Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Chapter 1456  New Teacher

Quinlan did not comment on the tone. He turned back toward the field instead.

Dragnar faced him squarely with massive arms folded.

”Thank you, Dragnar. Both of us learned something valuable here.”

Lucille echoed the gesture without hesitation. ”More than one thing!”

Dragnar regarded them in silence for a long moment, his gaze passing from Quinlan to Lucille and back again. Then he nodded once.

”See that it is not wasted,” he decreed.

There was no farewell beyond that.

Quinlan turned away then, while Lucille remained. He left the training field behind.

Nyxaraʼs presence shifted, attention refocusing as the surroundings changed.

”Go left here,” she instructed.

He moved through familiar paths, then beyond them, the architecture gradually shifting as the ground gave way to darker lines and subtler curves and shadows that were layered. The air itself felt different here, quieter in a way that suggested watchful eyes rather than peace.

Soon, he arrived.

The path narrowed, and the air grew cooler as a wide cave mouth opened before him, shadowed and deep enough that its interior swallowed light after only a few steps. Someone stood just outside it with a posture a little too straight, evidenced by her hands clasped together in front of her.

Ria, the blonde assassin fangirl of Quinlan who accompanied Feng, Felicity, Lyra, and Iris on their Ravenshade adventure, looked up the moment she sensed him.

Her breath caught visibly.

She had seen Quinlan before, of course, but something about him now made it even harder to look away than before, which was already a truly hard task if one were to ask her.

Perhaps it was the way his frame carried itself with quiet certainty, or the demonic markings etched into his skin, standing out against flesh that had been honed even further than before. Her gaze flicked over him before she could stop herself, heat rushing to her face as her heart began to pound far too loudly in her ears.

Quinlan slowed as he approached, taking her in with a calm glance.

”Are you waiting for me?”

She nodded quickly, then hesitated, cheeks already pink. ”Y-yes. I am.”

He tilted his head slightly. ”Why would you do that? Are you tired?”

”I lost a game,” she admitted with her words spilling out even faster now. ”So this is my punishment. But I donʼt mind…”

”A game?” Quinlan echoed.

She made a small, helpless gesture with one hand. ”Lady Kiryssa makes us play games. The loser gets punished. That woman is a sadist.”

”I see,” Quinlan sighed. ”Then letʼs go in, shall we? Letʼs get this over with.”

Ria took a step, then froze, eyes widening as if she had just remembered something vital. ”W-wait, please let me say something first!!”

He raised an eyebrow, stopping without showing any impatience. ”Oh? Go ahead.”

She drew in a sharp breath and then barreled forward as if afraid she would lose her nerve if she paused even for a heartbeat.

”Thank you for relocating my father; you likely saved his life! Thank you for bringing me into this realm when you had absolutely no reason to do so! I learned more from Kiryssa in these two weeks than I ever could by training for years under Ravenshadeʼs best assassins, and also I never got to congratulate you on your success yet, so congratulations,” she finished in one breath. Her face was burning a deep tomato red by the time she finished as her eyes flicked, unavoidably, to the markings on his skin that marked the end of a battle she had only witnessed from the edges.

She, too, observed his war against Nyxara in the dome. She, too, understood what exactly it meant for him to succeed, what those markings represented.

A sex demon… conquered.

The blonde fangirl stood there afterward with her chest rising and falling as she tried to recover.

She failed.

Quinlan stared at her for a moment, then a slow, wicked grin tugged at his mouth. He reached out and gave her shoulder a brief, firm pat.

”Youʼre welcome, and thanks. It feels good to be congratulated; that victory was truly hard fought.”

Riaʼs blush deepened to a near-violent shade as her brain short-circuited, shoulders tensing under his touch before she nodded far too many times in quick succession.

Nyxaraʼs voice slid into his mind with shameless delight.

”You do know you could easily bed this girl whenever you wanted, right? Sheʼs fangirling over you hard; itʼs so cute. I bet sheʼd agree even if you told her to get on her knees and open her mouth right here and now. You didnʼt even lie with Lucille during the week-long torture. Get some comfort in before you meet Kiryssa.”

”…” Quinlan did not answer.

He let a few seconds pass, eyes on the cave entrance, on the darkness waiting beyond it, before he sighed quietly.

”Letʼs go,” he said, already turning toward the shadows.

Ria hurried after him, heart still racing as she followed him into the cave.

The cave swallowed them whole the moment they crossed the threshold, the light behind fading quickly until stone and shadow closed in from all sides, and Quinlan felt the familiar shift ripple through his senses as his primordial sight answered the need without conscious command. His platinum eyes darkened with deep red bleeding through, and the darkness peeled back into depth.

Their steps echoed softly at first, then less so as the space widened and narrowed in irregular rhythms, forcing them into long stretches of quiet walking where the only sounds were breath, footfall, and the distant drip of water falling from heights unseen.

Ria stayed close without crowding him. Time stretched in the way it did underground, losing its edges, until the tunnel finally began to slope downward and then outward, the ceiling lifting gradually as the air changed again.

The passage opened.

Before them spread a vast subterranean expanse where stone gave way to sweeping caverns and towering formations with columns rising and bridges arching across chasms lit by bioluminescent growths that cast muted blues and violets across the landscape. Quinlan took a single step forward.

Just then, something moved beneath him.

Kiryssa materialized upward from his shadow as if the darkness itself had decided to take form with the tip of a dagger resting against his back.

”You lost~” she purred.

Quinlan did not flinch.

He turned smoothly despite the blade pressed so close, red-lit eyes settling on the drow who had risen from his shadow like a bad habit given form. His gaze flicked briefly to the dagger, then back to her face.

Kiryssa clicked her tongue and withdrew the weapon just enough to be theatrical about it, her lips pushing into an exaggerated pout. ”Youʼre no fun at all! You were supposed to throw your arms in the air and beg for mercy!”

Quinlan sighed. ”Iʼm sorry. Having a constantly chittering succubus in my head mustʼve sucked the humor out of me.”

”Hah?” Nyxara gasped, scandalized. ”Excuse me?”

Kiryssaʼs eyes lit up instantly, amusement sharpening into something bright and wicked. She giggled, the sound lilting and dangerous all at once. ”Hehe! She sucked your life essence, and now sheʼs sucking your joy of life too. How typical. Thatʼs the Primordial Wench for you.”

”HEY!” Nyxara snapped, then went darker, sharper. ”Look at this bitch talk now that I canʼt beat her up. Sheʼs going on my hit list, too!”

Quinlan ignored the internal storm with practiced ease. ”So what are we going to be doing here?”

”Hmm…” The shift was immediate.

Kiryssaʼs mirth drained away, replaced by something colder, something that made the air itself feel tighter. Her gaze darkened as she straightened, posture changing from playful to predatory in a single breath, and a faint, crawling sensation crept along Quinlanʼs spine as instinct screamed its warning.

Slowly, deliberately, she lifted the dagger to her lips.

Her tongue traced the edge in an unhurried, sensual motion, eyes never leaving his as the metal caught the cavernʼs glow.

”A game,” she purred softly. ”One where you play the role of the prey… and Iʼm the hunter.”

She tilted her head, and her smile returned, but there was no humor in it now.

”I recommend you start running, son of Mearie and Luminara. I love your mothers. Thatʼs why I wonʼt go easy on you.”

The cavern seemed to hold its breath.

And then…

The hunt began.
