Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4533: The Distraught and The Defiant! II

Lumivara had revealed a shocking piece of information through her observation.

The reason Noah was able to freely absorb the surrounding atmosphere was potentially due to his own grand Way and how it related to everything as foundational authority. And through their connection, Lumivara was benefiting from the same principle.

There was clearly much to learn about this place and exactly how much of an opportunity all of this represented. But before he could truly delve into investigation and exploration...

BOOM!

Space behind them squeezed and compressed violently before spitting something else through the frequency barrier.

The visage of none other than Stellara appeared with an expression of absolute fury written across her luminous features. Her eyes locked onto Noah and Lumivara with murderous intent that needed no verbal expression!

Lumivara immediately moved to hide behind Noah’s transformed body, her earlier confidence evaporating in the face of this overwhelming threat.

But at this moment, Noah did not run from the Pre-THE Existence. Nor did he erupt with any defensive authority or prepare offensive measures.

He simply looked at the figure before him with calm analytical assessment as a thought occurred to him.

Pre-THE was still partly at the level of THE, correct? The designation itself suggested they had one foot in that realm even if not fully established.

Which meant...

A moment after he had such a thought, the figure of Stellara opened her mouth to begin bellowing threats and condemnation.

But in the next instant, something shocking occurred.

HUUM!

Space above her seemingly squeezed and compressed with invisible force. In a shocking flow of events that Stellara had anticipated, the glorious and deadly authority that composed this Pre-THE being’s power began to be forcefully drawn out of her body!

Her Sovereignty was being absorbed directly into the surrounding atmosphere.

Stellara’s eyes widened with horror as she felt her carefully cultivated authority being stripped away without her consent or ability to resist.

And Noah watched with cold eyes as the domain did exactly what the prompts had warned it would do!

It trapped and concentrated authority at the level of THE.

And apparently, it did not distinguish between fully established THE entities and those who were deemed as Pre-THE!

Oh!

Losing one’s power... was never something to take lightly.

It was akin to a billionaire watching their portfolio and seeing hundreds of millions rapidly evaporating every second without being able to do anything to stop the hemorrhaging losses.

It was akin to a king who ruled multiple continents watching his dominion being carved apart and taken by foreign conquerors, as his harem of women was divided among different victors as spoils of war.

It was absolutely not a pleasant experience under any circumstances.

And Stellara felt this reality with crushing intimacy at this precise moment as Noah observed her shockingly losing her designation as a Pre-THE Existence.

His perceptive eyes analyzed the situation rapidly as on her status sheet, he actually witnessed her Current Sovereignty Progress that had been at 12.7% toward THE Surface Depth of Absolute Sovereignty begin to rapidly decrease. It only slowed its decline after dropping below the 10% threshold.

And then, on her status sheet, her designation actually lost the Pre-THE Existence classification entirely!

Ten percent.

Was this the marker that one had to surpass toward THE Surface Depth of Absolute Sovereignty before they could be considered a Pre-THE Existence? A hard boundary that separated the truly progressed from those merely attempting the path?

And did this also equate to the same percentage threshold that he had observed for the completion of THE Organ of Civilization? If he reached 10% completion with it, he would be considered a Pre-THE Existence?

He filed these observations away in the back of his mind for further contemplation later. For now, he looked at the figure of Stellara who appeared as if she had lost her very heart and soul.

And truly, she had lost something equivalently devastating.

Her Way that she had worked so extraordinarily hard to cultivate had effectively been reduced to a fraction of its former power by this domain’s mechanisms.

And now, even though she was still unfathomably more powerful than Noah in raw statistics...

Noah began walking toward her with measured steps as his eyes flashed with an extremely tyrannical and quintessential light.

”Hey, it looks like you have run into some rather unfortunate circumstances,” he said with dark satisfaction coloring his words. ”Allow me to lend you a helping hand in your time of need.”

As he spoke with false sympathy, he burned another Rudimentary Unit of Everything. His existence began to radiate profound and glorious luster as THE True Expression of The Sovereignty of Mana and Hunger activated once more, and after the revent advancement of THE Organ of Civilization, this state felt stronger than ever!

He...was truly getting stronger!

He threw his hand back in a familiar motion and formed a tyrannical purple spear of concentrated lightning. Without hesitation, he hurled it toward the distraught Stellara who had just lost a catastrophic chunk of her carefully cultivated power.

Take care of this enemy first, and then he could fully enjoy and explore this terrifying place that he had stumbled into by fortunate accident. This place that bore the name of THE Creature in its very designation!

---

The past was the past and the present was the present.

The changes made in the past would not manifest their effects in the future until the one making these alterations actually returned to their original timeline.

Because as of this moment, nothing was truly set in stone. If an entity traveled into the past and perished there, one could legitimately wonder how the paradox of temporal causality would be resolved. When it came to time and its manipulation, there were far too many intricacies and variables to account for.

But at this moment, an unfathomably far distance of time past the Infinite Unfurling, in the current era that Noah had originated from...

In a domain that could not be found in The Folds or The Wandering Territories. In a space between spaces where normal rules of reality did not fully apply.

In that unique domain where the figures of Sigrid and Noah used to sit beside one another on opposite sides of the veil, there now remained only THE Dead Order and Sigrid!
