Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 797: Gifts From the Cursed Tree

The forest that was once green and beautiful was now completely flattened and silent like a barren mountain range.

No sound of animals could be heard, no natural breeze, not even the sound of insects. The entire area after Walterkʼs battle had become like a part of a dead world; a land that nature itself did not dare approach.

The ground was split for kilometers, mountains had collapsed, trees had turned to ash.

And deep within that massive ruin, the black and golden roots of the cursed tree had spread across the land like ancient serpents.

Some of them extended for kilometers, others had sunk into the earthʼs cracks, and some moved slowly on the surface… as if a living creature was breathing.

But at the center of all that silence, Daniel sat under the tree, his eyes closed, and the massive light of the fruit shone on his body. The fruit was no longer like before.

Before, it was just a small, translucent object, but now, it had grown to almost the size of a human head.

Golden veins moved quietly within it, and every few seconds, a deep pulse spread from inside it.

Pulse.

Pulse.

Pulse.

And with each pulse, something inside Daniel responded.

A feeling like resonance between two existences, as if the tree and Daniel were hearing each otherʼs voices.

The massive roots moved quietly around him, not to attack, but like a creature unconsciously reacting to his presence.

And in that heavy silence, Danielʼs mind quietly descended into his inner world.

A vast space with no boundaries, threads of eternal power floating in it, broken and rebuilt laws flowing like invisible rivers in the void.

And at the center of that world, a half-complete core floated, a core that looked like a cracked sun.

Layers of black and golden light slowly rotated on its surface, but every few seconds, it cracked.

Its light went out and then activated again. Clearly unstable, as if it had a problem or actually a deficiency.

Daniel looked at it in silence. He had finally succeeded.

The path between the fallen godʼs bloodline and his own original race had been connected.

The channel had formed, the energy transfer cycle worked, the laws were stabilized, and even the evolution structure was almost complete.

But the core still didnʼt work. Something was missing. Daniel quietly raised his hand in his inner world.

Threads of eternal power wrapped around his fingers, and at that moment, another crack appeared on the core.

His eyes narrowed slightly. The problem was no longer control; he had passed the control stage long ago.

The real problem was fuel. Something that could keep this core stable, something that could connect the two opposing existences inside him.

The fallen godʼs bloodline and his Innate primal race.

He quietly opened his eyes and looked at the tree with gratitude. He owed all his current progress to the tree. Whenever he didnʼt know what to do, the tree helped him.

And meanwhile, his relationship with the tree had become much deeper, and he had understood more things about the tree.

The reason the tree was terrifying was not just its power, but the way it grew. The tree did not just absorb energy; it devoured everything.

Soul, mana, essence, and even the concept of life, and then converted them into something greater. A power that was no longer just ”energy” belonging to this world.

Rather, a kind of divine essence, in fact the same divine power that gods needed to evolve their divinity.

But there was one thing he still hadnʼt understood: how does this tree do this? How does it create divine power from life force?

Does it have a specific mechanism? He had tried to study the tree but still hadnʼt found anything.

”If I could also be like this tree…” Danielʼs eyes darkened slowly.

”…devour anything and convert it into divine power, what then?”

The core inside his inner world trembled, the light of its cracks intensified, as if the structure itself had reacted to this idea.

Daniel looked back into his inner world. If the core stabilized, he would no longer have to evolve according to racial limitations.

He would no longer need to follow the laws. He could rewrite the laws himself.

Not breaking limits, but completely rewriting them. And that was something even gods probably could not do easily.

But the problem was that he didnʼt know if such a thing was possible, or if only this tree could do it.

In theory, the core he had built could act as a channel. He wanted to use it to combine his bloodline and his race.

But perhaps if he upgraded its mechanism, he could pass life force through it and receive divine power in return. But he didnʼt know how to do that.

”Or maybe I actually have an idea. The fallen godʼs bloodline should be able to help.” He remembered that one of the abilities of the fallen bloodline was that it had removed all class limitations for him.

Each class could only use its own class skills, and only when reaching S-rank could they learn other classesʼ skills to a limited extent.

But because of his bloodline, he had never had that limitation. And now, perhaps this same fallen godʼs bloodline ability could help him achieve what he wanted.

And suddenly, as if the tree had understood his desires and wishes, vague and unknown images spread in his mind.

Incomplete powers.

Unfinished futures.

First image: a river of laws being swallowed into darkness.

”Devouring Divinity.”

The ability to devour laws, energies, and even concepts… and convert them into divine essence.

Second image: a body that changed after each absorption, bones being rewritten, cells evolving.

”Abyssal Evolution.”

Third image: a massive core that no longer fed on mana, but consumed the very laws of the world.

”Eternal Core.”

Fourth image: a massive pressure descending on lower laws, weakening enemiesʼ power, and even suppressing their very existence.

”Fallen Godʼs Authority.”

And finally, an image darker than all: a tree standing in the void, its roots passing through worlds.

And devouring worlds like fruit.

”World Devourer Path.”

Daniel breathed quietly, and then excitement rippled in his eyes. He realized what the tree had shown him.

These were abilities he could obtain by combining his bloodline and his race and the core. But they were not easy.

To create each one, he needed more knowledge and understanding of his race and bloodline, understanding he would only gain by studying them.

Fortunately, on this floor, he had enough time to study both, and it seemed he could also count on the treeʼs help.

None of them were complete yet. Everything was only in the realm of possibility. Paths that might one day become real.

But even this was enough to make him pause, because for the first time, even he himself realized that what he was building might truly be legendary.

”This tree is incredible... How can the people of this world want to destroy it?” He looked at the tree with a smile.

”I wish I could take it with me from here.” Then he sighed.

This tree, whatever it is, clearly this world dosenʼt deserve it

”Hmm?” Daniel quietly came out of his meditation and fixed his gaze into the depths of this deserted ruin.

He could sense a presence.

After Walterkʼs massacre, no sane creature should dare approach this place.

But now, the sound of quiet footsteps could be heard in the mist.

Tap.

Tap.

Tap.

And then an old man emerged from the darkness. The same simple gray robe, the same old wooden staff, and the same calm smile as if the concept of fear did not exist within him.

But what made even Danielʼs gaze change slightly was the old manʼs aura... He sensed no power from him, as if he was a mortal without any power.

The old man came forward unhurriedly, and when his gaze fell on Daniel, his smile deepened slightly.

”I finally found you.”
