Capítulo 2021: Chapter 2021: Careful Planning, We May Yet Prevail!

Heavenly Demon Continent, Endless City.

The domain gate in Endless City connects to the Heavenly Profound Continent. Previously, Carson Flores and Selah Ellison Venerable One entered the Heavenly Demon Continent through Endless City.

Aydin Hatfield had previously instructed his subordinates to reveal their identity and forcefully occupy Endless City to ensure the smooth operation of the domain gate and prevent the Demon Race in the Heavenly Demon Continent from closing it.

What Aydin Hatfield thought of, Carson Flores naturally thought of as well.

Carson Flores had previously sent word back to the Celestial Palace that members of the Heavenly Dao Alliance were hiding on the Heavenly Demon Continent. Nico Weaver dispatched a sufficiently strong team to Heavenly Demon Continent for a pursuit, but the Heavenly Dao Alliance members hid in the Sky Wolf Palace, making it impossible for the Celestial Palace pursuit team to locate them.

Aydin Hatfield had directly appeared with Samir Coffey in the Heavenly Fox Palace, intending to capitalize on the momentum of the Three Saints Sect’s Star Domain Flying Boat’s arrival to seize the Heavenly Demon Continent. He originally planned to control all the Demon Race experts through the Round Table Council, to kill the Celestial Palace team pursuing them, and then return everyone to the Heavenly Profound Continent to meet Sergio Wilkins.

The sudden appearance of Carson Flores disrupted Aydin Hatfield’s plan, and even he became a prisoner, while Carson Flores had already contacted the Celestial Palace team, allowing them to capture Endless City and control both sides of the domain gate to ensure its smooth operation.

Aydin Hatfield feared the Demon Race would close the domain gate, and Carson feared the same.

If the domain gate were closed, it would take a considerable amount of time for them to return to the Heavenly Profound Continent, and neither Selah Ellison Venerable One nor Spencer Steele would have such abundant time.

Regardless of victory or defeat, the battle must be quick, or the longer they stay, the more negative effects it would have on their bodies or Dao hearts, which would be detrimental, not beneficial, to their future cultivation.

Carson Flores and the others arrived at Endless City, and Captain Ian Roth of the Immortal Palace Enforcement Team came forward to greet them.

“Special Envoy Carson!”

Carson Flores cupped his hands and asked, “Captain Chen, how is the situation here?”

Ian Roth replied, “We arrived quietly and launched a sudden attack, catching the Heavenly Dao Alliance people off guard, leading to their swift defeat and retreat. We captured some, and the rest fled back to the Heavenly Profound Continent.”

Carson Flores nodded, “Did you catch the Red-robed Blood Envoy, Maggie Fitzgerald?”

Ian Roth looked apologetic, “That woman is very cunning. We focused on trying to catch her since she is the Celestial Palace’s number one wanted criminal, but she was very alert; she fled as soon as the battle began. We chased her all the way, but couldn’t catch up…”

Carson Flores was somewhat disappointed but didn’t say much, as he knew they had tried their best.

“Aydin Hatfield and the others have been captured by me. There is no need to guard Endless City. Everyone return to the Celestial Palace!”

Ian Roth’s face lit up with joy, “Aydin Hatfield has been captured?”

Carson Flores nodded, “Yes, the Heavenly Dao Alliance has been dismantled, but that’s not what’s important. The true opponents are the Three Saints Sect’s three Great Land Sovereigns.”

Ian Roth, who had heard of the news about the Three Saints Sect’s Star Domain Flying Boat sweeping westward triumphantly, showed worry, “Great Land Sovereigns—is it possible to withstand them?”

Carson Flores chuckled, “No need to be disheartened. They have Great Land Sovereigns, and we have them too. Back in the Celestial Palace, the Domain Master has been in seclusion for so long, and it’s possible they’ve already advanced to Great Land.”

Ian Roth smiled wryly, clearly pessimistic, not believing the Celestial Palace could win this war. After all, Great Land Sovereigns are overwhelmingly powerful against immortals under their level.

Carson Flores said no more, waving his hand, “Let’s go!”

Ian Roth agreed, but worriedly asked, “If we leave, will the Heavenly Demon Continent close the domain gate?”

Carson Flores smiled slightly, “The Heavenly Demon Continent is its own nation, not under the jurisdiction of the Celestial Palace. If they wish to close the domain gate, let them. It’s no loss to us. If the Celestial Palace can’t withstand it, I would even hope for all continental domain gates to close, making it a bit more challenging even if they eventually win.”

Ian Roth thought for a moment, realizing indeed, “That’s true, we can’t let them win too easily!”

Carson Flores laughed, “Exactly, let’s go back and give them a surprise first.”

Carson Flores and the rest passed through the domain gate and returned to the Heavenly Profound Continent.

They quickly found the nearest teleportation point of the Celestial Palace and teleported through the teleportation array, soon arriving at the Celestial Palace.

At this point, the Three Saints Sect’s Star Domain Flying Boat had reached the central area of the Heavenly Profound Continent, halfway across its westward journey. Behind the Star Domain Flying Boat, the Immortals numbered over ten thousand, advancing like a mighty army, effortlessly sweeping forward, making it unnecessary for Sergio Wilkins or the Celestial Horse Knights of the Battle Hall to intervene.

Celestial Palace.

Alfred Weaver was examining the information related to the Three Saints Sect’s Star Domain Flying Boat progress when he suddenly heard familiar footsteps.

Alfred Weaver looked up, and his eyes, heavy with worry, suddenly shone with joy.

“You’re back!”

Carson Flores smiled slightly, “Yes, if I hadn’t returned, the Three Saints Sect’s Star Domain Flying Boat would have been at the Celestial Palace…”

Alfred Weaver smiled wryly, “The Three Saints Sect’s Great Land Sovereigns have personally come on this expedition. This time, we might not be able to withstand them.”

Carson Flores chuckled, “Maybe not.”

Alfred Weaver’s eyes widened suddenly, “Do you have a solution?”

Carson Flores smiled slightly, “No solution, but I’ve brought back two Great Land Sovereigns. With the right planning, we might just be able to fight…”
