantic spring would appear or how many would appear.

Perhaps some of the Immortal Exalt ancestors behind them possessed greater details, but none of them elaborated.

Perhaps in their eyes, they did not care too much about the Taiji mountain range. Whether a sect prospered or not would never come down to the strength of the mainstay but the quality of the Immortal Exalts at the very top.

The situation with the lack of Taiji spiritual Qi changed very quickly. After waiting quietly for half a year, the Taiji mountain range suddenly began to stir. An extremely brilliant beam of spiritual Qi erupted in the mountains, bursting into the sky.

In the very north of the Taiji mountain range, a huge storm of spiritual Qi had already formed. It spanned a hundred kilometres across, covering a very large range.

“W-what is that? Don’t tell me that’s the legendary gigantic spring…”

“What an enormous disturbance. It truly is the gigantic spring that only appears once every few million years…”

“It’s the gigantic spring. The gigantic spring has appeared. Quick, get an advantageous position…”

“I thought it would appear in the very centre, but it’s in the north. Who’s the closest…”

......

…

The appearance of the gigantic spring made the previously quiet Taiji mountain range bubble. From all directions, several hundred thousand cultivators rushed towards the gigantic spring desperately.

Close to a hundred strands of Taiji spiritual Qi had already appeared in the spiritual Qi storm. Whoever reached there first could easily claim the Taiji spiritual Qi. They would not encounter too much resistance.

On top of that, the gigantic spring produced Taiji spiritual Qi at an extremely fast rate. New Taiji spiritual Qi would emerge basically every few seconds.

More and more Taiji spiritual Qi accumulated inside the gigantic spring.

“Mine, this is mine. Hahaha, after spending all this time in the Taiji mountain range, I’ve finally gotten my hands on some…”

A Nine-heavenly Xuan Immortal from a smaller organisation reached the gigantic spring first. He rushed into the spiritual Qi spring and claimed over a dozen strands of Taiji spiritual Qi near him as quickly as possible before flying off again without pausing. He did not waste a single extra moment there.

Shortly afterwards, even more cultivators surged into the gigantic spring. The Taiji spiritual Qi that drifted through the air became their target. Intense battles unfolded.

“The gigantic spring is a hundred kilometres wide. We’ll only occupy a fifth of the region. Anyone who sets foot in this region will face the attacks of our alliance…” The several thousand Nine-heavenly Xuan Immortals led by the Cosmic Grotto and the Thousand Mountains clan rushed into the gigantic spring and quickly occupied the central region. They unfurled a formation, which turned into a barrier of light that isolated the region. They had already carved up the area into their own territory.

“This region belongs to our Three Elements alliance. We hope everyone can respect it…”

“This region is our Alliance of Mountains and Seas’ territory…”

“Our Alliance of Cloud Cover Mountain will only claim a tenth of this area. Please do not infringe on our space, everyone…”

The remaining organisations all copied them, forming alliances and carving up the territory. However, there was not enough space to go around, so they argued with one another. The various alliances descended into a mess of battles very quickly.

After all, there were far too many people. Although over half of the people who entered the Taiji mountain range had already been eliminated, there were still several tens of thousand people remaining. The alliances they formed reached several dozen in number. The larger alliances wanted to claim it all for themselves, while the smaller alliances wanted a share too, refusing to make significant concessions. They struggled to reach an agreement.

By the time Jing Mumu and the people of the Black Demon Palace had reached the gigantic spring after crossing almost the entire mountain range, virtually all of the space had been claimed. Intense battles unfolded in various regions.

The battles that occurred here were even more intense than before. After all, it was far too small of an area, with only a diameter of a hundred metres. With so many Nine-heavenly Xuan Immortals squeezed in here, not only did they have to fend off their opponents, but they also faced energy storms coming from all directions as well. There were many accidental injuries.

“We’re late.” Looking at the gigantic spring that had been split up among the alliances already, Ye Kai glanced at the hundred-odd people around him and immediately felt powerless.

The various alliances who killed their way into the gigantic spring had several thousand people at the very least. Quite a few of them even had over ten thousand.

On the outskirts of the gigantic spring, there were even a few weaker alliances watching on fiercely.

Compared to these alliances established by multiple major organisations, the mere hundred-odd people of the Black Demon Palace did seem rather lacking.

“It’s Jing Mumu! Jing Mumu is here…”

“The deviant is here. She killed two hundred Nine-heavenly Xuan Immortals with a single attack…”

Jing Mumu’s arrival also attracted a lot of attention, as she was simply too dazzling. Her battle prowess could only be described as overwhelming. She had already become an invincible legend in the Taiji mountain range.

“Fellow Jing, I am Shi Tian. As a representative of the Cosmic Grotto, I sincerely invite you to join our alliance…”

Shi Tian was the strongest core disciple of the Cosmic Grotto. He possessed the title of being the strongest beneath Immortal Monarch on the Taiji Heaven, yet he proactively extended an invitation to her.

“Fellow Jing, come to our Three Elements alliance. We’ll give you half of our Taiji spiritual Qi…”

“Fellow Jing, why don’t you join us and lead us on a slaughter inside to claim the best spots…”

The various alliances all extended invitations towards Jing Mumu, trying to flatter her. They were all extremely humble in front of her.

Jing Mumu had already become a highly desirable figure.

“Fellow Jing, w-what should we do?” Ye Kai asked carefully. The Black Demon Palace had already become a background figure. In this place where each alliance had several thousand people, they could not produce any splashes with their numbers.

Jing Mumu did not give an immediate reply. She looked around amongst the sea of people inside the gigantic spring and locked onto one region very quickly. Her gaze turned cold as she said, “C’mon, I’ll lead you to revenge!”

As soon as she said that, Jing Mumu erupted with light, charging into the gigantic spring like a sword splitting the world in two. Wherever she passed by, cultivators avoided her like the plague. No one had the courage to block her way.

Boom!

In the next moment, a formation shattered in the gigantic spring. The several thousand cultivators who sat inside all stood up. They were alarmed.

This was an alliance formed under the lead of the Blade Sect of Trickling Moon, the Myriad Orchid sect, and the Sword Sect of Rainbow Immortal, along with some smaller organisations.
