The hivemind is conquering for me?

”Ok, so here is the list of classes we can attend, we can look at those in a moment, first though. Which would you prefer? Due to our situation, I can pay extra and buy a solo apartment at the college instead of a dormitory because I have a ’servant.’ If you want to live with me while there we can do that, otherwise you would be put in a servant wing, which doesn’t sound too pleasant. You will also have your own room in the apartment so you will have your own privacy.”

Janine looked at me with a raised eyebrow. ”I mean, there is only one real candidate isn’t there? I don’t want to go live with a bunch of cock hungry Sepiidans, that sounds like a living hell. Oh, no offense Talia.” Janine then ignored Talia’s miffed look and asked. ”How much does the apartment costs? I don’t mind chipping in.”

”Uh let me check.” I said as I began to pour through the information. ”Do, do, do, doo, dooo~ 2.5 Million credits a month.” Janine’s eyes went wide and her credit chip became well hidden before she yelled out. ”What! how is it that much!”

”Well-” I started before I was interrupted. ”-From what I have read, it looks like this place works outside of common class restrictions Spartari tends to follow. Being born noble has no advantage at this college so It looks like in order to get premium exceptions, such as private living, you better be willing to donate generously towards the school’s academics. That doesn’t surprise me, the school says they are equal, but some bias to get money in is obvious. Human greed. So easy to exploit.”

Janine looked at Talia baffled for a moment before the blue haired beauty said. ”What? I am more than just my incredibly good looks and sexually thrilling body Janine. I pick up on things. Still, this place looks genuinely incredible for those without social standing, this college is doing a good thing. It is a shame it is only reserved for those with Psi-on-ics. Did I say it right?”

”Yeah, that’s right, also, that was genuinely very impressive what you just did Talia, understanding how the school has taken to funding itself.” I said, causing Talia to begin shaking with excitement before composing herself.

”Oh, it’s nothing. Those that keep their cards close to their heart or put up a front, masking their true intentions are most of the time incredibly easy to read. A broader spectrum like a board of a college can be even easier, they are all money grubbers at the end of the day if they want to admit it or not.

No, the really difficult people to read are people like you, my handsome man, who wears his entire life on his sleeve. It makes weeding out your deep dark desires all the more difficult... Though if you ever want to shine the light on them, my body is yours for the using. I am up for anything baby...”

I turned to Talia, my eyes void of emotion as I looked her up and down, not as an individual, but as a resource. A test subject. Prey. ”Are you sure ’anything’ is really the word you wish to use?” I stated before slowly beginning leaning over her, my looming presence causing her to cover backwards.

”Apollo?” Janine said, concerned. In a moment, my atmosphere changed as a smile returned to my face. ”Yeah?” Janine didn’t expect the complete 180 of my previous 180 personality change and stammered a moment before simply saying ”N-Nothing.”

Talia on the other hand, was still shaking. The look her man had just given her... It was like she wasn’t a living thing for a moment. Just a slab of meat... It should have scared her, but the puddle she was sitting in was not a result of fear... ”I- I need to go get a towel and rehydrate. Can I get you anything master?”

I snapped my head back around immediately. ”You can start by dropping the master shit. It’s already bad enough Kathrine calls me it all the time, I don’t need you doing it... Also a glass of water would be nice.”

As she got up and walked away I looked at the spot where she was just sitting and shook my head, mumbling to myself. ”I swear that Sepiidan’s cave would be dryer underwater... She is like a leaky pipe wherever she goes.”

”I don’t know Apollo, I think you are underestimating the effect you have on Sepiida biology. I mean, after Tal explained how her royal blood worked to me, it started to make me realise why I see you as a tall feminine dommy mommy when I am drunk. Because even I want those genetic materials without me realising. Goodness, can you imagine you going to New Sepiida? Your presence alone would cause so much ’water’ to form that it would cause a tidal wave of cataclysmic proportions. Truthfully, it might be a good thing that genetic science is outlawed as I feel like more Sepiidan’s might end up like me and pick up arms for the gene race that would occur.”

