Ghost Catching System

The guy with glasses froze for a moment, his face turning ugly. Ever since he’d joined the Purple Guard, no one had ever looked down on him like this.

The others were the same. If you could become a Purple Guard, who would be simple?

This newcomer, was he trying to challenge everyone?

Someone said disdainfully, ”You say we should go up, and we just go up? You’re not worth us all attacking together.”

Chu Hao said calmly, ”Doesn’t matter, because I’m the one who’ll be going up.”

With the Sage Master’s Cloak and Sage Robes on his body, Chu Hao hovered in midair, high above everyone, looking down at them as he said, ”You want to play? Fine, I’ll play with you.”

A surge of purple qi blazed around him like flames, and the hundred-meter-tall Colossal Divine Soldier appeared once again.

Chu Hao formed hand seals, and the Colossal Divine Soldier formed hand seals as well, their hand signs in perfect sync.

”What!”

Seeing this scene, Ma Yuan, the guy with glasses, and the others were all shocked.

Such a massive phenomenon, that rolling purple substance—this was definitely Yang Energy condensed. How much Yang Energy did that take?

Moreover, with such a gigantic phenomenon, the wielder could still use it to form seals and cast Yin Yang Secret Technique. Just how terrifying was his Yang Energy?

”Hmph.”

The Colossal Divine Soldier finished its seal, purple thunder spewing from its mouth. A wave of lightning blasted toward the people below.

”Boom!”

”Zraaap.”

Purple lightning exploded. Within a five-hundred-meter radius, everything was swallowed by purple lightning. Roads shattered, flowers and grass turned to ash.

On a distant hill, the female instructor saw this and said with a headache, ”Hey, hey! Isn’t that a bit much? Feels like this is getting out of hand.”

”This brat is the most rule-breaking guy I’ve ever seen.” The driver from before was there too.

The female instructor sighed. ”Aside from those two rules, there basically aren’t any rules here, okay? Looks like this newbie is not to be messed with.”

”Boom!”

Another loud boom, and the battle erupted.

One versus eight.

The Little Chubby Girl formed a hand seal with both hands and shouted, ”Black Belt Technique!”

Instantly, all kinds of black belts appeared around her, like long coiled ropes, wrapping around and entangling the Colossal Divine Soldier. These black belts bore sealing runes and could restrain all sorts of gigantic Shanhai Monsters. No matter how big the Colossal Divine Soldier was, it was the same.

The others sneered. Chu Hao was too arrogant. Which Purple Guard was ever simple?

They watched as Ma Yuan merged with Iron Ghost, becoming neither fully human nor Ghost. In this state, ordinary Body Cultivation experts were trash in front of him.

A Spear appeared, and Ma Yuan suddenly hurled it, the Spear shooting straight toward Chu Hao.

But the Spear couldn’t pierce the body of the Colossal Divine Soldier. It was still quite a distance away from even getting close to Chu Hao.

Chu Hao folded his arms, staring at him coldly.

”This is the Purple Guard? You guys are ridiculously weak.” Chu Hao’s words dripped with mockery.

Ma Yuan gritted his teeth. ”Damn it! You’re looking down on me.”

”Wrong. I don’t even bother looking at you.”

”Ding… Criticizing showoff successful, gained 60,000 Showoff Points.”

Ma Yuan went crazy.

Suddenly, the Earth Veins surged, and an Earth Dragon made of rock, its hundred-meter-long body, lunged at the Colossal Divine Soldier to bite.

”Earth Dragon, kill.”

The guy with glasses held Talisman Papers in his hand—it was his move.

The Colossal Divine Soldier tried to raise its hand to deal with the Earth Dragon, but those black belts were wrapped too tightly.

The Little Chubby Girl’s lips curled into a smile. ”You can’t break out of the black belts. This is my strongest seal.”

It was indeed very hard to break.

However, purple patterns of the Heaven and Earth Curse Mark appeared on the Colossal Divine Soldier’s body, and an extremely terrifying aura erupted.

