Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3859: Early Veiled Shore II

The mist curled gently against Noah’s feet as if the land itself exhaled through soft fog.

The sky above the Budding Shore was quiet and unfathomably peaceful in this primitive primal looking landscape!

He stood still for a long moment, his gaze fixed on the gently rippling waves of the Early Sacred Water. The clarity of it was unreal. It shimmered with hues of pale sapphire and translucent silver, each ripple reflecting back not just light or beauty, but waves of immeasurable existence.

His eyes narrowed.

He reached out with his will.

A thin hum of his authority pulsed forth- Living Existential Authority wrapped in the frequencies of Wrath, of Paradox, and of Infinity itself. Normally, this would be more than enough to reshape swatches of existence.

And yet...

BZZT!

The water didn’t budge.

A single line of white text bloomed in the air before him.

The Early Sacred Water of the Budding Shore cannot be altered or influenced by authority, with actions needing to be taken manually.

...!

His brows lifted.

Even with everything he had become, after everything he had shattered and remade, this place still demanded simplicity. He let out a soft breath, and for the first time in a while, he smiled. It was a quiet smile. A recognition of the absurdity and... humility, in this.

Behind him, a soft rustle stirred the sand near the shore. The Infiniverse Body knelt beside him. Her features glowed with a luminous silver hue, her hair flowing like multicolored rivers of molten existence.

She didn’t speak initially as she just stared at the radiant waters with him.

Then, softly....

”Throughout this whole Early Veiled Shore, authority does not seem to affect it much. Not its water... sands... or anything else.”

Her voice was calm and almost reverent. But beneath it, a note of surprise lingered. Of understanding dawning in silence.

”This place,” she said, more to herself now, ”even though it bloomed within me and sits at the centee of the Wheel... it feels like something immensely isolated. Deeply connected to you.”

Noah said nothing for a heartbeat. Then, slowly, he nodded.

He dipped his hands into the water, cool and bright, cupping it until it filled his palms with a soft glow.

Since he could not use an authority to draw it, he would do it manually!

And so, he raised his hands up and drank.

...!

And...

HUUM!

It was not just a taste, it was immersion! The moment the water touched his lips, a current of fire and frost alike flowed down his throat. It passed through him as if seeping into his very weavings of existence as his very Lineage hummed.

He gasped softly.

You have consumed 100 Units of the Early Sacred Water. Your Early Living Towers of Origin drink up its nourishment of extreme purity and expand in their growth rapidly.

His eyes fluttered shut as he felt it.

A bloom. No, a surge!

His purity rose like a sun breaking over a frozen horizon, sharp and blinding. The complexity within his Towers surged madly, Lattices shifting like living constellations, growing in density and strength!

”This is...” he whispered, his voice trailing in disbelief. ”Mad.”

It was more than what the Paradoxical Dyson Singularity had granted. That had been dense with Living Paradoxical Authority, layered and strange...but this?

This was clean. Sharp. Pure.

And the water was just the beginning.

Another prompt rose before his eyes, clean and white against the misty air.

Having consumed the Early Sacred Water, you have gained the knowledge that within the shore, Early Living Marine Lifeforms occasionally appear. If you are capable of catching one, their nourishment can range from 100x to 1,000,000x more potent than the nourishment of the Sacred Water itself. Early Creatures used to fish in Early Veiled Shores to build up their purity and complexity.

As a Budding Shore, the frequency and rarity of Early Living Marine Lifeforms appearing is low.

...!

Another ridiculous set of prompts bloomed m!

He stared into the depths, now aware of what could stir beneath.

Fish that could make this water seem like child’s play as it stated...if one was capable of catching one!

Just by stepping into this land, one became a Living Existence as they would have Originus Venerant level power just from drinking its Sacred Water.

And even such beings...may not be capable of catching the fish in these waters?

It made Noah curious of what would come out!

A deep hum of amusement stirred in his chest. Because he knew what he’d become. He knew what he was now capable of.

He closed his eyes once more, and with a single thought, brought forth his own internal status panel that changed ever so often.

He opened his eyes slowly.

He felt glorious.

He felt mighty!

The wonder of having multiple True Sources would only show itself more and more over time as while other Originus Venerant entities had a million or a few million Existential Dimensional Lattices, he had over 100 million and counting, and he would spill over 150 Million soon enough.

If he faced another common Originus Venerant entity...

If he were to meet Master Hannibal now... or even another Originus Venerant who lacked a Foldless identity...?

He would not just merely fight.

He would erase!

His fingers curled loosely at his side.

Not out of arrogance. Not out of pride.

But out of an ever-deepening understanding of what he was becoming.

The thought came unbidden, smooth as the mist.

He was once a man trying to understand Existence.

Now, he was the paradox threading its center!
