Ice Age Apocalypse: I Hoard Billions of Supplies

Fatty Xu’s jaw dropped. The beautiful sight before him left him momentarily stunned.

He never expected that going out to fight would come with this special kind of fan service.

After Purgatory Star shed the leather clothing on her body, she was completely naked underneath.

Yet even as she stripped off her clothes in front of so many people, her face remained utterly expressionless.

A ninja had no sense of self, and certainly no ridiculous sense of pride.

As long as they could complete the mission, they could sacrifice themselves.

But this time, after Purgatory Star removed her clothes, she once again entered her invisible state.

”Watch out!”

Bai Chunyu transformed into a sky-filling blizzard of ice blades, enveloping Fatty Xu and Wu Di.

”She might be about to unleash some finishing move!”

Wu Di and Fatty Xu also became cautious.

”It’s fine! Even if she takes off her clothes, we can just dye her again!”

There was still plenty of Fluorescent Dye residue on the snow, so they didn’t have to worry about Purgatory Star sneaking up on them again.

The three of them braced themselves like they were facing a great enemy, waiting silently for Purgatory Star’s attack.

But a long time passed, and nothing they expected happened.

Because they didn’t know that Purgatory Star had already abandoned them, speeding toward the Tenshu Palace on Undying Mountain.

Purgatory Star didn’t care about the lives or deaths of the other Demon-Sealing Court Transcendents.

Bai Chunyu transformed into a sky-covering blizzard of ice blades, enveloping Fatty Xu and Wu Di.

Everything inside the Demon-Sealing Court was precious items Ultimate Evil Boy had collected over the years.

She would absolutely never allow anyone to touch those things!

”Swish!” ”Swish!” ”Swish!”

Turning into a streak of white through the waves, she simply covered her vital areas with a strip of cloth and headed straight for Tenshu Palace.

Soon she arrived at the palace gates.

But what her eyes took in made her pupils suddenly contract.

Corpses. The gates of Tenshu Palace were covered with the corpses of Demon-Sealing Court members!

Blood stained the ground red, and dozens of Demon-Sealing Court members in black suits lay in extremely gruesome deaths.

Purgatory Star clenched her silver teeth, gripped her katana, and charged straight through the gates of Tenshu Palace.

Meanwhile, inside Tenshu Palace, Deng Shentong and Liang Yue were examining the collection of items there.

Ultimate Evil Boy had once been a beggar on the streets, so his house was a complete mess.

All kinds of precious treasures were piled up in the room, and even his bed was buried among them.

The entire house was like a garbage dump filled with treasures.

Ancient weapons, paintings and calligraphy, gold ornaments-everything imaginable was there.

”There’s too much stuff. It won’t be easy to dig out what we’re looking for!”

Liang Yue kept her right hand on the hilt of Dragon’s Roar at all times, frowning as she spoke.

Deng Shentong let out a long sigh: ”At times like this, I really envy Zhang Yi!”

Back then, he had really wanted to recruit Zhang Yi to become a member of his Divine Punishment Squad!

”We’ll just have to search slowly.”

Liang Yue said helplessly.

”No, that won’t be necessary.”

Deng Shentong shook his head instead.

”If Ultimate Evil Boy understood the importance of those items, he wouldn’t have just tossed them casually into the junk pile.”

”I think the things we’re looking for were stored separately.”

Deng Shentong walked to the center of the room, rested his chin on his hand, and began simulating Ultimate Evil Boy’s thought process.

”If it were me... as the king of Neon, in my own territory, I wouldn’t bother hiding things away. And the things I loved most would have to be placed where I could see them at any time and pick them up to play with whenever I wanted.”

With that thought, he looked around, then walked toward the gaming area.

Several massive monitors were set up there, along with countless game consoles and cartridges.

He walked over, looked at the beanbag chair on the floor, reached his hand into the crevice of the chair, and pulled out a book.

”The original version of Wang Yangming’s Philosophy of the Mind has been found!”

He picked up that copy of Philosophy of the Mind and waved it at Liang Yue.

Meanwhile, Liang Yue had reached under the TV cabinet and pulled out a transparent rectangular box. ”I’ve found the Dragon Specimen too.”

The precious Dragon Specimen was actually placed right in the middle of a pile of figurines. Right next to Hatsune Miku and Suzumiya Haruhi.

To the hardcore fans of Neon, their status was incredibly lofty, so this made perfect sense.

The two exchanged a smile. The mission was finally complete, and they could leave this place and return to the Jiangnan Region.

Suddenly, Liang Yue’s brow furrowed.

She put away the specimen, and her right hand pulled Dragon’s Roar from its sheath with a sharp clang.

”Someone’s coming!”

”Just one person.”

Deng Shentong said.

The next moment, Purgatory Star charged into Tenshu Palace with her katana in hand, her face full of fury.

When she saw the two of them, her originally beautiful features twisted in an instant.

”How dare you break into Tenshu Palace! You deserve to die! You all deserve to die!”

Deng Shentong smiled slightly. ”We just came to take back what belongs to our country. That shouldn’t be too much to ask, should it?”

Liang Yue said coldly, ”Why waste so much nonsense talking to her?!”

She raised the Dragon’s Roar in her hand, and a pure killing intent instantly spread through the air.

When Purgatory Star met Liang Yue’s eyes, she instantly felt like she had fallen into an ice cave.

Those dark, icy-cold eyes were like something out of a ghost god from hell.

She was going to be killed!

She was definitely going to be killed!

But right now, she didn’t want to die yet!

Rage couldn’t make someone strong. Liang Yue’s killing intent suddenly snapped Purgatory Star back to reality, and made her realize one thing.

When these two people appeared in Tenshu Palace, it meant that Narumi Soji and Maeda Uichiro had already fallen in battle!

How could she, as the Third Squad Captain, possibly stand against these two?

Her hand reached behind her, pulled out two smoke bombs, and slammed them hard against the ground.

”Boom!!”

A massive cloud of smoke instantly filled the entire palace.

Liang Yue’s gaze sharpened, and her long blade was already in motion. Powerful blue psychic energy radiated from her like a storm, sweeping in all directions!

The smoke was blown away in an instant, and the treasures in the palace went flying everywhere. Some crashed into the walls and were shattered.

Deng Shentong clicked his tongue twice. ”Don’t be so wasteful!”

Liang Yue scanned the area, but Purgatory Star was nowhere to be seen.

”She got away.”

Deng Shentong shrugged. ”These ninjas are really cunning! But she’s just a small fry. No need to bother with her. We’ve already got what we came for. Let’s notify Zhang Yi and get out of here as soon as possible!”

As he spoke, he opened the communication channel and said cheerfully to Zhang Yi:

”Boss Zhang, I’ve got good news! We’ve got the items. We can start heading back now.”

But Zhang Yi’s reply froze the smile right off his face.

”We can’t leave for now! The entire Edo City has been sealed off! My ability can’t get out of here. And come outside and see what the situation looks like out here!”

Deng Shentong was stunned for a moment, then turned his head to look outside.

The two of them came to the entrance of Tenshu Palace. Earlier, they had been focused on climbing the mountain and hadn’t noticed what was happening below.

Now, when they took a careful look, they almost threw up.

The entire Edo City had turned into a giant cesspool, crawling with enormous maggots everywhere!

And around Undying Mountain was the worst concentration of them all.
