Under the commander’s leadership, he was more focused than usual.

”Found it.”

Without hesitation, Cavendish fired at the meatball monster!

On Wen Xishu’s side, a prompt suddenly appeared—Cavendish had undergone evolution, profession: sniper, evolved into weak spot striker.

Qualification C, evolved into B-.

Wen Xishu was shocked.

Then, he saw in the distance the monster, which was at least an elite type, being sniped with one shot.

The massive meatball suddenly began to disintegrate, flesh started to burst. Countless pus sprayed out.

In the narrow shelving area, Wen Xishu and the others couldn’t avoid it in time, and Devon instantly rushed in front of Wen Xishu:

”Commander, get back!”

The huge figure suddenly blocked Wen Xishu’s view, and then Wen Xishu saw Colonel Devon’s painful expression.

The tide of pus erupting after the meatball monster’s death drenched his back completely.

Wen Xishu felt as if he could see the opponent’s health bar dropping crazily, and at this rate, within seconds, Devon would be delivering his last words.

But in the next moment, Elsa’s appearance slowed down Devon’s decrease in life.

”He’s badly hurt, I’m on it!”

Elsa decisively rushed forward, a glow in her palm that could heal others.

Wen Xishu nodded:

”Alright, I leave it to you!”

Under his feet, the killer soccer ball appeared.

Although Wen Xishu thought... these guys inexplicably had a high favorable impression of him, which was somewhat strange, he was also aware that Devon truly would risk his life to save him.

These three really regarded him as a very important commander.

Because of this, Wen Xishu also had to respond.

The proficiency of Extreme Kick had reached 64.

Even though it hasn’t been strengthened yet, anger state made another rune of Wen Xishu start to take effect—Rage Stacking.

At this moment, he was like Sagittarius, each arrow more ruthless than the last.

Each kick was stronger than the previous one!

The Extreme Kick touched the killer soccer ball, causing it to ricochet continuously in the shelving area like a laser penetrating through all the shelves.

Countless monsters were crazily headshot.

But Wen Xishu immediately had a thought, and the killer soccer ball came back.

He kicked it a second time.

Then a third kick, a fourth.

With seven consecutive kicks, all the monsters in the shelving area were penetrated by the terrifying killer soccer ball.

Shortly after...

The whole area fell silent.

This scene left Cavendish stunned.

”Commander... you’re too strong! That’s wonderful, wonderful!”

Cavendish was so excited he cried.

Wen Xishu couldn’t understand this emotion, while bullet screens appeared above Cavendish’s head.

”That’s wonderful, we can leave this place now! The commander really can take us to our new home!”

Wen Xishu leapt forward, touching the bullet screen.

But this time, the All-Emotions Rune failed, and the bullet screen seemed ”denied access.”

(You cannot obtain plot clues from outside the favorability system.)

Wen Xishu’s methods were actually blocked by the rules.

However, Cavendish’s favorability increased.

Wen Xishu received a prompt—you can unlock more of their information at ”Balance Tavern.”

Wen Xishu understood. Everything had to go back to the Balance Tavern.

Next, it was him madly reaping alone, and after leaving the supermarket area, the group came to the street where Wen Xishu continued harvesting monsters on the street.

Proficiency finally broke through the limit, Extreme Kick changed from targeting only one person to area damage.

Level 3 effect was unlocked: Extreme Kick·Starlight·Thunder.

After Extreme Kick’s activation, the target had a certain chance of entering a ”stunned” state.

Compared to numerical value, this meant a real special effect appeared.

Wen Xishu was amazed, Scorpion Knife was too reliable.

The last time it was this reliable was on the Ark.

Could it be... this time Scorpio has ulterior motives again?

Wen Xishu didn’t think too much because his sight quickly caught key information—door.

”I see the door!” Sniper Cavendish also said.

”That’s great, this means we’ve already passed the first level!” Elsa exclaimed.

Her healing ability was not enough to restore Devon.

But if they return to the Balance Tavern, the tavern’s ”rest” option can allow Devon to recover according to Max Life Value percentage and exempt many negative effects.

Wen Xishu also understood:

”So, the first level is this simple?”

Devon weakly said:

”No... it’s actually very difficult, Commander. Your combat power is far stronger than we anticipated. Sorry... I became the one holding everyone back.”

Devon’s words were filled with self-reproach.

Wen Xishu couldn’t help but feel some goodwill towards Devon, such a soldier.

”Don’t say so much, since my task is to take you guys to a safe place, I will do my utmost to complete the mission.”

”Let’s go, back to the tavern.”

Wen Xishu really planned to achieve perfect clearance because he wanted to try ”Heavenly Justice.” In fact, in his view, there was always the option to ”summon Sagittarius.”

But he couldn’t choose it, because his Tower Power Value wasn’t enough and the current clearance rating was very low.

Although he perfectly cleared the first level, clearly—this journey is still very long.

At this stage, Wen Xishu couldn’t afford the high cost of summoning Sagittarius.

...

Balance Tavern.

When Wen Xishu and the others passed through the door, they returned to the Balance Tavern.

And Wen Xishu also saw the guidance—

[Congratulations, everyone survives, victory achieved, this battle rating: S.]
