Fated To Three, And I Broke Them All

Gigi:

I wasn’t sure how, but I was so fucking good at it that whatever trap I set, Jenna walked right into it.

I kept dropping bait, and she took it every time.

I would casually slip ideas into our conversations, making it seem like I was just talking for the sake of it.

But I knew she was holding on to everything I said, taking it all very seriously.

Which was why I kept going.

And, well, it worked.

That idiot actually took it seriously.

She asked me for a sleeping pill, and, well, I already had something in my bag.

So I pretended to go get it for her.

When I came back, I handed her the pill.

Everything was settled on Jenna’s side.

Now I had to prepare the other side.

”What? What’s with this mask?” Oliver asked, staring at the black mask adorned with black feathers.

It was the one I’d given Theodore before taking it back, telling him I only gave it for the prank.

”Oliver, how many times do I have to tell you? You have to act like Theodore tonight. It’ll be too dark in the hall for anyone to notice anyway.”

I reminded him not to fuck it up.

I knew exactly where the party was being held.

I was going to sneak Jenna in and have her meet Oliver.

But in her mind, he would be Theodore.

”As if she wouldn’t recognize my voice.”

Oliver grunted and shook his head, refusing to be a part of it.

”I thought she’d come with me willingly,” he argued.

I sat in the living room with one hand pressed against my forehead, sighing at my brother’s stupidity and his complete inability to help me with anything.

Meanwhile, he paced back and forth anxiously.

”She won’t recognize you. By then, I’ll have gotten her to drink a glass or two. Don’t worry,” I assured him.

”Don’t you want to take her virginity?” I asked.

He slowed to a stop, turned around, and looked at me.

”Well— if she wants to give me her virginity,” he replied, a smirk appearing on his lips.

”Don’t worry. She will. Just change your voice. You’re playing a character.”

I held up the mask as I spoke.

He stared at it, rolled his eyes, then walked over and snatched it from my hand.

”Do you suppose there’ll be a room booked for us?” he asked, grabbing the long black coat I’d brought for him.

”You two won’t be sleeping together in a hotel room,” I muttered, avoiding his gaze because the moment I said that, I knew he’d start looking at me for an explanation.

”There’s a river in the woods. Right beside it, I’ll have a beautiful evening planned. You just need to make sure you do her in the river,” I whispered, goosebumps rising across my skin as the words left my mouth.

I could only imagine what my brother was thinking.

He studied my face in silence before walking over and sitting across from me on the couch.

”What exactly are you up to, Gigi?” he asked quietly, concern evident in his voice.

”You don’t need to know. Just know that your sister’s entire life and future depend on this. Please do me this favor, and afterward, you can ask me for anything,” I pleaded, reaching over to hold his hand and giving it a reassuring squeeze.

”Anything?” he repeated.

I raised an eyebrow, wondering what it was my brother wanted so badly that he was willing to do something so fucked up.

”Anything,” I confirmed.

But now we were both watching each other with suspicion.

Just as we had planned, I went back to the mansion after Jenna had put everyone to sleep.

Jaguar and Theodore were out drinking with their friends.

I knew their routine.

On every full moon, they went out partying.

Every full moon, I was terrified they would find their mates.

But this marked the last full moon they would spend looking for their mates.

After this, things were going to change.

At least for Theodore.

We spent the next few minutes quickly curling Jenna’s hair.

I put lipstick on her, and then we were on our way.

The moment we got into the car, I watched her take a deep breath, as if she’d never stepped outside those four walls after dinner.

Well, she had no idea.

There was so much more waiting for her tonight.

As the journey began, I noticed she kept cracking her knuckles.

She was constantly anxious.

She kept pulling her dress up to cover her cleavage.

She had beautiful, round breasts.

Nothing too small, nothing too big.

Just perfect.

Just like mine.

But, well, mine were meant for the Alpha King brothers.

As for her, sadly, she’d never get the Alpha King to taste her.

Not after tonight.

Once we arrived at the party, I slipped her inside.

She was already overwhelmed by the sight of so many people wearing masks.

I noticed the way she stared at everyone’s faces, studying them far too intently.

”Come on. Have a drink and relax,” I coaxed, handing her a glass.

She accepted it anxiously.

At this point, I knew she really wanted to be in my good books.

She wanted to be part of my circle.

Someone who wasn’t a party pooper.

So, well, I wasn’t pressuring her or anything.

She was simply giving in to the peer pressure herself.

The moment she finished her first drink, I looked around and spotted Oliver standing by one of the counters.

I didn’t need to look twice.

He looked nothing like Theodore.

I recognized him only by his lips.

The rest of his face was hidden behind the mask.

But Jenna wouldn’t notice.

She was already looking around as if the drink was starting to go to her head.

”There he is,” I said, pointing toward the counter.

Jenna followed my gaze, then narrowed her eyes.

I was afraid she was studying him a little too closely.

”Are you sure?” she asked, making my heart skip a beat.

I glanced down at my phone.

”Yeah, yeah. He just texted me. That’s him,” I lied, pointing toward Oliver.

”Go, go, go,” I urged, gently pushing her toward him.

She turned to me, and I noticed how frightened she looked.

”You know what? Just have one more shot. Just one more, and you’ll feel much more relaxed. Remember, this is your only chance to impress him.”

I handed her another drink and watched her chug it down.

The things people do for love.

I mean, who would know that better than I would?
