The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 2073: Chapter 2073: Shattered Heart

”The Thunder Immortal Realm is a Middle Immortal Realm. To my knowledge, it has someone at the Illusion-Breaking Realm, as well as two others at the Heavenly Origin Realm. I’m curious how they managed to fail, and how did he end up as your captive without even being able to escape?”

Carson Flores smiled and said, ”As luck would have it, over these two years, we’ve upgraded three Great Land immortals, and coincidentally, I happen to have a Black Dragon friend at the Realm of the Mystic Elephant... Anyway, it was all a coincidence, everything just happened to align.”

Lord Sosa’s gaze fell on Sergio Wilkins’ face, ”What do you say?”

Sergio Wilkins looked at Lord Sosa on the screen, his emotions complex, and said in a deep voice, ”I have nothing to say.”

Lord Sosa’s tone was calm, ”Not even going to call me father?”

Sergio Wilkins’ body trembled, he suddenly raised his head, looking at Lord Sosa with bright eyes, his lips quivered a few times, and he spoke in a low voice, ”Father...”

Lord Sosa sneered, ”Cowardly, with no manly spirit at all, just like a woman, he really is a child raised by a woman, all effeminate...”

Sergio Wilkins shook more violently, his eyes instantly turned red, ”Did you make me call you just to humiliate me?”

Lord Sosa said coldly, ”I, Lord Sosa, have lived a life standing tall, when have I ever been threatened by anyone? Boy, you have miscalculated.”

Carson Flores asked calmly, ”As your daughter said, you, Hall Master Sosa, never cared about this son, are you just going to watch him die without caring? Oh no, he won’t die, at most he would just suffer a great fall in realm, with his future utterly destroyed!”

Lord Sosa snorted coldly, ”Suffering a loss can be a lesson learned. After losing out this time, next time he should remember better, that’s even better.”

Carson Flores was silent for two seconds, ”You are indifferent to him, what about his mother?”

Lord Sosa sneered, ”It was merely a play of chance, a fleeting affair. If his mother hadn’t used tricks back then, he wouldn’t exist at all. After getting pregnant, she even tried to use it to threaten me. How could I, Lord Sosa, be threatened by a woman?”

Carson Flores turned to look at Sergio Wilkins. Sergio Wilkins lowered his head, his hands clenched tightly, his body was trembling slightly. Clearly, everything that happened in front of him shattered his originally hopeful heart completely, throwing him into the abyss.

Carson Flores spoke in a serious tone, ”No matter what happened between you back then, he is, after all, your child. It’s an effortless matter, yet you are unwilling to help, preferring to watch his future be completely destroyed?”

Lord Sosa laughed, ”There are plenty of women willing to sleep with me, his mother was just one of them. The difference is she used a secret technique to make herself conceive. Speaking of which, wasn’t she using me to get rid of her Saintess status...”

”In this life, only I calculate and use others, when have I ever been used by others? Not killing her with my own hands was already merciful. As for him, he shouldn’t have existed in this world in the first place. And now to clean up his mess, it’s a dream!”

”Suppressing the Three Saints Sect wouldn’t be difficult if I stepped in, but what would others think? That I still have lingering feelings for her, that I’m doing it for her? Hmph, wishful thinking!”

Carson Flores, upon hearing this, largely understood. It seems the relationship between Sergio Wilkins’ mother, the Saintess of the Three Saints Sect, and Lord Sosa was not the love at first sight as everyone thought, but a deceitful calculation involving lust.

Sergio Wilkins is truly unfortunate!

Carson Flores couldn’t help but feel a sense of sympathy for Sergio Wilkins.

The conversation had reached this point, and Lord Sosa’s stance was already clear. He didn’t care about Sergio Wilkins’ mother, nor about Sergio Wilkins himself, and it was impossible for him to step in and suppress the Three Saints Sect.

This path was a dead end!

Carson Flores sighed inwardly, cupping his hands towards Lord Sosa, ”In that case, I won’t trouble you further. I hope in the future, Hall Master Sosa won’t regret today’s words and decisions.”

Lord Sosa laughed heartily, ”Regret? Because of you, or because of him?”

Arguing was pointless, and Carson Flores didn’t want to continue the conversation. He was about to disconnect the connection when suddenly, Sergio Wilkins spoke up.

”Wait.”

Carson Flores turned his head, looking at Sergio Wilkins with a slightly complex gaze.

Sergio Wilkins’ eyes were red, his fists clenched, he raised his head, staring at Lord Sosa, and said word by word, ”Just you wait, I’ll make you regret what you’ve said today!”

Lord Sosa sneered, ”Alright, I’ll be waiting for you. If you’re capable, come defeat me and teach me a lesson.”

Carson Flores couldn’t take it anymore and interjected, ”You’re indeed worthy of being the Enforcement Hall Master, cold and ruthless...”

”Boy!”

Lord Sosa said coldly, ”Disaster comes from the mouth, if you don’t want to die, keep your mouth shut, otherwise, I’ll crush you and the entire Thunder Immortal Realm!”

Carson Flores’ eyes narrowed slightly, ”The Great Land Immortal, truly impressive. I got a taste today.”

Lord Sosa wanted to speak further, but Carson Flores no longer gave him the chance to speak, directly cutting off the operation of the formation within the conch.

The sea-blue screen in the sky vanished instantly, as if it had never appeared.

Sergio Wilkins lowered his head, his hair falling over his face, casting a shadow.

”This is indeed a fine result...”
