Social Animals? My Brother is a Female Empress in the Underworld and Earns 10 Billion a Month!

19: Fantasy Story 1.0At this moment, the bathroom was shrouded in pervasive mist. Through the hazy vapor, Shang Wan Ning’s graceful, slender, and tall figure came into view.

Water flowed continuously down her delicate, jade-like neck, the sound of splashing against the floor echoing.

Shang Wan Ning extended her slender fingers to rub her hair, and bubbles dripped down the strands, melting into the water.

”It’s killing me, Ling Qi’s figure is everywhere!!!”

Shang Wan Ning cracked her knuckles and turned off the bathroom heater. ”Not washing anymore! Time to sleep.”

Stepping out of the bathroom door, she was enveloped in steam. Raising her eyes, she caught sight of Ling Qi’s profile.

”Why did you come here?”

Ling Qi leaned against the doorway and said solemnly: ”BOSS, borrowing your bathroom.” Without giving Shang Wan Ning a chance to respond, Ling Qi went straight into the bathroom to take a shower.

”You… oh, never mind!”

Shang Wan Ning went to the kitchen to pour a glass of cold tea. Feeling her inner heat calm down significantly, she sat on the sofa and tilted her head to dry her wet hair.

”BOSS, could you help me get a bath towel?” Ling Qi’s voice was muffled by the door.

”Ling Qi is gentle and reserved… she shouldn’t have those thoughts right now, right?” Shang Wan Ning found a bath towel and pikachu pajamas, then knocked lightly on the bathroom door.

”Come in, BOSS!” Ling Qi opened the bathroom door, her proud and upright figure perfect in every inch.

Shang Wan Ning pursed her lips, instinctively looking away, and swallowed. ”Wuwu! I’m going to get a nosebleed!” She rubbed her earlobe awkwardly and said: ”Here’s the towel and pajamas.” After speaking, she quickly handed them to Ling Qi and slammed the bathroom door shut with a ”bang.”

”This is killing me, it’s killing me!” Shang Wan Ning patted her chest, breathing heavily.

...

Ling Qi walked out of the bathroom and saw Shang Wan Ning with her back to her, hands clenched tightly, her body still trembling slightly. She walked behind Shang Wan Ning, placed her hand on her shoulder, and asked softly: ”BOSS! Are you okay?”

Shang Wan Ning was startled. She turned around, her eyes darting away, ”I… I’m fine.”

Ling Qi looked at her flushed face, her heart stirred uncontrollably, and she slowly leaned closer to Shang Wan Ning until their breaths intertwined.

Shang Wan Ning’s heartbeat grew faster and faster; she closed her eyes, waiting for Ling Qi’s next move…

”Wait a second, do ghosts even have breath?”

With a ”snap,” Shang Wan Ning’s fantasy plot shattered.

”BOSS… BOSS?” Ling Qi, wearing the yellow mouse pajamas, waved her hand in front of Shang Wan Ning. Seeing that the BOSS was stunned, she grew bolder and hooked Shang Wan Ning’s chin with one finger.

Her chin touched something slightly warm and damp, the contact very light.

But Shang Wan Ning didn’t want to break free~ The moment the fingertip touched her, a tingling sensation rushed up her tailbone—it felt as if most of the strength had been drained from her entire body.

Shang Wan Ning stepped back a few paces, her palms slamming against the wall to barely support her body. ”Damn! How pathetic, I’m the boss here!”

”BOSS! Are you really okay?” Ling Qi took in Shang Wan Ning’s reaction, knowing in her heart that the BOSS did not reject her.

She cast a meaningful glance at Shang Wan Ning’s chest and held up her right hand in a ”v” shape. ”The size is too small, next time try a D+!” She murmured close to Shang Wan Ning’s earlobe, then ran off after the teasing.

Shang Wan Ning was extremely sensitive around her ears. Suddenly, a wave of heat surged from somewhere in her body, and upon hearing Ling Qi’s words, her anger and desire shot up.

