”Do not fuse for now. This city is not compatible with Yalidu City’s attributes, and fusing it would weaken Yalidu City’s cohesiveness.

After all, Yalidu City is not large enough now. My idea is, let’s acquire two more periods of Yalidu City.

Once we are stronger than this city itself, we can then integrate it.

Moreover, I personally believe that even integrating this city would be a bit wasteful if we forcibly dismantle its parcels and buildings.

My idea is to clear land outward from Yalidu Main City and use this area as a site for this city. We can use it as Yalidu’s satellite city.”

Luna glanced at the land title and quickly made her decision.

Gu Xi pondered for a while, realizing Luna’s idea was right. The land title in front had an underground city style. To integrate with Yalidu City, it either needs to be transformed into an Undead style, or to be placed far away.

However, the land title represents a complete city, though it is only Level 6, dismantling it for transformation would be somewhat wasteful.

Using it as a satellite city externally, to assist Gu Xi in raising black dragons, is a good approach.

”It can work.”

Gu Xi thought about Yalidu City’s current situation. Starting from Yalidu Main City, heading west toward Giant Garden leads to Sleeping Beauty Castle and Thorn Forest.

Heading north towards Steel City Gate leads towards Yalidov’s Tower.

Heading east towards the Garrison Gate leads to the Great Monarch’s territory, where Eldest Princess Anna was rescued, and nearby is Westminster Cathedral.

So, if placing this satellite city, the best direction is to head south and expand from the Main City Gate outward.

Yet, from the shadow just now, it’s clear this isn’t a small town, thus Luna’s concerns are quite reasonable.

Seeing Gu Xi agree, Luna nodded and then shared her thoughts.

”Sir, this small manor’s situation is quite good. There’s enough open space behind it, where we can set up a fixed city gate for your convenience to enter and exit Yalidu City.”

Gu Xi thought about it and agreed it was a good proposition.

Although Gu Xi himself could return to Yalidu City, he couldn’t bring much back with him.

If it were only a few trinkets, Gu Xi wouldn’t agree with Luna’s idea, and he wouldn’t fix the city gate.

However, the situation in Pei Xin City was different.

Though Pei Xin City claims not to be an economic center like Demon Chaos City,

it still offers many commodities. If Gu Xi fancies something, it could be delivered there, but transporting it back to Yalidu City is an issue.

Therefore, having a stationary city gate here seems like a good solution.

Additionally, with a fixed city gate here, Gu Xi’s troops could naturally enter and exit the manor.

At least this manor won’t be as deserted as it is now.

”Let’s arrange it that way, with a horizontally openable school gate for now, replacing it later with a more suitable city gate for deployment.”

As Gu Xi spoke, he walked out of the manor’s main building, glanced around, and deployed the horizontally openable school gate to the left of the main building.

As the school gate was deployed, a large number of White Impermanences flowed out from the city gate, quickly entering the main building and moving all the books piled into three stacks.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi turned to Luna and said, ”Let’s go. It’s been over a month since we returned to Yalidu City, who knows what it looks like now.”

”Yalidu City’s new district is nearly relocated, and several new structures you brought back are mostly built, except for the Evil Path Demon Hall and Pure White Cloud City aren’t finished yet.”

”Is it because of the Magic Tower issue?”

Gu Xi knew the reason right away.

The other prerequisites were manageable; the Magic Tower was indeed hard to upgrade.

Advancing a Magic Tower is not just about having materials; all magic within needs thorough research before leveling up.

Currently, Gu Xi’s Magic Towers are only Level 1, and rising to Levels 3 or 4 is uncertain for now.

Thus, they haven’t taken form yet, however, the seven Cloud Halls, with Eve’s help, have met most prerequisites, and can start construction anytime.

”Don’t worry, once we acquire several more periods of Yalidu City and integrate that land title, this won’t be a problem. I saw there was a Level 4 Magic Tower on that land title.

Then whether it’s angels or demons, we’ll have them both.”

Luna nodded; she held the land title, fully aware of its contents.

As the two conversed and joked, they passed through the horizontally openable school gate into Yalidu City.

This school gate was installed by Giant Garden.

Currently, Giant Garden, along with surrounding training camps and other structures, forms its own small area.

Upon entering, you can see blood-colored patterns on the stone ground.

These patterns tightly connect the Giant Graveyard District to the Blood Cave District.

Standing in front of the empty Giant Garden, Gu Xi couldn’t help but ask, ”How is Di Mi doing now?”

At this point, Shaya appeared behind Gu Xi and promptly responded, ”Di Mi is thriving in Yellow Springs.”

Gu Xi was a bit surprised, ”Has she grown up?”

”Yes, actually, Di Mi is suited for field battles, not sieges. In the wild, her commands are quite decisive. While she can’t defeat larger numbers with fewer troops, her army grows stronger from each well-fought battle.

Her level has also risen; from my latest intel, she has reached Level 8.”

”Has she ever come back?”

Gu Xi asked.

”No, it seems she understands that Yellow Springs Road is her last chance to prove herself, so she hasn’t returned, instead persistently completing tasks at the Soul Gathering Land.

She only sends information during each trading period at Blood Sacrifice Ridge, along with requests for reinforcements.

Recently, all vampires produced in the city have been reinforcing Di Mi’s troops.”
