Transformed Into a Little Green Tea, Ceo Sister, Don't Hit Anymore

86: Meeting acquaintances”How dare you hit me!” Tan Xiaoqin clutched her face, looking furious.

”I told you before, I hit hard, and I was just defending myself,” Ye Xi said with an innocent expression.

”I’m going to kill you.” Tan Xiaoqin reached out again, trying to grab Ye Xi’s face.

”Slap!” Another loud slap landed on Tan Xiaoqin’s face. Her vision went black, and she fainted to the ground.

”With your meager abilities, you dare to lay a hand on me?” Ye Xi showed a disdainful smile.

At this moment, everyone present was dumbfounded by this series of actions. They had originally thought this junior was gentle and elegant, but they didn’t expect her to hit so hard.

By the time everyone recovered, Ye Xi had long since disappeared.

After some time into the new semester, life seemed exceptionally leisurely. She only had to attend a few classes each day, and the teachers were quite lenient with attendance requirements, which made Ye Xi extremely lazy.

”It’s time to find something to do,” Ye Xi said, resting one leg over the other, shaking her head in boredom.

Just then, her phone suddenly rang. Ye Xi glanced at it and answered.

”Hello, Cousin, is something up?”

”There is indeed something, and it’s good news for you. Let’s have dinner at 6 PM tonight and discuss it at a restaurant.”

Ye Sirui was a little excited. He had wanted to visit Ye Xi at school for a while, but he had been busy and hadn’t found the opportunity. This time, he wanted to give Ye Xi a surprise.

”Alright.” Ye Xi nodded.

At 6 PM, Ye Xi and Ye Sirui arrived at a Western restaurant.

”The food here is quite good. My friends and I often come here.” Ye Sirui secretly glanced at Ye Xi and was caught, so he could only give an awkward smile.

”Indeed.” Ye Xi picked up her fork, tasted a bite of steak, and nodded.

”Cousin, have you ever thought about making a big career in business?” Ye Sirui looked at her with a smile.

”Cousin, how could I dare to have such thoughts? Starting a business is a life-or-death matter, and I don’t even have the capital,” Ye Xi said, shaking her head with a smile.

”Cousin, what are you talking about? You’re underestimating our Ye family. I have a company in my hands, and I want to transfer it to you. Would you like to consider it?”

Seeing Ye Xi fall silent, Ye Sirui’s brows furrowed slightly. ’Cousin, don’t refuse the money I’m giving you.’

He paused, then added, ”Giving you this company is Grandpa Ye’s intention, your maternal grandfather. You must accept it, otherwise I’ll definitely get scolded.”

”Grandpa gave it to me?” Ye Xi pointed at herself, indicating disbelief.

From her perspective, her mother and she had been away from the Ye family for so long, and they had little connection to it. She had also learned about past events from her mother, so Grandpa Ye must hate them both now, right?

”Yes, Grandpa Ye is just tough on the outside but soft on the inside. He really likes both of you. If you do this task well, you might be able to come home,” Ye Sirui said with a bright smile.

Ye Xi fell silent again. Through her interactions with Li Xuening, she knew very well that managing a company was troublesome and busy. If she took it on now, wouldn’t she no longer be able to be lazy?

Ye Xi already had a plan to refuse. A small company worth a few million yuan didn’t even catch her eye now, but she still casually asked, ”What’s the scale of the company’s assets?”

Seeing Ye Xi interested, Ye Sirui’s eyes lit up, and he held up one finger.

”Ten million?” Ye Xi asked, surprised.

Seeing Ye Sirui shake his head, Ye Xi’s eyes widened a bit, and she spoke again, ”One hundred million.”

Ye Sirui still shook his head. Ye Xi felt a little nervous and guessed again, ”One billion?”

”No, no, no.” Ye Sirui shook his head.

”It’s not a million, is it? I’m not interested in money.” Ye Xi was a little impatient. She was someone with a cheat system, and this company was too small.

”Ten billion.”

Hearing this astronomical figure, the meat in Ye Xi’s mouth got stuck in her throat, and she was dumbfounded.

Who just said they weren’t interested in money? That certainly wasn’t me. Every penny is money, and I want this company.

Ye Xi patted her chest to relieve her nervousness, then pretended to be nonchalant and said, ”Cousin, do you really think I can manage such a large company?”

”My intuition tells me that Cousin has a great talent for business. Besides, if there’s anything you’re not familiar with, you can ask me and your wife. We guarantee we’ll teach you until you’re satisfied,” Ye Sirui chuckled.

