Not long after sending Silia and Poison Bone away, Gu Xi heard news of the invaders being killed.

Seeing the battle report delivered to him, Gu Xi was speechless.

He mobilized more personnel, recruited Soul Summoning Leaders, and despite all the hurry, the number of troops drawn from Yalidov exceeded thirty thousand.

But the result was just over a hundred Centaurs killed.

This battle accomplishment was absurd.

”Forget it, as long as the matter is resolved, quickly handle the City Gate issue, I’ll have them bring over some corpses.”

Facing the current situation, Gu Xi could only let it go.

Since the Main City Gate was already open, Gu Xi simply decided not to go to Yalidov City, and directly have people bring over the corpses needing transformation.

After the situation just now, Gu Xi could already see the strategy from Poisonous Peach Mountain.

This is a major battle city; they don’t mind fighting.

Therefore, the combative Beastmen would be more suitable for the needs on Poisonous Peach Mountain.

As for the Human army, they are useful during large Legion battles, but their individual combat strength is really not as strong as the Beastmen.

Thus Gu Xi first had people deliver the Beastmen’s corpses and weapons and equipment.

Once these things were delivered, Gu Xi quickly got busy.

For these ordinary corpses, Gu Xi had no time to use the Undead Transformation ability.

He first released the Soul Summoning Tower, using the power of the Soul Summoning Tower and White Bone Obelisk for a large scale use of Soul Summoning Skill.

This kind of large-scale use of Soul Summoning Skill was not too difficult for Gu Xi to operate; the real challenge for Gu Xi was his insufficient mana issue.

After all, the mana consumption of Soul Summoning Skill is already considered the least; each summon, regardless of success or failure, consumes 1 point of mana.

There’s nothing more to reduce here.

Gu Xi’s Death City is useful, but it does not have summoning capability.

Facing a large number of corpses, it usually just throws them into the training camps of the Death City, waiting for weekly Undead Transformation from the training camps.

To quickly obtain a large number of Undead, it truly depends on the Undead Mage’s own summoning, or like Gu Xi’s Double Death method to capitalize.

But as the battle area expands, the summoning by Undead Mages becomes a troublesome task.

Because each time a summoning happens, it’s by the thousands or tens of thousands.

Undead Mage would not have such strong mana.

They would still have to replenish magic through various means on the battlefield, ultimately consuming a lot of time for summoning.

Anyway, that’s the situation Gu Xi is in right now.

The corpses pile up more and more, and he increasingly doesn’t want to summon.

Haven’t you seen that the corpses from these two consecutive battles have been sent to Yalidov City for so long, yet he hasn’t dealt with them at all?

Now there’s no choice, Gu Xi has to have people send the Beastmen corpses over here, to perform summoning on Poisonous Peach Mountain.

As for the Elf corpses buried under Poisonous Peach Mountain.

When the Soul Summoning Tower was put down, Gu Xi already sensed them.

But Gu Xi didn’t move them.

Gu Xi plans to let Poisonous Peach Mountain handle these corpses on their own; currently, Gu Xi providing the first batch of troops for Poisonous Peach Mountain is already sufficient.

Under Gu Xi’s Soul Summoning Skill, a large number of Beastmen corpses were transformed into the latest Undead.

Those Beastmen corpses in complete condition were all converted into Zombies, and the incomplete ones were converted into Ghosts.

This time Gu Xi didn’t use the power of White Bone Obelisk to turn all the Undead into Skeleton Soldiers.

It’s not that Gu Xi doesn’t want the level of Skeleton Soldiers, but Gu Xi understands very well what’s most important here on Poisonous Peach Mountain.

Poison.

If this point isn’t utilized, no matter how many Undead Corps are stationed here, it will be useless.

So during the summoning, Gu Xi focused more on Zombies and Ghosts suitable for toxic interactions.

As Gu Xi thought, the Zombies summoned here on Poisonous Peach Mountain are not the kind holding kitchen knives or axes.

Instead, they are chubby, covered in a green cloud.

They inherently carry poison clouds, and as they walk within the yellow-green poisonous gas, it is clearly visible that the poison cloud and gas on them engage in mutual exchange.

Evidently, this is the most suitable type of Undead for combat on Poisonous Peach Mountain.

Similarly, the Ghosts are in Beastmen form, floating mid-air, with semi-transparent bodies, but their color is not the common blue or pearl white of regular Ghosts, nor is it the special vermilion red.

It is the same yellow-green color as the toxic smoke here.

Their condition is similar to regular Ghosts, but they have an additional pounce poisoning skill.

This means, as long as a Ghost reaches an enemy, whether hitting them or accidentally colliding, the enemy will be poisoned.

This kind of skill is somewhat unscrupulous.

After all, during battles, it’s impossible never to encounter the enemy.

If encountering means being poisoned, that’s truly hard to defend against.

As for other troop types, there should be some, but there were no magic system corpses left among the Beastmen, so whether it is the Skeleton Mages mastering Poison Gas Bomb, or Corpse Witches mastering Poison Cloud Technique, none appeared here.

However, there was a batch of Skeleton Shooters supported by the White Bone Obelisk, gaining some level-up.

At the same time, they mastered poison gas arrow attack methods, providing a small supplement.

Silia seemed somewhat dissatisfied with the presence of these Skeleton Shooters.

As if not liking the shooting skills of Skeleton Shooters.

This point, Gu Xi could understand.

After all, the shooting skills of Elves greatly surpass Humans.

If not for Humans wielding heavy crossbows, they would definitely not be able to compare with Elves.

With ten thousand Elf corpses buried under Poisonous Peach Mountain, when Poisonous Peach Mountain transforms them, Skeleton Shooters would truly have no advantage at all.

So Silia being unimpressed with these Skeleton Shooters is quite reasonable.

But Gu Xi has no time to bother with such matters.

After completing the summoning of all Beastmen corpses, Gu Xi directly exhausted himself.

He found Kro, said to Kro, ”I’ve consumed too much mana, so I’ll rest here for a day, okay? Tomorrow I’ll follow you for archaeology?”

Kro was always staying on the mountain opposite Poisonous Peach Mountain, which hasn’t been occupied by poisonous gas yet.

Seeing Gu Xi’s drained appearance, Kro was also a bit speechless.

”Now I finally understand why you’re burn out with mana several times, with your summoning technique, ordinary people really can’t handle it; do all your flash Undead Mages fight so hard?”

If it’s always like this, has anyone considered how to reduce mana consumption even further?

To this novice question, Gu Xi paused momentarily.

Then he said somewhat helplessly, ”Typically, Undead Mages at this stage either proceed down the elite path, and start with Undead Transformation.

Or many Undead Mages gather together, with everyone sharing the burden, turning thousands of corpses in a brief moment.

I’m different, I’m just one person, encountering such situations, can only risk my life.”
