BTTH: Rebirth of Liu Xi

Futu Xuan had originally planned to handle this matter privately. After all, Liu Xi’s reputation across the Great Thousand Worlds was immense — the man hailed as the Demon Slaying King of the Great Thousand Palace.

But now, that no longer mattered.

The old man’s deeply wrinkled face twitched, cold fury flashing within his eyes as his gaze slid past Qing Yanjing and locked onto Liu Xi.

”You shall pay for your crimes with death,” Futu Xuan declared icily. ”As for Qing Yanjing, she will be imprisoned within the Ancestral Pagoda for all eternity, to reflect upon her sins and never again taste freedom.”

His voice was like the decree of a god, sentencing the pair to eternal damnation in a few short words.

With a wave of his sleeves, black and white Spiritual Energy poured forth, intertwining and coiling into two colossal dragons — one dark, one bright. Their roars shook the heavens, and their bodies intertwined to form a titanic millstone that radiated a suffocating, domineering power.

Heaven and earth were split into shades of black and white. Endless Yin and Yang Qi gathered overhead, causing space itself to tremble, as though the world was about to collapse.

The terrifying pressure surged forward. Qing Yanjing’s face changed as she cried out urgently, ”That’s the Yin-Yang Millstone! Once, a Saint Grade Heavenly Sovereign was caught within it — though he escaped alive, two or three-tenths of his power was ground away!”

Liu Xi patted her back gently, his face calm, his eyes gleaming with sharp light. ”Don’t worry,” he said softly. ”I want to see if someone who dares threaten to kill me and imprison you… truly has the qualifications to say such words.”

His voice grew colder with each syllable.

The Nine-Turn Profound Art began to circulate. Brilliant golden radiance burst from his body, his form shining like molten metal. Then, he released Qing Yanjing, stepped forward, and leapt into the sky.

As he rose, his entire body blazed with dazzling gold light — firm, unyielding, invincible.

Watching him soar into the heavens, Qing Yanjing’s heart ached with guilt. This disaster had all been brought upon him because of her.

She bit her lip, frustrated that even as a Heavenly Sovereign herself, she was but a mere Spiritual Grade expert — far too weak to intervene against a Saint Grade.

Unless…

Her eyes flickered. Spiritual Arrays!

If she could elevate her mastery to the Saint Grade Grandmaster Realm, perhaps she could aid him. Determination hardened in her gaze.

Meanwhile, above the sky —

The raging black-and-white energy stormed against Liu Xi, but not even dimmed his golden light by the slightest degree.

Futu Xuan frowned. Something about Liu Xi’s state unsettled him.

”Yin-Yang Millstone — suppress!”

With a roar, he unleashed his bloodline divine art with full confidence. No matter how strange Liu Xi was, he was still just an Immortal Grade Heavenly Sovereign. There was no way he could overturn the heavens—

Except Liu Xi did exactly that.

The titanic Yin-Yang Millstone descended, covering the firmament, shrouding the land in darkness and light. The void cracked and collapsed under its weight, swallowed by a black abyss.

Even with the Nine-Turn Profound Art protecting him, Liu Xi felt that suffocating oppression. The might of a Saint was indeed fearsome — but Liu Xi was no ordinary Immortal Grade.

He charged straight into the millstone’s core. Within that black-and-white world, Yin and Yang energies raged like a storm, lashing against him.

Ordinary experts would have their strength eroded in mere moments — but the golden light around Liu Xi did not falter. The storm could not pierce his defense.

Then, from the swirling chaos, two colossal dragons — one of Yin, one of Yang — lunged toward him with earth-shaking roars.

Liu Xi grinned. ”Flame Command!”

A peculiar vibration rippled outward from him, instantly enveloping the entire black-and-white world.

The Yin-Yang storm twisted violently. The temperature soared. The two dragons writhed in agony, their forms contorting.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

In the blink of an eye, the black-and-white dragons burst into flame, transforming into twin fire dragons. The entire world turned into a blazing inferno — Yin fire and Yang fire devouring everything in sight.

Outside, before Futu Xuan could even react, the colossal Yin-Yang Millstone suddenly detonated. A vast sea of black-and-white fire erupted across the heavens.

Futu Xuan’s face drained of color.

Whoosh!

From the raging inferno, a streak of golden light shot forth like lightning — Liu Xi’s figure, wreathed in radiance. The terrifying pressure of his advance made space itself shudder.

Futu Xuan barely had time to think — to even wonder how his divine art had been shattered — before he flung his hand out, summoning a pagoda.

The pagoda grew against the wind, expanding to several hundred meters tall. Its crystalline jade-like surface gleamed with ancient, oppressive power.

The Divine Pagoda!

Even so, Liu Xi did not slow down.

He surged forward, the golden light around him blazing ever brighter. Chaotic Spiritual Energy roared through his veins as boundless power burst outward.

Ever since cultivating the Nine-Turn Profound Art, his very flesh had begun to birth a divine force — a godlike energy that granted him limitless strength.

And right now, he had only one thought: beat Futu Xuan senselessly.

No words, no nonsense.

He raised his arm, clenched his fist — and struck.

Bang!

The deafening clash rang like metal striking metal.

”Peerless Saint Artifact?” Liu Xi sneered. ”Then break!”

Shock flickered across his eyes — but no hesitation. Even an artifact of that level couldn’t stop his will to crush this old man.

Punch after punch thundered out. Each strike carried unstoppable force, the impact rippling outward in visible waves. Any Immortal Grade expert struck by even a fraction of that backlash would have been annihilated instantly.

But when the shockwaves washed over Liu Xi’s own body, they vanished without a trace. Unless one could destroy all his defenses in a single instant, he was untouchable.

And this was only the Sixth Turn.

When he reached the Ninth Turn, his divine energy would become endless — the true Indestructible Vajra Body.

Within the Divine Pagoda, Futu Xuan’s expression twisted. He could feel it — his sacred tower trembling, fracturing.

A Peerless Saint Artifact… about to break.

Unthinkable!

Crack! Crack! Crack!

Hairline fractures spread from the point of impact, webbing across the pagoda’s surface.

The mighty Divine Pagoda could no longer withstand Liu Xi’s fury.
