Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 758: The Battle Of Leaders ( Finale )

Space... was no longer an environment. It looked like a broken surface, layered, cracked, and on the verge of complete collapse.

Varnos and Alaric stood facing each other, not as two humans... but as two centers of gravity that were bending the laws around them.

Both of them were at the peak of their power, and Varnos could now fight without any restrictions. The limitations caused by that damn serum were completely gone.

He could really feel freedom. That posion had felt like a hand constantly gripping his throat and trying to choke him.

Now that the poison was gone, it was as if that hand had disappeared. He could breathe freely and use his full power.

The moment their gazes locked, the battle began. There was no extra movement.

Space broke because of their presence, and Varnos was the first to move. Now that he could finally fight, he couldn’t let the flow of the battle slip out of his control.

As long as he could control the battle, he could suppress his enemy.

His body slid forward, not with speed, but with ”displacement.” It was as if the distance between him and his target was forcibly shortened.

His blade, created from moonlight power, moved in a smooth arc.

[Moon: Crescent Severance]

A crescent slash of moonlight, silent but deep, tore through space. This attack didn’t just target the body, it directly cut the flow of mana, like cutting the roots of a tree.

Alaric didn’t even step back. He raised his hand and darkness gathered in front of him into a compressed knot before the slash could hit.

[Void: Devouring Singularity]

A small black point... but infinitely heavy. The moonlight slash hit it and disappeared.

It wasn’t stopped or deflected, it was swallowed. But for a very short moment, the flow of the void around Alaric trembled.

That was exactly what Varnos wanted, and in that moment he closed the distance.

His blade moved again, this time directly, but the space under his feet suddenly collapsed.

[Void: Endless Collapse]

With just a small movement, Alaric had turned the area around Varnos into a pit of collapse. Layers of space slid over each other, and every point where Varnos stepped became unstable.

Varnos didn’t jump back. His body... disappeared.

[Moon: Lunar Phase Shift]

For a moment, his existence separated from the real phase. Attacks passed through him, space went through him, and then he appeared again in another spot, unharmed, but with more pressure on his body.

Alaric sharpened his gaze. He could no longer take this fight lightly. Rage was surging in his eyes.

If he had known this bastard had been hiding such a trump card the whole time, he would have killed him without wasting any time when he had the chance.

He had lost all those good opportunities to kill this piece of trash, and now he had to actually fight him.

He thrust his hand forward and darkness split open in the shape of a massive claw.

[Darkness: Abyssal Rend]

The claw of darkness didn’t tear space, but ”existence.” Its trail remained in space like a wound that wouldn’t close easily.

Varnos raised his blade and several invisible orbits activated around him.

[Moon: Silent Orbit]

The orbits began to spin, and any attack that entered their range had its path bent, its power weakened, or was completely deflected.

The claw of darkness collided and its direction changed, but not completely. Part of it passed through the defense.

Varnos’s shoulder was torn open and blood spread into the void... and immediately disappeared.

Varnos didn’t even frown. Instead he came down, dragged his blade toward the ground, and the field changed.

[Moon: Tidal Dominion]

Space became like an ocean. An invisible tide began to move, pulling, pushing, compressing.

Alaric was forced to take one step back, but at that moment his eyes darkened and space... was erased.

[Void: Spatial Erasure]

It didn’t break or compress, it was erased. Of course not conceptually to the point of completely removing space from the world, but more on the physical and known level.

What was called space no longer existed there, as if it had been wiped away.

The part of the field where Varnos was standing simply lost its existence. In the last moment, Varnos changed his phase again, but this time the movement wasn’t complete.

The edge of the erasure touched his side. His body trembled, the mana inside him became unstable, and Alaric stepped forward.

And this time he fell.

[Darkness: Sovereign Descent]

Not in the literal sense, but as a ”sovereign.” Absolute pressure settled over the field. Mana became heavy and movement slowed down.

Even time... stretched. Varnos was stopped for a moment... but in that same moment he pulled all the energy around him.

Now that his enemy was using his full power, he couldn’t fall behind either. He had to skills.

[Moon: Full Eclipse Guard]

Moonlight gathered around him, compressed, and turned into an absolute shield. Any energy that came close was absorbed and neutralized.

The darkness pressure broke, but this balance didn’t last. Several more collisions, several deadly exchanges, and every time the distance grew smaller.

Breaths became heavier, bodies more damaged, and neither had absolute superiority.

But this situation couldn’t continue. Alaric understood that.

He didn’t want to and couldn’t let the battle drag on any longer. The array they had set up had limitations and couldn’t last for a long time.

If that array fell apart, they would lose all their advantage and the battle would immediately turn in favor of the Everlight Moon Guild. Although that didn’t mean they would lose.

Even without the array, victory was still certain for them, but the casualties would be so high that it wouldn’t be worth it. Without the array, he was sure that half of the Goblin Guild commanders would be killed, and those strange monsters might even kill more than 90% of their Guild’s Awakened.

If that happened, even if they won the war, it would be no different from defeat. They would become so weak that they would lose their position as the strongest.

He had to make a decision.

His eyes closed for a moment, then the connection was established, and at that moment the entire field trembled.

The array that had spread across the entire region suddenly contracted. All mana flows, all support, all reinforcements focused on one point.

Alaric.

His body trembled but his power multiplied several times, and Varenos immediately understood. A big frown appeared on his face and he felt a strong sense of danger. His intuition was telling him he should run!

Alaric raised his hand and darkness and void, for the first time, merged without boundaries.

This was going to be the final attack, something that would end this battle.

[Void-Darkness: Absolute Oblivion Collapse]

Space contracted.

Light went out.

Sound disappeared.

Time seemed to stop.

Varnos gathered all his strength, activated all his defensive layers, and used every method he could to defend.

But this attack was on another level.

The collision happened.

Not in the form of an explosion. In fact, it was completely silent and at least on the surface nothing seemed to happen. It occurred in the form of ”erasure.”

When everything ended, silence returned. The dust... cleared, and Varenos was lying on the ground.

Half of his body... no longer existed. The mana inside him was completely extinguished. His breaths were short, ragged, and heavy.

In front of him stood Alaric.

But even he was breathing heavily. The array around him had cracked.

It wasn’t stable. It looked like it could disappear at any moment, but fortunately he had won this battle.

”Any last words?” he asked Varnos with a loud laugh, full of mockery and panting.

But suddenly, at that exact moment, the sky trembled. A massive, boundless, and unknown aura covered the entire sky.

Alaric raised his head. His eyes narrowed. Varenos, with half-open eyes, looked at that light.

They felt that something had awakened. In the area where Daniel and the two twins were fighting.

”...What the hell is this?”
