Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4547: Absolutely and Unequivocally! II

Noah’s expression became considerably heavier at these words. His existence continued to buzz with developing power as THE Organ of Civilization had just passed nine percent development and continued breaking down the concentrated authority he had gained.

The possibility he had just conceived was not immediately achievable. The gap between his current state and what would be required was vast.

He turned toward THE Living Origin, almost as if he wanted to give additional information. And as if she sensed this...she shook her head firmly before he could voice out anything.

”Focus on assimilating the gains you have already made,” she said. ”Take in as much of the pure ambient authority in these surroundings as you can manage. After you properly solidify your existence at Pre-THE status, we will need to leave this domain.”

At these words, Noah frowned. He had wanted to continue exploring deeper into the Node, to absorb more and more Sovereignties from the Imprisoned THE entities. The potential for growth here was extraordinary.

And yet...

THE Living Origin’s expression became extremely serious as she delivered her reasoning.

”As beneficial as this place may appear for your advancement, you absolutely cannot remain here,” she said with weight. ”Because you are currently trespassing in someone’s home. And this someone will be passing by very soon.”

Her white-gold eyes locked onto his with intensity.

”THE Creature will pass by this location soon. And you absolutely and unequivocally cannot meet THE Creature. Not now. Not here.”

BOOM!

The words alone carried enough weight to shake reality.

He was a trespasser, and the owner of this prison-home would be returning soon.

The implications were immediately terrifying. Lumivara began trembling violently and grabbed Noah’s hands with desperate grip, as if pleading silently that they should leave even now without delay!

But Noah kept his eyes locked on the unfathomable gaze of THE Living Origin as a critical question formed in his mind.

Why could he absolutely not meet THE Creature?

What would happen if that encounter occurred?

The answers remained unspoken, but the urgency in her tone suggested the consequences would be catastrophic!

---

Some meetings were fortuitous, opening pathways to elevation and unforeseen opportunities.

Some meetings were deadly, leading directly to collapse and oblivion.

Often times, it was extraordinarily difficult to distinguish which type of meeting one was walking into until it was far too late to change course.

The difference between elevation and collapse could hinge on a single moment of decision.

Far from the Infinite Unfurling, separated by unfathomable distances of time and space, in the current era where threats mounted from multiple directions...

In The Early Veiled Shore, within the Cultivation Citadel that Noah had established as a foundation for growth...

A battle raged with intensity that shook the very foundations of the contained world.

Leonore Rureaux and Riya clashed with tremendous force, both adorned in the Civilizational Armors of their Hungering Maw Specialization. The armors gleamed with concentrated authority!

Leonore’s body was surrounded by an obsidian-blue light representing Paradox fueled by Mana, creating distortions in space around her movements. Her attacks bent probability itself, making strikes land from impossible angles.

Riya’s body seethed with pure Primus Mana shining blue-gold with overwhelming potency. Her movements were precise and devastatingly efficient, each strike backed by the foundational authority that Noah himself wielded.

And in this duel, Riya was absolutely dominating, even in the elevated pressure!

She moved like a force of nature given human form. Her fist filled with seas of mana connected with Leonore’s guard and sent her flying backwards through a pristine forest. Trees shattered like matchsticks as Leonore’s armored form carved a destructive path through the landscape.

Riya pursued without hesitation, appearing above Leonore’s trajectory and driving her down into a mountainside with a devastating flurry of chained flaming swords of Primus Mana. The mountain cracked and crumbled under the impact!

BOOM!

Leonore rolled to her feet and attempted a counterattack, manipulating paradox to make her strike exist in multiple timelines simultaneously. But Riya simply flooded the area with so much Primus Mana that probability itself became irrelevant under the weight of foundational authority.

Another exchange sent Leonore tumbling across a vast lake, her armored form skipping like a stone before crashing into the opposite shore. The water evaporated from the sheer heat of their clashing powers.

”Okay, okay! That is enough!” Leonore finally called out with breathless frustration, raising her hand in surrender while lying in a crater of her own making.

She looked up at Riya who descended calmly to stand nearby.

”Why the hell does it seem like you are venting out your frustrations by bullying me?” Leonore asked with confusion mixed with exasperation.

Riya’s Civilizational Armor melded back inside her small petite body with fluid motion, revealing her figure adorned in simple blue bloomers and a blue tank top. She breathed out slowly with visible effort to calm herself before nodding with acknowledgment.

”I am very frustrated,” she said. ”I have never hated anything more than I currently hate THE Living Elemental. I just finally got together with the Ancestor, and that flaming fucker puts out a curse causing him excruciating pain every single second?”

Her voice carried genuine fury at the injustice.

Leonore Rureaux raised her brows while pushing herself into a sitting position. Her own expression became more understanding as she responded.

”My lover just rescued me from a prison in the Heart of Origin that I had been trapped in for years,” she said, ”And now we are actively hunting him down because it turned out he was the Vessel of THE Living Paradox this entire time. You really want to play the complaining game with me right now?”

...!

”...”

The words hung between them with heavy implications!

Riya’s expression softened slightly before she replied.

”At least you had been with your lover for some substantial time before complications arose,” she said. ”I had been dreaming about the Ancestor for so long. He only just began giving me the love and attention I wanted, and that elemental fucker immediately goes and ruins everything.”

She paused before adding with intensity.

”Ah, it makes me want to fight something until it collapses!”

Her eyes pulsed with challenge as she looked at Leonore before sighing with resignation.

”Hoo... come on, let us not wallow in self-pity,” she said while adjusting her stance. ”Let us go again and work out these frustrations productively.”

Her eyes began pulsing with beams of concentrated blue-gold light as she prepared to resume their combat training.

Leonore smiled with wry amusement and was about to shake her head in polite refusal when something unexpected occurred.

Her eyes suddenly trembled as shock flooded across her features.

Riya’s playful demeanor vanished instantly as she turned completely serious.

”What?” she demanded with sharp focus. ”What just happened?”

Leonore Rureaux’s voice emerged in a daze as she spoke words that seemed difficult to process.

”Schrodinger...just reached out to me,” she said with disbelief coloring every syllable. ”Schrodinger himself, not THE Living Paradox wearing his weavings. His actual intent. His genuine will. Him as an individual consciousness!”

...!
