Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3852: Early V

Silence.

A long, heavy silence.

And yet, around the Infiniverse Crucible, the Hymns still rang.

Majestic.

Terrifying.

The towers Noah had birthed, each of them grander than Omniverses, continued to sing. Their voices were endless, filled with complexity and purpose.

But for the first time since the Festival of Existence began...

Noah Osmont did not move.

The aura of an Early Creature still burned gloriously around him- glorious, unrelenting, vast- but his figure sat utterly still.

His golden eyes, now deeper than abyssal wells, stared forward with a calmness that was more dangerous than any fury.

Because in that stillness, there was absence.

Ruination...was gone.

And not in the way she’d been before. Not into ash, not into light, not into the glory of the Wheel’s Breaking.

Gone.

There was no pull on the bond they shared. No connection to trace and pull from!

No hum of her existence!

No trace of her Signature, no vibration of her mythos in the Records of hus weavings.

She had vanished, and the link between them had severed.

”...”

Just like that.

HUUM...

A low, tremulous reverberation echoed from Noah’s body. His weavings, already unquantifiable, began to shimmer. The complexity and purity within him surged like boiling tides, his Towers pulsing in unison as the Hymns grew louder.

Around him, the Infiniverse was silent.

Her radiant face, usually majestic or proud, bore no expression now. Her multicolored crystalline hair flowed behind her in stillness as she floated beside him.

And like him, she was staring at the same place.

The spot where Ruination once stood.

Seconds trickled by.

No glimmer. No ash. No flicker of a broken wheel.

Only... nothing.

Only absence.

And that made it worse.

Noah’s thoughts stirred, slow and heavy.

Deep within, he remembered something.

A whisper of a prophecy from his own mouth, not long ago.

”Beware the day when Death sings in living tongues. On that day, the Foldless Ones shall stir, Those neither bound by Life nor caged by Death.

Their names will not be remembered, for they were never written. Their weavings cannot be unspun. Their will cannot be undone.

In the end, the Thread that was favored shall not be the one that remains. But the Thread that learned to twist itself.

The Gravewake shall open. The Nine Breakings shall echo. And in the silence after the final fall, only a single note shall endure, Not a sound, but a choice.”

”...”

He had spoken those words as prophecy.

He had lived many of them already.

But now...

”The Nine Breakings shall echo...”

Noah’s voice came low, like a judgment as he looked around.

And yet...

No echo returned.

No answer.

No Ruination.

Only the maddening, hellish quiet in the wake of her final cry!

—

Far beyond the Nullvein Gravewake Folds.

Across existences and beyond conceptual distance...

The Transcendent Origin Folds.

A place few would ever glimpsed.

A sanctum woven from the earliest strands of Beginning. Here, overlapping folds of white brilliance sprawled like veils across an endless sky.

Fantastical landmasses, floating Omniversal continents- drifted across immense, radiant wheels of existence that shone beneath them, gliding through the firmament like ghostly ships on an unseen sea.

And above them, rivers of white-gold clouds meandered in silence, winding across light years.

Peace.

Stillness.

Until...

BOOM!

A blinding burst of crimson-gold light seared across the horizon of white.

One of the floating continents quaked, the endless lake of Living Origin Authority it held rippling violently.

From the depths of this lake, a form stirred.

A majestic being.

A Living Origin.

She was feline in visage, coated in immaculate white fur that shimmered like starlight. Four pairs of wings unfurled behind her, each one longer than mountains.

Her massive tail flowed gently in the wind of origin, and nine halos- each one the color of dawn- revolved slowly around her in perfect symmetry.

She blinked her ethereal silver-blue eyes.

And turned toward the light.

Her fur stood on edge. Her wings stilled.

Across the boundary of distance and fold, she saw it.

Nine massive crimson-gold pillars rising.

A Tower forming.

An Origin Tower.

But... it was not like any other.

”W-what Living Origin...” she whispered with surprise. ”What Living Origin is being born with such dense weavings of endings...?!”

...!

No Living Origin had such a hymn.

And yet...

HUUM!

It echoed.

A voice from the Mythic Living True Signatures that emerged to support the new Tower.

A single line that boomed out and repeated!

”I. Herald. His. Coming.”

HUUM!

The Living Origin stood from the lake. Her wings flared.

A second line followed, heavier.

”I Herald His Coming.”

And then...

”I Herald His Ruin.”

...!

BOOM!

[Existential Intermission #2]

Subject: Festivals of Existence

Classification: Mythohistorical Living Existential Phenomenon

Verified Source: Records of the Distinction of Early Creatures

Description: A Festival of Existence is a rare and existential phenomenon that occurs when multiple Early Living Towers of Origin harmonize within a shared spatial Fold, catalyzed by the aura of one or more Early Creatures. This convergence gives rise to impossible growth in Complexity and Purity for all nearby Existences. Hymns from each Tower form the spiritual and metaphysical foundation of the event, creating a domain where the weave of existence itself vibrates in acceleration.

Immediate Effects:

Complexity & Purity Surge:

Growth of Complexity and Purity for those entangled with the Early Creature(s) increases by 1,000,000%.

Region-wide growth of Complexity and Purity across the Fold surges by 100,000%.

Existential Mutation:

Entangled beings have a chance to undergo mutation at the existential level. These changes can result in the sprouting of a Living Seed of Existence, capable of maturing into a full Living Existence (Paradox, Elemental, Origin, etc.).

Manifestation – Early Living Panaceas of Existence: During the Festival, unique relics known as Early Living Panaceas may spontaneously bloom near individuals closest to the Early Creature. These are not items, but embodied concepts made tangible. They are unforgeable and unchangeable- only found during a Festival.

Some rare types include:

Heartroot Panacea: Allows one to temporarily bind to a Tower of Origin they did not forge, absorbing fragments of its Hymn and Authority as they begin devouring it.

Infinitide Elixir: A liquid concept that, when consumed, generates a singularity within the user’s being, replicating the complexity structure of a Tower of Origin and beginning to mirror that to one’s own.

Paracausal Tear: Grants a one-time rewrite of an Inevitability associated with one’s Existence, allowing one to defy a fixed outcome.

Choir Seed: A Panacea that sings the Hymn of a Tower not yet formed, revealing a potential future True Source that does not yet exist but could be claimed.

Cultural Reverence & Ritual Practices:

In ancient records, Living Existences who were exposed to Festivals created rituals to honor the Early Creatures that varied in many ways. Some are:

Towerbound Prostration: A sacred kneeling performed before newly born Early Creature to align one’s fate with their existential frequency, hoping to be bound to them.

Harvesting the Breath: A controlled breathing ritual performed in groups to absorb ambient Living Existential Authority for lineage refinement and expansion.

Mythic Chant Reflection: A meditative act of mentally repeating the Hymns heard, said to etch new pathways of Complexity into one’s Tower of Origin.

Entire civilizations and Living Existences once bloomed solely from the aftermath of a single Festival, rising to prominence as different Living Existences- societies built upon the mutated truths granted by the Echo of a Festival.
