Helping Beautiful Women Become Stronger, I Have a Love System

64: Chapter 64 He Caihua invites Cao Kun to her homeOnly then did Xiang Ze Nan look up, a gentle smile appearing on her face: ’We were university classmates. We happened to meet again at a hometown association gathering, and slowly...’

’It was love at first sight,’ He Caihua took over, reaching out to hold Xiang Ze Nan’s hand, gazing at her affectionately. ’The first time I saw Ze Nan, I thought, how can this girl be so pretty, and with such a good personality? I had to pursue her.’

As she said this, her expression and tone were both sincere.

Cao Kun observed carefully but couldn’t detect any flaws.

The interaction between the two was natural and intimate, and the look in Xiang Ze Nan’s eyes as she gazed at He Caihua was full of love.

Could the system’s judgment be wrong?

Was He Caihua truly sincere about Xiang Ze Nan?

Cao Kun felt a bit puzzled.

The dinner proceeded in a pleasant atmosphere.

He Caihua was very talkative, sharing many amusing stories about herself and Xiang Ze Nan. She also asked Cao Kun some questions about his work, but didn’t probe into his personal assets like she had at the beginning.

While responding, Cao Kun secretly observed, yet never found any concrete evidence proving He Caihua was a heartbreaker.

This left him somewhat frustrated.

It seemed this task wasn’t so simple; it would require more time and opportunities to see the truth clearly.

After the meal, Cao Kun politely offered to drive them home.

Just as Xiang Ze Nan was about to politely decline, He Caihua Firstsaid: ’Then we’ll trouble you! It’s not easy to get a taxi this late.’

Cao Kun was somewhat surprised.

He had thought the two might want some alone time to be affectionate, but He Caihua seemed quite happy to have him drive them.

’No trouble at all, my car is parked nearby,’ Cao Kun said.

The three walked out of the restaurant, greeted by the cool night breeze.

Cao Kun went to get the car while Xiang Ze Nan and He Caihua waited by the roadside.

Soon, Cao Kun drove up in front of them.

The two women opened the door and sat in the back seat.

’Take Xiao Nan home first, her place is closer,’ He Caihua said, fastening her seatbelt.

’Alright,’ Cao Kun responded.

A faint perfume scent filled the car, coming from He Caihua. It was a strong, sensual fragrance, completely different from the light, elegant scent on Xiang Ze Nan.

Along the way, He Caihua actively initiated conversation, moving from today’s meal to Zhongzhou’s nightlife, and then from nightlife to what Cao Kun usually liked to do.

Her voice sounded particularly clear in the enclosed space of the car, carrying a deliberately soft and charming tone.

Xiang Ze Nan’s home was soon reached.

Before getting out, she thanked Cao Kun again, exchanged a few quiet words with He Caihua, then turned and walked into the Residential Complex.

Now only Cao Kun and He Caihua remained in the car.

He Caihua got out from the back and moved to sit in the front passenger seat.

Cao Kun watched He Caihua’s action with some surprise.

However, he didn’t comment, instead starting the car.

’Caihua, where do you live?’

’Jinhe Residential Complex, in the west of the city,’ He Caihua gave an address, then suddenly added, ’Cao Kun, I really want to thank you especially today. Xiao Nan’s parents have been pressuring her a lot about marriage, she’s under immense stress. If it weren’t for your help, she wouldn’t know what to do.’

’Friends should help each other, it’s only right,’ Cao Kun replied cautiously.

He Caihua turned sideways, facing Cao Kun, leaning slightly towards him. Her tone took on a meaningful quality: ’You’re such a good person... there aren’t many men these days willing to help like this.’

Now they were only about ten or twenty centimeters apart.

Cao Kun could clearly smell the fragrance on He Caihua.

Before he could speak.

He Caihua’s hand suddenly rested lightly on his thigh, her fingers tapping intermittently.

It was a very ambiguous gesture.

His heart sank. He finally understood something.

The system was right.

This He Caihua had problems.

Cao Kun’s face remained impassive as he drove steadily, but his mind was in turmoil.

He Caihua’s fingers on his leg tapped lightly, almost imperceptibly. The sensation transmitted through the thin fabric of his trousers was unnervingly ambiguous.

He cleared his throat, speaking in as calm a tone as possible: ’You flatter me. Xiao Nan is so beautiful and has such a great personality. If she asked for help, I believe any man would.’

As Xiang Ze Nan’s partner, hearing someone praise her partner should logically make He Caihua happy.

However, He Caihua’s voice held little joy, instead carrying a subtleemotion. ’Xiao Nan is indeed pretty. So, what do you think of me?’

Cao Kun’s grip on the steering wheel tightened.

The question was too sudden, too direct.

He glanced quickly at He Caihua and found her turned towards him, one hand propping her chin, her gaze fixed directly on him, a faint smile playing on her lips.

This was absolutely not the attitude a lesbian woman should have towards a man.

’You?’ Cao Kun forced a relaxed laugh. ’You’re also very beautiful, and quite sexy too. Honestly, the fact that both of you are lesbians is a real loss for us men.’

He Caihua’s eyes lit up, and she leaned forward a bit more. ’You really think so?’

’Of course,’ Cao Kun said, watching the road ahead but keeping He Caihua’s movements in his peripheral vision.

’Actually, you don’t know me well,’ He Caihua’s voice grew even softer.

’I have a good personality too, and I’m multi-talented. Would you like to know more about me? I can tell you.’

Cao Kun put on an interested expression. ’Sure, we still have a way to go to your place. Tell me about yourself!’

He Caihua seemed encouraged, her tone becoming more lively. ’I can do a lot! Singing, dancing, cooking... and I’m especially good at taking care of people. Even Xiao Nan says she feels I feel especially safe with me.’

As she spoke, her hand moved further on Cao Kun’s leg, this time pressing directly on the outer side of his thigh.

Cao Kun resisted the urge to push her hand away and continued playing along. ’Really? Then you truly are all-around talented.’

’Oh, just talking is so boring,’ He Caihua suddenly said, her voice carrying an obvious lure.

’It’s still early, only a little past nine. I live alone, so... how about we buy some beer and barbecue, go to my place, drink and chat?’

Cao Kun’s heart jolted.

He knew He Caihua might have ill intentions.

But he hadn’t expected her to be so brazen as to invite a man she just met to her home for drinks.

And this right after Xiang Ze Nan had just left.

This was no longer an implication; it was almost an explicit proposition.

’To your place?’ Cao Kun feigned hesitation. ’That... isn’t it inappropriate? It’s quite late.’

’What’s inappropriate about it?’ He Caihua chuckled softly. ’We’re both adults. What’s wrong with chatting and having a drink? Or are you... afraid I’ll do something to you?’

As she spoke, her finger traced a small circle on Cao Kun’s leg.

Cao Kun’s skin crawled, but a surge of excitement rose within him.

The opportunity had arrived!

If He Caihua really was the heartbreaker the system described, tonight was the best chance to gather evidence.

They say in vino veritas.

After drinking, perhaps He Caihua would say something advantageous for Cao Kun.

Or, even better, He Caihua might directly use the influence of alcohol to sleep with him.

’Afraid?’ Cao Kun deliberately used a provocativetone.

’What would I, a grown man, be afraid of?’

’It’s you who should be worried. Aren’t you afraid of what I might do to you?’
