Fated To Three, And I Broke Them All

Gigi:

”Come on, Gigi. We both know Verity is innocent. So, if you want me to keep sleeping with Jenna and uphold my end of the deal, you have to promise me you’ll set me up with Verity.”

My brother wasn’t asking.

He was making a deal.

Almost threatening me.

For someone like her.

The thought broke my heart.

I stared at him for a long moment before reluctantly nodding.

”Fine. The deal’s on.”

My brother immediately clapped his hands once and pointed at me with a wide grin, as if to say that this was exactly what he’d expected from me.

At the same time, my heart shattered.

This was exactly what I’d been afraid of.

I couldn’t bear the thought of losing my brother to Verity.

I didn’t want Jaguar, Ragnar, and Theodore to start thinking that it was finally time for me to move on.

A fire burned inside me.

After hearing my brother’s words, I was even angrier.

Even so, I managed to control myself. Right now, picking a fight with Verity wasn’t the right move.

I lay down on my bed for a while.

Just a few more days. After that, Jenna’s parents would come here themselves and take her away.

I smiled to myself as I stared at Ragnar’s pictures on my phone before swiping left to look at his brothers.

They were so fucking good-looking.

I couldn’t imagine what kind of woman had multiple mates.

The more I thought about it, the more irritated I became.

Until now, all I knew was that there had been one woman in the past, many years ago.

But I’d heard she was the Moon Goddess’s daughter.

There was no way the Moon Goddess’s daughter could be luckier than me.

The Alpha Kings loved me. They cared about me so much.

But when would their love finally turn into romance?

I pouted before hearing a knock on the door.

”What is it?” I called, thinking it was my maid.

I hated my maids. They were so fucking annoying, to be honest.

Sometimes I wondered where I could find a good maid.

Someone who would understand what to do and when to do it.

”Come on, it’s Rochelle. Open the door. I need to speak with you,” Rochelle called from the other side, making me get off the bed and walk to the door.

That was odd.

She never came to see me like this.

I opened the door and pouted as I found her standing in front of me with a deeply annoyed expression.

”What’s going on?” I asked, letting her inside.

She stormed in and planted both hands on her waist, looking me over.

She was wearing a very low-cut top and a very short skirt.

I absolutely hated clothes like that.

I considered them cheap and unclassy.

But of course, I couldn’t say anything to her. It was her life.

Not everyone was like me, and I didn’t expect them to be.

Everyone had their own sense of class.

”Okay, will you stop looking at me like that and tell me what the fuck happened?” I said with a sigh as I sat back down on the bed and checked my phone.

”What’s going on?” she asked, sitting down in front of me on the bed.

She kept watching my face, waiting for me to say something.

”I don’t know. You tell me what’s going on. I have no clue what made you barge in here looking so upset,” I replied, scrolling through my social media feed.

”Why am I finding out that not only is there a woman named Jenna living with the Alpha King brothers, but you’ve also moved in Verity with them?”

As soon as she spoke so harshly, I realized she had found out about the recent events at the mansion.

But that was exactly what annoyed me.

I slowly lowered my phone and gave her a cheeky smile.

”How the heck do you know what’s going on at the mansion?”

That was my way of showing her I wasn’t happy that she knew.

If she knew me at all, she would know I hated anyone poking their nose into the brothers’ private affairs.

”So my father and mother went to the Alpha Kings’ mansion to ask for their help. That’s when they found out what was going on. They told me there was a gorgeous young woman hanging around the Alpha King brothers. And they also found out from the maids that another woman had moved into the left wing. So tell me again, what is going on, Gigi?” she demanded, tears forming in her eyes as though I had broken a promise.

”Jenna is their family friend. She’ll definitely be staying, so there’s nothing we can do. Grandma loves her. As for Verity, well, you know Ragner’s health declined. There was a scare, and I wanted him to rest. Besides, I brought her in so Jaguar wouldn’t have to keep dropping her off and picking her up.”

As soon as I said that, I watched a frown crease her forehead.

”Why would Jaguar do that?” she demanded, still sounding annoyed and unconvinced.

”Because Grandma Lucille wants Verity to plan a special birthday party for Jenna,” I replied with a sigh.

Then I rolled my shoulders back and settled into a more comfortable position, preparing myself for what was coming.

”I know what you want, and I told you I’ll do everything I can for you. Of course, you’re the one I want him to be with, not that other bitch, or any other bitch. But you have to be patient with me. Not while Grandma Lucille is here. I can’t go against her.”

I tried to make her understand how things worked at the Stone Mansion.

There were too many other factors involved now.

Things were getting out of my hands, and I needed her to understand that.

”Anyway, as for Jenna, don’t worry about her.”

I unlocked a video on my phone to show her what kind of a woman Jenna exactly was.