The next moment, the black belts turned to ash. The Colossal Divine Soldier grabbed the Earth Dragon with one massive hand and tore it in half.

”What?”

Forget the Little Chubby Girl—even the others were dumbfounded, eyes wide.

The female instructor hiding in the dark, and that driver, were both shocked as well.

Controlling such a huge Colossal Divine Soldier should’ve been extremely draining, but Chu Hao was using the traits of the Curse Body to appear on the Colossal Divine Soldier, and on such a large scale at that.

The Colossal Divine Soldier threw a punch. The Little Chubby Girl couldn’t dodge at all. She was just a mortal body—this punch would definitely kill her.

”B–Black… black belt.” The Little Chubby Girl panicked.

A dense web of black belts formed a shield to block it, but they couldn’t withstand the Colossal Divine Soldier’s punch at all.

”Boom.”

The black belts exploded, and the Little Chubby Girl was sent flying, landing a hundred meters away and coughing up blood.

Chu Hao’s face didn’t change. He pressed the advantage while everyone else was in a panic.

The Colossal Divine Soldier drew a long blade. The terrifying blade looked insanely exaggerated as it cleaved down toward the Little Chubby Girl.

The female instructor and the driver rushed out. They were really freaking out now. They blamed themselves for not explaining clearly that this was supposed to be an upperclassmen’s test for the freshman.

But this freshman was far stronger than they’d imagined. If Chu Hao actually killed the Little Chubby Girl, that would be disastrous.

”Stop!” the guy with glasses shouted in alarm.

Ma Yuan’s face went pale. ”Xiao Yun!”

Who could stop this?

In this state, with the Colossal Divine Soldier empowered by the Qiankun Curse Body, who could compete?

The blade swung down, and the Little Chubby Girl squeezed her eyes shut in terror.

But she realized she was fine—the blade had sliced past over her head.

Everyone let out a sigh of relief.

Next, they saw the distant mountain peak. With a loud boom, the blade’s aura swept across it and actually cut the mountain in half.

Everyone’s faces were filled with horror.

The Little Chubby Girl was completely stunned.

In the face of absolute power, it really felt like Yin Yang Secret Technique was useless.

The Little Chubby Girl burst into tears.

”Waaah!”

Death had been way too close just now.

Chu Hao landed on the ground and the Colossal Divine Soldier vanished. He looked at the others who were running over and said, ”From now on, I’m your Boss. Anyone not convinced, come fight me.”

”Ding… Showoff successful, gained 60,000 Showoff Points.”

No one spoke. This newcomer was too domineering.

The guy with glasses took a deep breath. ”You really want to be the Boss?”

”Can’t I?”

The guy with glasses chuckled. ”It’s not that you can’t.”

With that, he said, ”Boss.”

Chu Hao looked at the Little Chubby Girl.

The Little Chubby Girl really did cry from fear. Who was supposed to be intimidating who here? This newcomer was terrifying.

”B–Boss…”

Ma Yuan said helplessly, ”Boss.”

The others looked at each other, shrugged one by one, and said, ”Boss.”

…

In the dorm, Chu Hao had his own room.

Ma Yuan said, ”We’re really letting this guy be our Boss?”

The guy with glasses adjusted his frames and smiled. ”He wants to be, so let him.”

Ma Yuan couldn’t help saying, ”Mu Lin, what’s going on in your head?”

Xiao Yun, the previously chubby Little Chubby Girl, also said, ”Exactly. He’s just a newbie.”

The guy with glasses, Mu Lin, said, ”You really think he can be Boss of the Purple Guard? You know what the Purple Guard is like. Whoever becomes Boss is the unlucky one.”

Ma Yuan thought about it, then laughed. ”True.”

Just then, the dorm door opened. Chu Hao looked at Mu Lin and said, ”Go bring me a basin of water.”

Mu Lin asked in confusion, ”Water? What for?”

Chu Hao said, ”We walked all day. I’m gonna soak my feet. Problem?”

The three of them: ”…”

Damn.

Sure, we acknowledged you as Boss, but are you treating us like servants?

Having us fetch water for you to wash your feet.
