Giant Dragon Lord: Starting from Daily Intelligence

Chapter 467: Chapter 381: The ”Little Guy” Territory Conquered by Raylo

Raylo didn’t let the standoff drag on. With a flip of his wrist, a massive object materialized out of thin air and crashed to the ground with a THUD.

It was a colossal Wolf Fang Club, ten meters long, forged entirely from Refined Iron, its head covered in vicious spikes.

In the dim light of the stone house, the club’s shaft reflected a cold, deep metallic luster. Each spike was polished to an incredible sharpness, possessing a kind of violent beauty.

This was the standard-issue Weapon that the smiths of Black Stone Territory custom-made for Hill Giants below the Domain Level.

”Wuba Tribe Leader, in addition to guaranteeing ample food for every member of your tribe...”

Raylo said.

”As a thank you, I will provide every Giant Warrior who joins the battle with a fine Weapon like this as payment.”

Wuba’s gaze was instantly drawn to the Wolf Fang Club.

He slowly rose, walked over to the Weapon, and reached out with a rough, massive hand to grip its handle.

It was heavy in his grasp, its texture cold and hard.

He knocked on the shaft with his knuckles, producing a crisp, metallic ringing.

As the tribe leader, he had heard the stories about Carlo and Kado in the Giant City-State. The two young Giants had apparently become the hottest topic of conversation there.

After a long moment, Wuba put down the Wolf Fang Club and looked at Raylo again.

”How many Warriors do you need?”

”All of them.”

Raylo’s answer was crisp and decisive.

Though Raylo spoke of hiring them, his real plan was to pack up Wuba’s entire tribe and take them away.

As long as Wuba agreed to help, once they reached Black Stone Territory, there were plenty of ways to make the Giants stay.

Wuba was clearly taken aback. He furrowed his brow, a little surprised and a little skeptical.

”All of them? Our tribe has over a hundred Giants. Although all of them can fight, men and women alike, if you just need help in battle, I suggest you only pick a few dozen of our best fighters!”

Wuba advised, then voiced his concerns.

”Besides, getting over a hundred Weapons like this won’t be easy. What’s more, feeding over a hundred Giants is no small feat.”

This was precisely the question Raylo had been waiting for.

He laughed heartily and delivered his prepared speech.

”You needn’t worry, Wuba Tribe Leader. Kado and I have conquered a territory of ’Little Guys’.”

He pointed to Kado beside him.

Kado understood immediately. He puffed out his chest, wearing an expression that said, ’That’s right!’

Raylo continued.

”The ’Little Guys’ there are very good at farming and hunting. They can provide the Giants with an endless supply of food. Plus, they are also skilled smiths. Providing a Weapon and armor for every Warrior in the tribe, just like the one you see here, will be no problem at all.”

He painted a very tempting picture.

Kado grinned beside him and added in his booming voice,

”That’s right! We Giants just have to be in charge of fighting! All the other troublesome stuff can be left to those Little Guys!”

As soon as he said this, Ug, who had been holding back and not daring to speak, felt his eyes light up.

’Just fighting?’

’Endless meat?’

’And fine Weapons?’

’This...’

’Isn’t this the life I’ve always dreamed of!’

Wuba Tribe Leader fell silent.

He looked at Carlo, then at Kado, whose expression showed he was telling the truth, and finally glanced at his own son, who was so excited he looked ready to jump for joy.

He could find no reason to refuse this offer.

Finally, the old tribe leader slowly nodded.

”Alright,”

he said.

”Seven days from now...”

Raylo and Wuba came to an agreement.

”Please have your tribe ready, Wuba Tribe Leader. I will come then to escort you to my territory.”
