Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 753: At The Verge Of Death

The two domains of Yin and Yang had split the sky in half, but now they were shaking more unstably than before, as if the world itself couldn’t endure such opposition for long.

But that wasn’t the main problem right now. During their fight, at a far distance, a massive wave of mana collided. The impact could even be felt from here.

Varenos and Alaric.

Daniel raised his head for a moment and sensed it. That level of power... that collision... this was no longer a battle between ordinary people.

Just from feeling the auras, he could tell that the fight between Varenos and Alaric had finally begun.

And that meant the battle between the leaders had officially started. It practically meant they had entered the final phase of the war.

At any moment, the ancestors of both Guilds , the National Rank Awakened, might enter the battle and once again change the entire battlefield.

Even so, he wasn’t happy at this moment because Varenos was in a bad situation. He doubted that his Guild leader had any chance against Alaric.

Even in normal conditions, Alaric was known as the strongest S-rank in the country, let alone now when Varenos was severely weakened because of that serum.

If he could, he would go help, but he couldn’t. His gaze returned to the front again. Kyle and Karin were still there.

Until he finished things here, he couldn’t leave. That meant it was time for him to end this battle.

His fingers tightened on the hilt of The Heaven’s Honor.

Something changed in Kyle and Karin’s eyes. The cold, calculating game was gone. Their auras... grew deeper.

It was clear that their leader’s arrival had boosted their morale.

On the Yin side, the darkness became heavier, like an endless sea ready to devour everything. On the Yang side, the light became more compressed, a radiance that even burned space.

”It’s time.”

[Yin: Null Existence Field]

The Yin domain expanded, not as a wave... but like an infiltration. The space around Daniel changed. A heaviness settled on his body.

Not just on his body, but on his ”existence.”

He felt something being pulled out from inside him, as if an invisible layer of his existence was fading away. His defense... slowed down.

Even the aura of his sword, which had always been firm and stable, trembled for a moment.

”...”

Daniel’s eyes narrowed, and at that exact moment

[Yang: Infinite Surge Core]

Light compressed in Kyle’s hands. It wasn’t like before. This time the energy was increasing nonstop, like a heart beating wildly.

And then the explosion.

Daniel dodged. His body twisted to the right, his foot slipped on the broken space, and as the light passed by his face, a burning heat split his skin.

But the explosion happened behind him. The shockwave threw him forward.

Before he could regain his balance, Karin appeared.

They clearly didn’t want to give him even the smallest chance. They had also reached the conclusion that they needed to end this battle as soon as possible.

[Yin-Yang: Balance Collapse]

One strike.

At the moment when Daniel’s body balance hadn’t returned yet, the sudden pressure multiplied several times. His body, which was trying to stabilize, was suddenly crushed under the pressure.

Karin’s blade hit his side and blood sprayed. Daniel clenched his teeth and pulled back. His foot split the ground to hold himself in place.

”Surrender.”

Daniel snorted. These idiots seemed to have concluded that they couldn’t kill him. Still, he didn’t care.

And then, without answering, he attacked. His sword came down with insane speed.

But

[Twin Law: Mirror Reversal]

Space twisted. His strike... was deflected. Not only deflected, but it returned toward him with even greater force.

His own power, with increased intensity, came back at him from an impossible angle. Daniel’s eyes widened for a moment.

He quickly spun his body, brought his sword in front, and the collision happened.

The wave of lightning and his own strike clashed together.

But he was still pushed back.

His foot dragged across the ground, leaving deep lines on the surface, and his arm trembled from the pressure.

His breathing grew heavier. His body... hurt. The serum... was still there and hadn’t completely disappeared.

Unfortunately he had no advantage in this battle. Because of this domain and that damn array, he was being completely suppressed. Everything was in the enemies’ favor and he had no chance.

What should he do? Was there really no other way?

Another strike.

And another.

And another.

Every attack he made was either deflected or returned to him. Every dodge was met with a Yang explosion.

Every moment he lost balance, the Yin pressure multiplied, his body became covered in wounds, and Mana healing wasn’t working with its full power.

His breathing was ragged. The lightning around his body no longer had its previous stability. Sometimes it went out, sometimes it sparked unsteadily.

”...”

There was another problem too. If he died here, he wouldn’t come back. He wouldn’t be able to use his extra lives. The serum... wouldn’t allow it.

A cold feeling ran up his spine. This could be a real death.

It felt like everything had been planned to drag him into this abyss, a place where they could kill him.

Kyle and Karin exchanged a short look and, without words or hesitation, the decision was made.

Space changed and light and darkness began to merge again. But this time it wasn’t a simple attack. It was something... deeper.

[Absolute Eclipse: End of Duality]

The world... went silent. The light didn’t disappear, darkness didn’t come. Both... existed together.

Simultaneously opposite yet one at the same time. The space around Daniel began to collapse.

Not from the outside, but from within. His existence... was being erased. In the real sense, he felt as if everything about him was being wiped away.

The lightning... went out. His sword... trembled and his vision blurred.

There was no escape, no defense was enough, and he no longer even had the power to attack. He was completely fading away.

None of the powers he had used so far were enough.

At that exact moment, he sighed and started laughing out loud. A laugh that echoed throughout the void.

”Has he gone crazy?” Kyle said with mockery.

Of course it was expected. After all, they were now using their strongest attack.

”I have a bad feeling,” but Karin had a different opinion. For some reason, he suddenly felt very bad.

It was as if his intuition was warning him to run!

But why?

Why would his intuition warn him to run away?

Why should he be afraid of this bastard who couldn’t even attack anymore?

Could he have felt it wrong?

Because the man he was seeing right now didn’t look like he could even move a single finger. He was no different from a moving corpse, and their skill, which had the power to gradually erase existence, was doing its job.

In just a few minutes, after that, this bastard would be completely dead and destroyed.

So what was this feeling of danger for?

”What do you mean?”

Though it was already too late to ask.

”I guess I have no choice,” Daniel smirked and finally used his trump card.

[Transcendent Self]
