I Just Started College, How Could I Become a Part-Time Papa?!

Chapter 153: Chapter 92: An Embarrassing Examination

The next morning, while making breakfast, Jiang Wanyi heard the sound of giggling echoing throughout the house.

She smiled knowingly, washed and dried her hands, and went to the spare bedroom.

Gently opening the door, she saw Chen Yuan and her precious daughter, both on their stomachs on the bed, butting heads.

”You’re no match for me, kiddo. You need more practice.”

With a push, Chen Yuan sent Mili tumbling.

”GIGGLE GIGGLE GIGGLE—”

Just as Chen Yuan was about to gloat over his vanquished foe, he saw Jiang Wanyi standing in the doorway and quickly pulled the blanket up to cover himself.

Playing on the bed with Mili in just his underwear was a little embarrassing to be seen by Jiang Wanyi.

”When did you get here? You don’t make a sound when you walk.”

Jiang Wanyi shot Chen Yuan a look of mock disgust and said dismissively,

”You two were just playing too intensely. She probably isn’t hungry yet. Get up and get washed. I’ll finish making breakfast, and I can feed her later.”

”Okay.”

Jiang Wanyi turned and left.

PFFT—

The moment the door closed, she couldn’t help but let out a laugh.

She was once again struck by that old saying: men are just boys who never grow up. If it were her, she could never play with her daughter like that.

’I guess it’s up to me to take care of these two kids, one big and one small.’

After getting dressed, Chen Yuan carried Mili out of the room.

While Jiang Wanyi was cooking, Chen Yuan put Mili in her stroller. When he brushed his teeth and washed his face, he kept her beside him.

After he finished, he washed the baby’s face as well.

When he came out of the bathroom, breakfast was ready.

”You eat first. I’ll go feed her.”

”Okay.”

Jiang Wanyi sat with Mili in her playpen, her back to Chen Yuan.

Even though he couldn’t see anything, the sight of her back was enough to let his imagination run wild.

”Ah—”

With a little shriek, Jiang Wanyi gently smacked Mili’s bottom.

”Eat properly. If you bite me again, I’m going to spank you.”

”GIGGLE GIGGLE GIGGLE—”

After a few bites, Mili started getting restless. She squirmed in Jiang Wanyi’s arms, poking her little head out to look at Chen Yuan with her big, dark eyes.

”What are you looking at me for? I’ve got some too.”

Chen Yuan raised his own cup. ”Here, cheers.”

”GIGGLE GIGGLE GIGGLE—”

Mili laughed happily, kicking her feet in Jiang Wanyi’s arms.

It had to be a first, a 250ml cup toasting with an E-cup.

Jiang Wanyi looked back at Chen Yuan, completely helpless against these two clowns.

It felt less like she was taking care of them and more like she was single-handedly supporting them with her own hard work.

After toasting with Mili, Chen Yuan downed the milk in his cup and deliberately sped up his eating. After breakfast, he went over to the playpen to take over for Jiang Wanyi.

”She’s all yours for now.”

The two of them switched places as if changing shifts. Jiang Wanyi went to the dining table, but she was full after only a few simple bites.

After the meal, Jiang Wanyi gathered the dishes and took them to the kitchen, washing them with practiced ease.

Her morning chores finished, she took the clip out of her hair and shook her long tresses, letting them fall loose.

Back in the bedroom, Jiang Wanyi took out the clothes and a diaper for Mili.

”This is your job. I’m going to change, and then we can go.”

”No problem.”

Taking the clothes and diaper, Chen Yuan started singing a nursery rhyme as he coaxed the baby into getting dressed.

”Come on, time for Daddy to give your little tush a nuzzle.”

In the master bedroom, Jiang Wanyi hadn’t closed the door completely and was watching Chen Yuan through the crack.

He pressed his face against Mili’s little bottom, rubbing it a few times, and the baby couldn’t stop giggling.

’Even her real father couldn’t do better than this.’

’He’s almost better at this than I am, and I’m her mother.’

She put on a long dress, then pulled on a pair of slightly thick, nude-colored stockings. After fixing her hair and applying some light makeup, she preened in front of the mirror for a moment, satisfied with her look.

When she came out of the room, Chen Yuan had already gotten the baby dressed and diapered.

”Doesn’t Mommy look pretty?”

”Ah, ah, ah...”

”She says you look very pretty.”

Jiang Wanyi shook with laughter.

”Now you’re her translator, are you?”

”It’s a new skill I picked up.”

”Alright, stop messing around. It’s time to go.”

”Let’s go! We’re going out to play!”

They had already agreed to take Mili out to play today, and Jiang Wanyi had prepared a few things in advance.

She went to the refrigerator and took out four clear food containers.

One was filled with cut fruit, one with sandwiches, one with sliced deli ham, and the last one held a fruit salad.

It wasn’t a lot of food, but it was definitely enough for the two of them.

They went to the door to put on their shoes. He took the baby from Jiang Wanyi’s arms, and after she had her shoes on, she picked up the kitchen trash, and the three of them went downstairs together.

In the elevator, Jiang Wanyi put the baby’s little backpack on the stroller. With the bag of kitchen trash in her hand, she stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Chen Yuan. A pleasant fragrance, mixed with a faint milky scent, gently filled the small space.

’Taking a deep breath. Pure luxury.’

”Oh, right, you didn’t bring the qipao, did you?” Chen Yuan suddenly asked.

”We have a doctor’s appointment in the morning and then we’re taking the baby out in the afternoon. I think we’ll be pretty tired, so let’s not do the photoshoot outside today,” Jiang Wanyi said.

”My dad called and said he misses the baby, so I’m planning to drop her off at his place for a couple of days next weekend. I could use a few days of peace and quiet myself.”

”The temperature is supposed to drop in the next few days. It might be a little cold to wear a qipao outside next week.”

”Don’t underestimate a woman’s determination to get good photos. Besides, with an excellent photographer like you, a little cold is nothing at all.”

”Geez.”

”But you, on the other hand, aren’t allowed to say you’re tired.”

”Don’t underestimate the stamina of an 18-year-old college student, especially when he’s photographing a beautiful model like you.”
