Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 459: Seven Headed Goat Of Corruption

Daniel opened the skill panel of the next Corruption Worshiper, the fourth one. Even though he only gave the stats a quick glance, it was enough for him to realize this one was much stronger than the first three.

Then when his eyes fell on the rank, he was sure. This one was a Peak Rank A, and the difference compared to the previous ones was huge.

He became a bit more hopeful about this one’s skills. He checked them, and fortunately, they looked promising.

The range of skills was also between B and S Rank, but unlike the others, this one had many more S Rank skills. Because of that, it took him longer to go through them.

Finally, he found one that was actually useful to him. He clicked on the description.

[ Corruption Storm (S) A storm created from corruption. When activated, a massive storm spreads across a wide area and corrupts everything inside it ]

At first glance, this skill seemed useless to him, but when he thought a little deeper, he realized this was actually a masterpiece and could be extremely helpful.

Not the current version of the skill, but what he could build with it. For a long time, he had wanted to upgrade his Apocalypse skill but never had a good idea of how to do it.

And now? A very good idea came to him. With this skill, he should be able to upgrade his strongest skill again and maybe even create something far more terrifying.

His eyes shined. Maybe he could even build a skill powerful enough to actually kill an S Rank. The more he thought about it, the more possible it seemed.

Without hesitation, he clicked copy.

[ The S Rank Skill Corruption Storm has been successfully copied ]

Then he moved on to the fifth panel. This one was also a Peak Rank A, only slightly weaker than the previous one.

He checked the skills. The range was a bit weaker than the last one and it had one or two fewer S Rank skills.

Daniel gave all of them a quick look, but unfortunately none caught his attention. Still, taking ten percent of this one’s EXP wouldn’t help him much right now anyway.

He decided not to bother with this one for the time being and closed the panel. When he reached Rank A, he could get ten percent of this Corruption Worshiper’s EXP, and maybe even jump straight to Mid Rank A in one move.

Then he went to the next one. This one was weaker than the last two and seemed to be at Mid Rank A.

Daniel didn’t waste time and went straight to the skills. This time, he was lucky enough to find something that immediately caught his attention.

[ Silent Cataclysm (S) When this skill is activated, everything suddenly becomes silent. Sound, wind, even the beating of the heart. After a few seconds of absolute silence, the cries of the seven headed goat of corruption rush into the enemy’s mind and attempt to destroy and disrupt it ]

It was clearly a mental attack skill. He barely had any of those, maybe one or two at most, and he had not expected to be so lucky to find one right now.

But to his surprise, he had really found a mental attack skill, and not just any skill but an S Rank one. Reading the description, it looked very powerful as well.

Especially the part about the seven headed goat of corruption. When he whispered its name, his body suddenly stiffened and a chilling cold swept through him.

It felt like all of his bones were about to snap. Cold sweat dripped down his face, and breathing became extremely difficult.

Fortunately, it only lasted for a few seconds before everything went back to normal. Still, Daniel was completely shocked. He hadn’t expected that just saying the name of that being would cause something like this.

Was it because the being noticed him when he spoke its name and this was a warning? But how strong did someone need to be to do something like that?

The thought itself was terrifying. Most likely at least the power of a Demi God was required.

He didn’t try saying the name again and simply copied the skill. He definitely needed to investigate that being when he had the time.

After that, he opened the panel of the last Rank A Corruption Worshiper. A quick look at the stats and skills showed that this one was much stronger than the previous six. The range of skills was also wider.

He checked through them carefully and then clicked on the one that caught his eye.

[ Glass Ocean (S) The entire area turns into an ocean of glass made from corruption. Any corruption user inside becomes fifty percent stronger while others become fifty percent weaker. Every step taken by those who are not corruption users causes them to sink into the ocean, and it might even swallow them completely ]

Daniel liked the concept of this skill. It reminded him of Glass Domain and in fact was very similar.

He didn’t think too much about it and clicked copy. If he could activate this skill at the same time as Glass Domain, his enemies’ strength would be massively reduced.

In theory, it could completely strip them of their power. Of course, in reality, once activated, there would definitely be variables, so the effects wouldn’t be that perfect.

”Now it’s time for the last one” he whispered to himself as another panel appeared in front of him. Naturally, this was the panel of the Archbishop of the Corruption Worshipers.

Just a glance at the stats made his face turn grim. All of them were higher than his, and not by a small amount but by a huge margin. The gap was enormous.

”Maybe even reaching Rank A won’t be enough to close the distance” Daniel frowned.

He had believed that once he reached Rank A, he would be able to stand against a False S Rank. But after seeing this Archbishop’s panel, that hope was shattered.

Of course, it had to be remembered that Corruption Worshipers were much stronger than their peers in the same rank. A False S Rank Corruption Worshiper might be two or three times stronger than a False S Rank Awakened.

Maybe when he reached Rank A, he could at least match a normal False S Rank Awakened. In the end, he wouldn’t know until he actually tried.

Before moving to the Archbishop’s skills, he glanced at his rank as a Fallen to see if a new one had appeared. The answer was no.

”Finally, an SS Rank skill” a smile appeared on Daniel’s face as he saw the strongest skill on the panel.
