Lord Shadow

Chapter 2039: Tribulation

Tribulations clouds, turbulation calamities.

In the Three Thousand Worlds, when there isa tribulation, all under heaven could not calculate fate and fortune.

The secrets of heaven that was so clear to heavenly beings and above, are blurry and confusing.

And when the tribulation is ongoing, even the wisest make mistakes because the heavenly will is guiding the people to make certain choices.

When a tribulation occurs, there is a reason for it to occur.

The heavenly Will wanted to achieve something

But it is also taken into account the will of the people.

When the will of the world and the will of the heaven seems to reach agreement, the tribulation begins?

Of course, there is prerequisite to tribulations

However, the situation on Earth is very different.

Here, there is a Heavenly Will.

But the Heavenly Will does not control everything.

In a way, it is incomplete.

Because Death Monarch hold one third of the Heavenly Will.

Hence, unlike in the Three Thousand worlds, it could not just start a tribulation by himself.

And this tribulation is not initiated by the Heavenly Will

Instead, it is initiated by Azief.

However, he himself probably did not expect things to be like this.

He expected the killings.

He expected the war, the murder, the plots and intrigues, the interference from foreign power....he expected all of this.

What he didn’t expect that it suddenly turns into tribulations.

Those who could see fate and destiny and could see cause and effect, if they open their eyes that could see this cause and effect, they would see there is red clouds above the skies of Pandemonium

But they would not understand what they are seeing and they could not see the changes of fates and fortune hidden in that red clouds.

Azief is looking at it right now.

Above the surface, above the mines.

He is now back at the surface.

Not in the palace, not in the gardens, not even near the battlefield.

But he is one of the many mountains in Pandemonium.

Pandemonium is vast.

And there is many kingdoms and regimes.

Some chooses to be a city state.

And some choose to unify these city states and formed a kingdom

Reportedly, there is around thirty-six kingdoms more or less.

Though, it is increasing by the year.

And there are hundreds of city states scattered all over Pandemonium.

Some gain their land and their legitimacy through the governors.

Some gained legitimacy by the writ and warrant of Wang Jian, Freya and Athena.

They are kings.

They have military titles and nobility title given to them by Azief himself.

Then there are those who gain their legitimacy from the central government.

Each tier of legitimacy is based on power.

Those who were recognized by him is the one on the highest tier.

Those who are recognized by the central government is on the second tier.

Those who are legitimized by the kings are on the third tier.

And so on and so forth.

Though this tier is never formalized, everyone believed it to be so.

Like some kind of unspoken rule and laws.

Azief is not here to think and solve about kingdoms tiers or the legitimacies of regimes and kingdoms in his empire.

No, that is not why he is here.

He is here to watch the skies.

There is no Katarina beside him this time.

He already told Katarina all the things she should know.

And if there is anything she wanted to know later, she could always come to Pandemonium.

She needs to go back to the Republic and settle some things.

Remind them of some things and not to do certain things.

Azief look at the sky, at the resentment and at those energies and he smiles

”I could hear it. A Song....No...a lament” he mutters to himself.

Azief had shown to Katarina everything that he’s been planning and he is sure Katarina also have some things she needed to adjust.

She had assuaged her worries and now it is time for him to do somethings.

He looks at the sky and he just look at it.

He is standing there and as time passes, the evening turns to sunset, and sunset turns to night.

Everything else fades into the background, the only thing that exist now is him and the sky

And then he looks back in front of him and he realizes it was night.

Around him there are many beast all of them are of titanic proportion.

Many of them come out form the forest.

The forests in the world after the Multiversal Convergence and after he merge and separated the Ten Seas are wilder.

The environment is like the early years of the dinosaurs.

The trees are so high it blotted the sunlight.

There is titanic beast all over, and there are titanic trees.

And some trees are even magical and sinister just like the best that resides in it.

Azief look toward his right and his eyes pierce through the forest and rest on a village deep in the forest.

This village has only around twenty people.

The hut is quite novel, large enough and practical enough like some kind of house in the shire only this house is on top of a soil and around it is tall trees.

Any normal village would have bene destroyed by the attack of beast and insects that roams this kind of forest

In Pandemonium such forest would first be cleared by the army and then people would move in either to build villages or cities.

Those who choose to live without a permit and the assistance of the army are usually self-sufficient and powerful

Azief look again and this time he uses his Divine Sense.

But he tones it down.

He is not trying to attack these people. He is just trying to make sense of this people realm

Some people when they use their Divine Sense, it would immediately be noticed.

But Azief had learned that Divine Sense is not just this kind of radar thing to sense danger.

There is many application for it.

But one of the most important thing about Divine Sense is simply to refine it.

If one need to have a mental image of it, it is like kneading something until it became as fine as silk.

His Divine Sense fills that village and after making sense of the people in the village and their realm of power, Azief quickly retracts his Divine Sense

He could not help but shake his head

”Among the people in that village, one of them could break through to Divine Comprehension already. But he chooses not to.

”Is that because of his method or is it because he did not want to attract attention? His foundation of power is very different”

”Another person that did not follow the system,” he mutters and Azief could not help but chuckles.

He seeks the path of perfection.

Path of perfection is actually simple.

But also, hard.

The simplicity does not mean it is easy.

Instead, the simpler the way, the harder for one to achieve it.

That person uses the method of gathering cores.

”A new method and a new path” Azief mutters.

’Like those Golden Cores in the many worlds of the Jade Empires. Instead of Disk Formation, it is Core Formation”

”Yet, the early realm was all the realm method of the system”

Azief paused for a moment and then he nodded to himself

”Maybe this person had went to one of the Three Thousand Worlds under the Jade Empire and decided to modify the cultivation method of the system. And it even works”

He paused for a second and then he shook his head

”or maybe he deduces that it could be created like a Core Formation. Imagination after all shapes certain magic”

Azief smiles and then he chuckles

”Accidentally or intentionally?” he mutters to himself

”This person is more interesting than I thought” Azief thought to himself. even now, as his eyes gaze on that person, he could feel that aura of his changing the rules and laws around him.

His fortune and luck are also changing. Whether this is bad or not, even Azief is not sure. The fortune and luck that is gathering around him is not clear yet.

Whether it is a good fortune or bad fortune, it is the result of his actions. Most of the things in the world could not be separated from one own actions

Fate and destiny of course play a part in one choosing a decision.

As for the laws...Azief shook his head.

No, it is not really him changing the rules and laws. It is the rules and laws of the world adapting to him.

The energy that is present on earth is quite different from any other energies that is present in other worlds and universe. In some worlds if the energies and methods did not conform to the rules and laws of that world, that world would try to pressure you to abandon that method or expel you from that world.

Earth is different in that it embraces all kinds of methods, truly like all seas embracing all the waters of the rivers

Azief among all others knows certain rules of magic. And there is something about imagination that sometimes shapes magic.

Feelings, emotions, thoughts, wishes, desires, these intangible things....made tangible.

And imagination is the strongest thing any thinking beings had. However, even imagination is sometimes limited
