The hivemind is conquering for me?

Ripping the head of a man, his spinal column following him, I lifted it high and yelled. ”YOU WERE GOING TO DO WHAT TO ME YOU FUCK! Where are you, you pathetic coward!” With my armour caked in blood and it making me 8ft tall while surrounded by the former bodies, now a jigsaw puzzle of limbs, of the gangers.

I posed a menacing sight even for veteran psychopaths that these flesh piles formerly were.

”Where are you fucker? Come, claim your prize!” I yelled in mockery as I activated my Psionic vision to cover all around my vicinity. Upon realising the head had allowed his limbs to die to save his own life, having escaped my vicinity. I laughed and began heating up my surroundings.

I burned all the waste off my armour before storing it back inside my arm and closed my eyes to calm myself down. Although I was incredibly angry at what the man said, It was not all my anger. I could feel the influence Sol’s heat had on my emotions, spurning me. I knew her affect only amplified my emotions though, not adding on new emotions. I was clearly capable of being that pissed off, I just shouldn’t have been.

As I looked around, I mused to myself that I should have kept a prisoner to get information from as I wouldn’t have allowed to boss to live if he stuck around. The thought that that cunt was still alive irked me greatly, but I was not about to play chase just so I could murder the guy.

After one final deep inhale I calmed myself down and looked around once more at the meat piles in my vicinity. ”Damn, I get pretty ruthless when I am mad huh?” I said out loud, causing me to remember punching that alien’s head into mush after she kept on zapping me.

I then reached down towards one of the piles of meat and retrieved a laser rifle. ’Will probably get jumped less now with a gun in my hand.’ As incredible and lethal as my Zircon was, she didn’t have the same scare factor as a gun.

Making my way towards the executed Phalanx guards, I checked their bodies and then the remaining portion of the shuttle for a way to communicate with Orbit for an extraction, but I was in no luck. It seemed the front portion of the shuttle, that was blown to smithereens, had all that equipment.

Talking another deep breath with my eyes closed in annoyance, I then got up and started my walk once more... My mood, not one to be tested again.

...

An hour later, a convoy of vehicles arrived at the crash site. ”Fuck me sideways and call me Betty, the fuck happened here Shaun?” A man said as he stepped out of an APC. Shaun, looking over towards the, could you even call them that at this point, corpses of his former men and shuddered.

”He was a fucking animal. He was moving so fast I could barely see. But that armour he was wearing! I tell you man, I think some nobles have run their lot in with Talos! They had to have. My guys’ weapons were useless against it.”

Just as the man was about to respond to his subordinate, he heard a whistle from behind him that caused him to freeze. ”Wowie! Is someone trying to flirt with me? Because if they are, they have come in swinging.

A woman with blue hair, styled in twin pigtails, that everyone present was afraid of, left her own vehicle and walked ahead while everyone stayed dead silent, fearing a peep would spell their actual death.

The woman, wearing a tank top and a mini skirt looked around admiring the work of whoever butchered her offshoots. ”Oho, you know your girl Jinx is gonna have a field day with whoever the fuck did this. I mean look at this shit! It looks like the target was just being ruthless, but it’s almost like art. A girl could cry at how perfect this all looks!”

Suddenly, the gruntling who had called her over here like a little bitch emerged to her side. ”Um, Jinx. Over there is where the Phalanx corpses are. I know White Death asked for us to collect any we kill after all.”

*Sniff* She ignored the man. *Sniff, Sniff* ”Is that?” A scent caught Jinx off guard. It smelt familiar, but also a little different. She had to be sure. *SNIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIF* As Jinx began sniffing one of the piles of meat in front of her, Shaun nearly shat himself as it looked like Jinx’s mouth extended into a smile that cracked all the way to the sides of her face. ”It is!”

She couldn’t believe it! ’What? How? When? Why?’ Jinx’s smile opened wide, how could it not, it was her boyfriend who helped her achieve this smile after all. And he was now here? Back home... In the south...

Suddenly the smile disappeared and the already scared Shaun shat a brick as Jinx looked at him with anger. Standing up, She flexed pride, her pink custom made gauntlet, and asked the dead man in front of her.

”You said the man who did this was a noble?... Describe him to me.” Shaun grew confused. ”W-what?” he asked, causing a yell. ”Did I stutter you dumb fuck! I said describe him to me!”

”Ahh! I don’t know! I can’t remember! He had purple hair and was tall, that is all I remember! He scared the fuck out of me so I ran! I -Gluhgrglglglglglglglgl!” The man suddenly had his throat ripped from the rest of his body and began drowning on the floor, next to his former men.

To make matters worse, his entire rib cage shattered as a final present on his way out Jinx kicked him and yelled. ”You don’t shoot down Nobles you fucking twat!” She then turned to the rest of her chaff, who flinched away at her gaze. ”Pussies...” She mumbled before licking the still warm blood off her gauntlet.

”Everyone, Roll out! We are tracking down the fucker that did this! I doubt he has gotten very far!” She said, causing someone to ask. ”But what about our dead?”

”If you want to join them all you have to do is ask. Now shut up! She yelled before adding as she took another glimpse over at the marvelous work her boyfriend had commited. ”Meh, collect the weapons quickly, as for the meat... Let the cockroaches have their fill, they might end up joining us if they get some nutrition to their brains finally.”

...

”Guys. I am really not in the mood. Will you please move out of the way before I turn you into scrap metal.” From the butcher’s yard into the slagworks, I found myself intercepted by A group of heavily armed, coordinated, metal augmented men who were aiming their weapons at me, asking for identification.

”You will comply and leave our territory if you have no permission to be here, otherwise you will be opened fire upon. Now I ask again. Identification!” I growled animalistically in my throat and explained once more to them.

”My shuttle. You know flying ship fwoosh! Nyooom! That type of thing, was shot down. I have no identification. Just let me fucking go north is all I ask. What the fuck is wrong with the inhabitants of this continent!?!”

I was at the end of my tether and my body language clearly reflected that as my next set of enemies placed their fingers on their triggers. Just as I was about to say ’have it your way’ A voice of reason emerged from behind the vehicles they intercepted me exclaiming. ”Stand down! Stand down!”

The man in question had two large blue cybernetic eyes that made it look like he was wearing large goggles. ” I recognise this man... Yes. You are the reason I lost my second eye. You are Apollo Lambdason aren’t you? Lady Sophia’s fiancé.”

The mention of the neutral party caused the hostile forces to lower their sights from me and await further orders.

”Yes, I am who you are speaking of, how do you?-” I was cut off. ”I was the one that led the assault against you and Jinx at that drug den if you recall? I then spotted you again a few months later at the neutral party. You might have gotten a bit taller, leg implants?, but I would recognise you anywhere. So, what the fuck are you doing this far south? Do you have a death wish?”

One of his troops then spoke on his behalf, telling him exactly what I told them and he mused for a moment. ”I see. Well then Apollo, even if you were shot out of the air by those blood-mongers, your presence here is still in violation of the neutrality agreement your fiancée put into place. I am going to have to ask you to come with me to see my boss so we can get this situation put to rest. Do you comply?”

I sighed out in relief and looked at the man, with gratitude. ”That works for me. As long as you are taking me north I don’t give two cares what I have to do. Let’s get going!”