Janine then looked at the confused look on my face after saying all that and asked. ”What?” I shook my head and said. ”No it’s nothing, I’m simply still processing being called a ’dommy mommy’ That is the last thing I would ever have expected to be called.”

Janine snorted a laugh. ”Well what did you think happened when I get drunk? That the twink fairy comes and makes you look like a pretty little trap? You are a big fucker Apollo, takes more than fairy tales and beer goggles to change that.”

”Janine stop talking, your words are sanding away at my brain.” I said and massaged my temples. Janine’s eyes narrowed at the opportunity to tease and took it to the next level. ”Aww, Is my big Twinkerbell shy? It’s ok, Janine still loves you no matter the way you look, come give me a kiss Twinkerbell. Mwah, Mwah ,Mwah, Mwah, Mwah~~~”

”Janine...” I warned sternly at her kissy face, but she ignored me. ”Janine...” I repeated again, yet she continued to pucker out her lips making those obnoxious noises. ”Seriously I am warning you.”

In response, Janine positioned herself onto her knees and began leaning up towards my face. ’Well, I gave her fair warning, she wanted to play this game...’ ”Mwah, Mwah, Mwah,-Mmmhh!!!”

Janine’s eyes shot wide open in surprise as she felt a pressure against her lips. Upon seeing Apollo’s face so close to hers and understanding what was happening she was shocked, not expecting her teasing to go this way despite her literally asking for kisses.

Just as she was about to close her eyes again to enjoy the sensation, Apollo pulled away and looked at her, confused? ”Hmm.” He simply made the noise with his throat, causing her to stammer out. ”W-what?”

I furrowed my brow. ’I’m not sure myself... Something felt different this time, less... Wrong?’ I put the through to the side and gave Janine a soft nudge. ”Serves you right, Teasing me like that. I see a hot Sepiida asking to suck face, what kind of man would I be to turn that down?”

”Now, back to the task at hand.” I said changing the subject as the sensation of the kiss was making me think weird things. ”Look through this list and tell me if any of the classes or lectures tickle your fancy.”

There was a slight pause as Janine looked up at me before taking the piece of paper I just picked up and began looking at it. ”By my left tit! That is a lot of subjects, so niche as well... Oh that is nice, ’coming to terms with de-aging.’ It must be for a support class for late awakeners.”

”You would fit right in then huh?” I said cheekily. ”Fuck off! You may have awakened me, but twenty four isn’t old, you big penis with legs. How old were you then when you awakened? Five? Six? You and I both know that difference between us for Psionic capable life is nothing. A blip, a minor advantage and you know it!

I paused a moment before looking at Janine confused. She was my best friend after all I thought it was fair she knew the truth. ”Have I not told you before? Or have you simply forgotten?

Janine stopped with the playfulness for a moment. She felt like Apollo had become serious. Something that rarely ever happens. She had seen him serious on Alexandria and that was about it. In the midst of life and death. ”What is it Apollo?”

”Janine, I have been awakened since birth. I have also been cognitively functional for all that time. I can’t tell you how that is possible, it just is. It’s thanks to that, that Sophia’s family were able to find me in that dumpster on Apollo-minor as I most definitely wasn’t crying.”

Janine blinked in surprise. As outlandish as that sounded, she believed her best friend. ”Can you tell me more about being cognitive at such a young age? Like how is that even possible? Even with Psionics, your brain shouldn’t be developed enough to handle such strenuous things like complex thoughts...”

Janine wasn’t the only one curious. Onyx had practically bounced off the Mindspace defence in surprise at the sudden proclamation, Apollo has rarely brought up the subject voluntarily. She then turned to the golden restricted portion of the Mindspace.

Following her universe’s footsteps, Onyx hated being in the dark. Especially to the secrets regarding Apollo. If Janine could spoon out even a little bit of sweetness from Apollo’s brain in regards to the mystery not even the queen could crack, she would be forever grateful, THEY would be ever grateful.
