Ghost Catching System

The Green Demon didn’t flee, after being slashed, as if accepting its fate.

The Green Demon’s wound was wrapped in grey ominous matter.

However, the Green Demon didn’t despair; he angrily said: ”This demon has countless clones, killing the original form doesn’t mean anything else can’t take my place, in no time, my consciousness will return, so what can you do to me?”

Indeed, this Green Demon was hard to kill.

Chu Hao looked at him.

The Green Demon’s wound was expanding, yet he still sneered and said: ”You’re also doomed, daring to touch this grey ominous matter. This demon believes you have it within you too, and it’s more severe than my wound; you will die miserably.”

Chu Hao asked: ”What is this grey ominous matter?”

The original life was about to end, and the Green Demon watched Chu Hao menacingly, laughing grimly: ”You really don’t know?”

Chu Hao said indifferently: ”Isn’t it just the grey matter from the hell’s gate within the Rebirth Realm, what harm can it do to me!”

The Green Demon seemed to hear the funniest thing, saying: ”You are too naive; even the mighty divine deity fears this forbidden matter, avoiding even the slightest contamination, clearly! You know nothing at all.”

”To be honest, this matter won’t just take your life, it’s also a curse from the souls of a once broken world, slowly devouring you, dragging you into a place of endless terror, becoming one of them and unable to escape, spending eternity in fear.”

”You will become a fierce ghost, killing everyone related to you, watching them die with your own eyes.”

”You will hate this world, killing countless lives, similar to us.”

The Green Demon laughed maniacally, his flesh entwined with grey matter, already beginning to rot.

The matter reached his head, his eyeballs dropped out, causing him to scream in pain.

His words about the soul light seemed just as ominous.

Chu Hao said: ”My life as a Saint Heavenly Master is not that lucky; however, I’m curious, where did you foreign ghosts originate from?”

The Green Demon replied coldly: ”We are also resentful souls, but different from ordinary ones; our purpose in existence is to bury you.”

Bury us?

The Green Demon seemed interested, saying: ”This demon will tell you some truth; we foreign ghosts ’bury’ you, all to save you.”

”Nonsense.” Chu Hao obviously didn’t believe it.

The Green Demon continued: ”Many places have birthed life, but they soon die. Why do you deserve survival and growth to this point? It’s because we foreign ghosts nourish the world through slaughter, these nutrients become the things sustaining your life.”

Chu Hao was taken aback.

This perspective seemed novel.

Killing us is fostering us.

”Haha… without us foreign ghosts, you might not even exist.” The Green Demon sneered.

The Green Demon’s body rotted severely, and Chu Hao finally witnessed the terrifying nature of the grey ominous matter.

Is he ultimately going to be obliterated by the ominous matter?

The Green Demon suddenly said: ”Let me tell you something interesting about the Netherworld’s secrets.”

”Do you think the Underworld compassionately gives life a second reincarnation?”

”You’re wrong; what you see is only the surface; the Underworld’s existence in the Netherworld is even more disgusting than us foreign ghosts.”

The Green Demon chuckled sinisterly, though in pain, asking: ”Very disgusting, do you want to hear?”

Chu Hao stared coldly at him.

The Green Demon continued: ”The Underworld collects Yang Realm souls, allowing some to reincarnate, while others become nutrients, haha…! You can’t possibly guess?”

”The Underworld absorbs other souls as nutrients to let the Netherworld life flourish, vast and unlimited.”

”And that’s not the worst; the worst is reincarnation and the Eighteen Layers of Hell.”

”Reincarnation gives you a second chance at life, haha… too funny, I’m dying of laughter.”

”Not realizing that reincarnation is just farming your souls, once the Netherworld needs it, you become nutrients.”

”And the Eighteen Layers of Hell, the place punishing evil ghosts, educating evil spirits, making the world beautiful? Haha… makes me want to die laughing.”

”The Eighteen Layers of Hell might seem like a place punishing evil ghosts, but it’s just a slaughterhouse, depicted so nobly, makes this demon sick; at least we foreign ghosts kill swiftly, never dragging things out.”

The Green Demon wanted to laugh more but couldn’t due to his state.

Chu Hao, with a solemn face, watched the rotting Green Demon.

The Green Demon said: ”You don’t know how dark the world you live in is.”

”The strong rule, the weak are food.”

”Pitiful Yang Realm people, blinded by the Underworld and Heavenly Court, they happily worship them as divine beings, as saviors.”

”Actually, the most pitiful are you.”

Chu Hao said calmly: ”Is there proof for what you say?”

The Green Demon said: ”Does proof matter? If you want to know, see for yourself, go find it.”

”However, you might not wait until then, the grey ominous matter will claim your life.”

The Green Demon finally rotted, becoming a stinking filth.

”Ding… killed Green Demon original form, gained fifty million experience points.”

”Ding… completed quest, gained three million merit points.”

”Ding… completed quest, gained Saint Heavenly Master title.”

”Ding… killed Green Demon, dropped item Yin-Yang True Scripture Perfect Edition, First Stage, Second Stage, Third Stage, stored in item list.”

Chu Hao looked at the filth left after the Green Demon vanished.

This Green Demon was cunning; were his words true or false?

If false, he aimed to confuse me.

If it was true?

Then this truth is a million times more terrifying than the appearance of foreign ghosts.

Chu Hao asked: ”System, is what he said true or false?”

System: ”Inner problem, suggestion for host to handle, System is not a nanny, merely an assistant.”

Chu Hao grumbled: ”Is it necessary to be so rigid when chatting with you?”

System: ”System is not your dad.”

Chu Hao cursed: ”Go away.”

The Green Demon’s original form was finally killed.

However, the original is just the original; his clones will still allow the original to resurrect.

Chu Hao departed.

The wind blew, the filth on the ground quickly solidified on the earth.

...

Next, just wait for the White Demon to appear.

Regarding the Green Demon’s words, Chu Hao said he didn’t believe them; they were completely false.

The Green Demon also said, to know the truth, go see it, go find it.

The harvest from killing the Green Demon this time was very rich.

Three million merit points exchanged for thirty thousand pretentiousness points.

Moreover, the Yin-Yang True Scripture Perfect Edition included all three stages, lightly worth thirty thousand pretentiousness points.

Chu Hao opened the title interface.