”This really isn’t good. Taking your money for no reason makes me feel very uneasy.” Ye Xi waved her hand, feigning an attitude of treating money like dirt.

However, her pretense was full of flaws, and Ye Sirui wasn’t a fool. How could he not see that she was very interested in the company?

”Cousin, you’ve been drifting outside since you were young, and you’ve suffered a lot of grievances. This is a small compensation from the Ye family, and you must accept it.”

Before he finished speaking, Ye Sirui had already taken out documents from his backpack, which contained a draft of the share transfer agreement.

”Cousin, I guarantee there are no traps in this contract. You don’t need to read it as detailed as a job application. Just sign the contract, and you’ll be a multi-billionaire,” Ye Sirui pushed the contract in front of Ye Xi.

After quickly browsing the relevant information, Ye Xi discovered that the Ye family held 45% of Tianhui Department Store’s shares. Now, Ye Sirui intended to transfer 30% of those shares to her.

Considering the company’s current market value of over 10 billion yuan, this transfer transaction was worth approximately 4 to 5 billion yuan.

Ye Xi inwardly exclaimed, ’Holy cow, getting rich is this simple? This is too amazing.’

”Cousin, you’re not joking with me, are you?” A hint of longing flashed in Ye Xi’s eyes.

Although she didn’t know how to manage a company, with the dog system, was there anything it couldn’t solve?

Ye Sirui shook his head, ”Of course I’m not joking with you. Just sign it. However, this company currently has a bit of a problem.”

”What problem?” Ye Xi asked curiously.

”There are quite a few corrupt individuals in the company who have been embezzling, leading to a decline in performance and profits. I’m currently investigating thoroughly, but this won’t affect you.”

Hearing the helplessness in Ye Sirui’s voice, Ye Xi understood that this was definitely not a small problem.

Ye Sirui added, ”But you don’t need to worry. Once I collect evidence of their corruption and bribery, this matter will be resolved.”

”Then thank you, Cousin.” Ye Xi nodded and signed her name.

Ye Sirui put away the documents and smiled, ”I’ve already informed the board of directors. You can find time to visit the company.”

”I really don’t know how to thank you,” Ye Xi said helplessly.

”We’re all family, so there’s no need for thanks. To be honest, I can now call you President Ye,” Ye Sirui looked at Ye Xi with a doting expression.

”Oh, and here’s a black gold membership card from the Ye family. With this card, you can spend at businesses related to the Ye family and enjoy super VIP treatment, all without paying.”

”Thank you, Cousin.”

...

After returning home, Ye Xi covered her head with a blanket and snorted with laughter. If she managed this company well, wouldn’t it also solve Li Xuening’s urgent needs?

”Dog system, quickly help me find out what problems Tianhui Department Store is facing and how to solve them?” Ye Xi was a little anxious.

”This system has found that the biggest problem Tianhui Department Store is currently facing is that the company’s second-in-command, Zhao Youdao, is colluding with other shareholders to jointly oppose the Ye family, and he is the one who has embezzled the most.”

Ye Xi angrily slammed the table and cursed, ”How dare you embezzle my money, you bastard! You really don’t want to strive for anything anymore. My billions, my heart aches so much.”

Coming to her senses, Ye Xi asked again, ”With such a serious incident, why can’t the Ye family find out?”

”That’s something you don’t know. This Zhao Youdao also colluded with competitors and registered many shell companies. Now, all the evidence has been transferred abroad, making it very difficult for the Ye family to investigate,” Xiao Ai patiently explained.

”Oh, right, dog system, aren’t you able to materialize? Go abroad and bring all the evidence back. I’m going to teach them a good lesson later.”

Ye Xi smiled slyly, opened the system panel, found the Xiao Ai Materialization option, and her jaw instantly dropped.

”Holy cow, you damn system are such a rip-off, the price has skyrocketed tenfold!” Ye Xi said speechlessly.

”So, are you buying or not? If not, go investigate abroad yourself,” Xiao Ai said with dissatisfaction.

Ye Xi gritted her teeth and said, ”Fine, I’ll buy it.”

In any case, Ye Xi felt that she still needed to check on the company’s situation in a few days.

Three days later, near Tianhui Building in Shengzhong District.

”President Ye, would you like me to be your secretary?”

The two elegantly stepped out of a luxury sports car. Li Xuening held Ye Xi’s arm, gently kissed her hand, her eyes sparkling with tenderness and anticipation.

”Wife, you’re busy enough with your own company’s affairs. How do you have free time to help me manage these?” Ye Xi smiled and shook her head, a hint of doting in her eyes.

