The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 1341: Chapter 1341: Surveillance Footage Deleted

The seven days of filming with the seven little ghosts were not completed, but no one had the mood to continue filming on this Little Island.

The director felt he needed to rest properly, at least heal his injuries, before considering what to do next.

After this incident, he dared not go to the no-man’s land again.

He originally thought going to the no-man’s land would reduce trouble, who knew such a thing would happen.

The staff dismantled all the surveillance in the villa and asked the director, ”Can these materials still be used?”

There was even footage of pirates, scenes where the pirates dragged Zhuge Xunming’s parents away.

The director, with a headache, waved his hand: ”You handle it yourself.”

The staff felt it was inappropriate and deleted these videos.

When the director was tossing and turning in the hospital room and suddenly remembered these videos, he excitedly got up and called the staff at midnight, ”Those videos, they’re still there, right?”

The staff, woken up, was already grumpy about getting out of bed. Hearing it was about this, he replied irritably, ”Deleted, what’s the use of keeping those things? They’ve long been deleted!”

The director opened his mouth to say something, but the person on the other end of the phone had already hung up.

”Beep beep beep——”

Hearing the unceremonious hang-up from the other end, the director frowned.

He could clearly feel that after this incident, the staff’s attitude towards him had changed, lacking the previous respect and faintly showing dissatisfaction.

”Looks like I need to change a batch of people.”

The director sighed.

He finally thought of a way to turn the situation around, but the videos were deleted.

He had originally thought of editing the content to make it look like the director’s team had hired people to disguise as pirates to trouble the seven little ghosts, and at that time these materials could be used. The content was novel and seemingly real and fake, which the audience would surely love.

It might infringe on the pirates’ image rights, but they were already locked up and couldn’t stir up any trouble. If they insisted, giving them some money wouldn’t be without benefit to them. After they got out, they could use the show’s recordings as interview materials and find some extra and low-tier roles.

But now everything was in vain.

He deeply regretted instructing the staff to handle it themselves.

Only two or three days of this season were filmed, and there wasn’t much content to edit. Adding Zhuge Xunming’s disappearance, even if the previous content was released, the audience might not buy it.

For now, the only option was to select a new location, choose a substitute for Zhuge Xunming, inform the six little ghosts, and arrange to reshoot.

...

Cheng Guodong received a call from the director of the Little Ghost Home program, ”Check which day a month from now Little Taotie is free, and if he can spare seven days to finish the program?”

Cheng Guodong raised his eyebrows, squinting his dangerous eyes: ”Are you saying start from day one again?”

The director swallowed and spoke weakly, ”Yes... that’s it.”

Cheng Guodong sneered: ”And the previous content? Did you eat it?”

The director’s voice grew feebler: ”It was deleted by the staff, because it involved pirates and Zhuge Xunming also disappeared, using the original video wouldn’t be appropriate.”

”Not appropriate?” Cheng Guodong sneered: ”Three days of the seven-day contract have been completed, even if pirates came, it can’t change anything. According to the contract, only four days are left for Little Taotie to complete.”

”It’s just a piece of paper, it can be changed anytime.” The director hurriedly said.
