Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

What made Ye Jian happy was that An Jiaxin called the day before the May holidays. She said that she and T6 would be getting engaged during the May holidays and asked if she had the time to attend their engagement party.

It would take place at T6’s hometown.

T6’s hometown… was in the city where the National Science University was located. Ye Jian was here now, but she wouldn’t be here during the May holidays.

Ye Jian, who was packing her luggage halfway, ran out to answer the call. She was extremely surprised by their engagement, but… she couldn’t be there to wish them well.

She said helplessly, ”Jiaxin, before I answered your call, I was packing my luggage in the dormitory. I’ll be leaving for a certain mountain area for training at 11:00 pm tonight. I really want to attend your engagement ceremony with Wu Yue, but I’m sorry, Jiaxin. My time doesn’t allow me to go.”

On the other side, An Jiaxin covered the phone and said to her boyfriend, Wu Yue, who was lying on top of her as if he had gone limp. ”Jian doesn’t have time to attend our engagement ceremony. She’s going out for training.”

Wu Yue was hugging his future wife openly now. Hearing that, he replied to An Jiaxin with a knowing expression. ”Based on my understanding, even though students from ordinary universities are really on holiday, students from the military school are not. Just like you, you got to come back two days early.

”As for the military school’s holidays, other than the winter and summer vacations, some students will have holidays. The rest of the holidays are fake. It’s normal for them not to get days off.”

An Jiaxin sighed in disappointment. She changed her tone to a disapproving one and said playfully into the phone, ”I knew you wouldn’t have the time. Forget it. For the sake of our many years of friendship, I’ll forgive you if you say a few auspicious words and make me happy.”

Auspicious words? That was simple!

”I wish you a hundred years of happiness and that you’ll grow old with each other. May you have a happy life… Give birth to a child soon!”

After saying a long string of auspicious words, Wu Yue loved the part when she said that they would birth to a child soon. He, who had been listening silently, finally made a sound. ”I’ll accept your blessings and give birth to a child soon!”

Ye Jian heard Wu Yue’s voice and immediately said, ”Wu Yue, I’m warning you as Jiaxin’s good friend. If you dare to treat Jiaxin badly, I’ll be the first to not let you off.”

”Hahaha, you should say this to Jiaxin. I don’t dare to treat her badly. I’m just short of worshipping her now. If you see my slave-like face, you’ll definitely despise me.”

Wu Yue didn’t take the phone. He rested his chin on Jiaxin’s shoulder and laughed happily. ”Jiaxin is still studying. The parents of our families are discussing getting engaged first. On the same day Jiaxin graduates, we’ll get our marriage certificate. This is called double happiness!”

Getting their marriage certificate after Jia Xin graduated was indeed a double blessing.

Now, including G3, there were two pairs of married couples in the team this year.

Ye Jian regretted not being able to make it in time for G3’s wedding. This time, she had to miss Jiaxin and T6’s engagement ceremony too. When Ye Jian returned to the dormitory to continue packing her luggage, she was a little disappointed.

She had hoped that she wouldn’t miss Jiaxin and T6’s wedding.

The sense of loss gradually disappeared as she boarded the bus and headed to a certain mountain area. In the next seven days, the third-year students would have an outdoor assessment. The results of this assessment would be directly included in the final graduation results. There was not much time for Ye Jian to pay attention to other things.

Xu Wen was a little nervous. When she got into the bus, she chose to sit beside Ye Jian and held Ye Jian’s hand tightly with both hands. It was as if grabbing Ye Jian gave her a sense of security. He Jing glared at her secretly.