”You’ve got some nerve, don’t you dare run after teasing This Old Lady!!!”

Shang Wan Ning was so embarrassed she turned angry. She opened her Sea of Consciousness to try and catch Ling Qi, but grasped at nothing.

Like a cunning fox, Ling Qi had already slipped away.

”Damn it!” Shang Wan Ning pouted, returned to her bedroom, sat on the edge of the bed, and sulked with her arms crossed for a while. She kept kneading the pikachu and Squirtle dolls in her hands.

The more she thought about it, the angrier she got. She tossed the pikachu and Squirtle dolls aside and decided to go find Ling Qi to settle the score.

She teleported to the staff dormitory and was just about to knock when she heard a series of moans coming from inside.

”Hehe, finally caught you, little fox.”

”You’re the fox, your whole family is foxes!” Then followed a burst of playful laughter. Standing behind the door, Shang Wan Ning blushed beet red. This person was actually watching study materials!

Shang Wan Ning facepalmed and smiled bitterly: ”Seriously! Leaving me out!” She felt secretly annoyed, yet also a bit disappointed and angry.

She turned and left indignantly, her footsteps feeling a bit unsteady.

Back in her bedroom, Shang Wan Ning plopped onto the bed, feeling depressed. She fiercely threw the double pillow aside, then dove onto the bed and covered her head with the quilt.

When she closed her eyes, Ling Qi’s graceful figure involuntarily flashed through her mind.

Remembering Ling Qi in the bathroom just now…

Shang Wan Ning couldn’t help but giggle foolishly, muttering to herself: ”Hehehe! The young lady is so fragrant and soft.”

Gradually, Shang Wan Ning’s thoughts became fuzzier, and sleepiness crept up on her. Unknowingly, she drifted into dreamland and started having a *dream…

In the dream~

A crisp knocking sound rang out.

Shang Wan Ning opened her eyes groggily, hearing the ”tap, tap, tap” of knocking from outside the door. Rubbing her sleepy eyes, she wondered to herself.

It’s so late, who would dare knock on the Big BOSS’s door?

With a bit of curiosity, Shang Wan Ning slowly walked to the door and used her spiritual power to scan the situation outside.

When she saw Ling Qi wearing sexy pajamas, her beautiful legs encased in black silk stockings.

Her heartbeat accelerated instantly, and an indescribable agitation surged into her heart. Shang Wan Ning opened the door nervously.

Ling Qi stood outside the door, smiling, her eyes revealing a hint of ambiguity. A faint trace of playfulness hung on the corners of her mouth, making her intentions impossible to fathom.

Shang Wan Ning clutched the corner of her clothes, not knowing what to say. Her cool voice held a hint of a smile as she said: ”You’re here!”

”Yeah! I’m here!”

Ling Qi walked up to Shang Wan Ning, gently cupped her chin with both hands, and made her meet her gaze.

”BOSS! I want to collect my reward.” Ling Qi wore an expression of certainty.

Shang Wan Ning’s face instantly flushed red, understanding what Ling Qi meant.

Despite feeling somewhat shy inside, she still nodded slightly.

Shang – threw herself into her arms; looking up, her eyes slightly curved, her fingers brushing Ling Qi’s thigh vaguely.

Seeing this, Ling Qi pulled Shang Wan Ning into her arms, and her lips gently covered hers…

Shang Wan Ning narrowed her eyes in enjoyment, like a satisfied little fox that had stolen some cream.

With a dull ”thud,” someone fell off the bed.

Shang Wan Ning was startled awake; it turned out she had been having a *dream the whole time! Her first close-contact with the young lady was actually in a dream.

”So annoying! One-star bad review!”

”Host, Host, are you okay! Your face is so red!”

”It’s hot! How could a cultivator possibly have a fever!” Shang Wan Ning touched her cheeks, seemingly trying to cover something up.
