The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 1340: Chapter 1340: Zhuge Xunming Is Missing

Gu Lanxin snatched her son over, ”Go shave your beard quickly!”

Hua’s father heard that his son was trapped on the island by pirates and rushed over immediately. He was originally filming with the crew and had no time to shave due to the hectic schedule, and even more so after arriving, as he was solely worried about his son and had no time to pay attention to his appearance.

Both his wife and son disliked his appearance, and although Hua’s father felt a bit down, he obediently took out an electric shaver from his backpack and shaved on the spot.

The pirates on the entire island were captured by armed men sent by three surrounding countries. Although this Little Island is in a no man’s land, it’s actually under the joint jurisdiction of three countries.

The night on the island was very quiet, with only the sound of insects chirping.

But to the director, this sound was extremely irritating.

Out of the seven little ghosts, one was missing, and the show couldn’t go on.

When the situation was under control and the island was completely safe, the armed forces of the three countries withdrew. They seemed to have forgotten to look for Zhuge Xunming, or perhaps intentionally forgot.

Zhuge Xunming is not a resident of the island, plus his nationality doesn’t belong to any of the three countries, and he has an inexplicable connection with the pirates. For the three countries, not finding him might be easier to deal with than finding him.

Zhuge Xunming’s parents drowned at sea, and his grandmother passed away from a heart attack due to this, leaving Zhuge Xunming with no relatives.

Without someone close to him reporting him missing, no one seemed to be searching for him.

The director was torn about whether to stand out and look for Zhuge Xunming, although he knew that the chances of finding him were slim.

He was also conflicted about which police station to report to.

Should he go to Zhuge Xunming’s registered residence, or report him missing where he disappeared...

It was too complicated, and in the end, the director fell asleep.

It seemed that being asleep, he no longer had to struggle with these questions or search for Zhuge Xunming.

Instinctively, he chose to evade, and not to look for Zhuge Xunming, letting him continue to be in a missing state seemed like the best situation.

After all, Zhuge Xunming is a nine-year-old child. Even if found, with no parents or relatives, he would only end up in an orphanage or welfare institution. His future days wouldn’t necessarily be better.

The fact that the female pirate could escape with Zhuge Xunming at the last moment showed that she cared about him. After all, technically, she birthed him, and from the ancient perspective, this is a blood connection, this is her biological son.

As long as Zhuge Xunming doesn’t do anything foolish, she’ll likely treat him well.

The director comforted himself, and the next morning acted as if nothing happened, neither reporting the incident nor mentioning Zhuge Xunming ever again.

For all the staff, Zhuge Xunming’s name became a taboo.

Little Taotie and Hua Jinyan didn’t give up on Zhuge Xunming, they reported it to the police, but the local police seemed indifferent, and they weren’t sure if the police even went to look for him.

Hua Jinyan asked his mother to send someone to search, and Gu Lanxin naturally didn’t refuse her son’s request, but with the vast ocean, where could they find this person?

No one knew where the female pirate would take the child, not even which country they might settle in, or if they’d hide on an unclaimed island.