”President Ye, my precious Ye, I’m really a little worried that you might be captivated by those young and beautiful female secretaries. What if you fall for someone else and abandon me, your old flame? It truly frightens me so much.” Li Xuening’s voice was full of a spoiled tone.

”We’ve been together for so long, can’t you trust me completely yet? Besides, I haven’t even figured out who my secretary is yet!” Ye Xi gently tapped her forehead with her finger, her face beaming with a happy smile.

”Since Tianhui Department Store is your property, next time I’ll go to your supermarket and shamelessly take whatever I want.” A mischievous glint flashed in Li Xuening’s eyes.

”Take whatever you want! Anyway, everything I have is yours. Take as much as you like.”

While she wasn’t paying attention, Ye Xi quietly reached out and gently touched her thigh.

After walking a few steps, Li Xuening exclaimed, ”Your company headquarters is quite impressive.”

At a glance, the glass curtain walls of the dozens-story building were like a giant mirror, reflecting the city’s myriad lights and uniquely shaped landmarks.

The plaza downstairs was bustling with people, lively and vibrant. Business people in suits hurried by, their coffee still steaming.

On the other side, the company interior also became lively.

”Quick, quick, the President is coming soon! Dump all this trash and pay attention to hygiene!”

”Yes, yes, Director, we’ll get it organized right away.”

”I wonder if President Ye is just here for show. If not, our good days might be coming to an end.”

”I heard the new President Ye is a super beauty. If I could marry her, our ancestral graves would surely be smoking with good fortune.”

Here, Ye Xi stood outside the building, adjusting her clothes. Today, she was dressed in a powerful female executive outfit, giving off an overall impression of heroic spirit.

”Do I have an imposing presence?” Ye Xi looked at Li Xuening, pointing at herself.

”No imposing presence, but certainly an overwhelming one,” Li Xuening said with a mischievous smile.

”Get out of here.”

As they passed through the revolving door, a loud voice came over.

”Welcome, President Ye.”

”You are?”

Ye Xi looked up and saw a slightly overweight, well-dressed middle-aged man walking quickly towards her, his face beaming with smiles.

”It’s alright if you don’t know me. Let me introduce myself, I’m Liu Ming, the company’s Vice President.”

”Vice President Liu, I’ve kept you waiting.”

Ye Xi extended her hand, maintaining a professional smile.

Seeing Ye Xi shake hands with the man, Li Xuening wished she could beat him up, but she still knew what was more important.

Liu Ming clasped Ye Xi’s hand with both of his, shaking it up and down with just the right amount of force: ”Not at all, it’s our honor to welcome President Ye! Everyone in the company has been eagerly awaiting your arrival!”

”I am your President Ye’s friend. Your President Ye’s hand isn’t comfortable, so please inform everyone that there’s no need to shake hands anymore.” Li Xuening coughed twice, giving him a menacing look.

”President Ye, this way please!” Liu Ming stepped aside to lead the way, while also relaying Li Xuening’s words to the others.

Entering the spacious lobby, as far as the eye could see, two rows of employees in uniform, with solemn expressions, stood on either side of the red carpet.

As Ye Xi’s figure stepped over the threshold, they simultaneously bowed in a standard greeting: ”A warm welcome to you, Chairwoman Ye!”

After the bows, everyone’s gaze simultaneously focused on Ye Xi and Li Xuening.

”What two beautiful women, truly stunning beauties. As expected, a beautiful woman’s friends are also beautiful.”

Many men even shouted internally, ”I am President Ye’s dog.”

A flicker of imperceptible annoyance crossed Ye Xi’s brows. Since she was only here to check on the situation, she had explicitly rejected any form of welcome ceremony, yet her instructions had been disregarded.

”Everyone is too kind.” Ye Xi nodded and smiled.

”Not at all, not at all. This is a welcome ceremony spontaneously organized by various departments. Everyone is just so excited to see you!”

Everyone smiled, trying to show their best side to Ye Xi.

”Secretary Lin, quickly come and lead President Ye.”

As soon as the Vice President finished speaking, a graceful young woman stepped out from the crowd, her appearance instantly attracting everyone’s attention.

Ye Xi recognized her at a glance, a hint of surprise flashing in her eyes: ”Lin Keke!”

”Ye...”

Lin Keke was about to speak but suddenly realized the status difference between them, and her words stopped abruptly.

At school, she was the campus belle, the focus of everyone’s attention, but after entering society, she deeply understood the cruelty of reality.

At this moment, she secretly rejoiced, ’Fortunately, the new leader is a young and beautiful woman. If it were an older man, I probably wouldn’t be able to bear the pressure and would break down.’
