The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 1252: Chapter 1252: Pretending to Take Medicine Three Times a Day

Little Taotie hugged the teddy bear in a pink sweater tightly, not even sure how she got on the plane, still a bit drowsy and confused.

Chen Zi handed her a cup of milk tea: ”Drink some tea, it’ll perk you up.”

Little Taotie took it, slurped a big sip, and felt more awake.

”Didn’t you say winter break is for rest, no school, no work, no Special Department, and I could play for the entire holiday?”

Chen Zi laughed out loud: ”Don’t you want to earn money to buy a house? This job pays a lot.”

The little girl, who was initially pouting reluctantly, pursed her lips, her Little Dimple deepening, and asked softly: ”How much?”

Chen Zi chuckled: ”It’s M money, five million.”

Little Taotie took out her phone.

She had become quite skilled at using her phone, found the app for currency conversion, and immediately calculated the difference.

The little girl’s Little Dimple deepened even more.

”No slacking, have to get up and earn the money!” Little Taotie clenched her little fist to cheer herself up.

She had already decided that once she completed the job and got paid, which would be around the New Year, she would donate it all to help the brothers, sisters, and siblings in disaster areas have a good New Year!

”What kind of show is it, can I do it well?”

Such a large payment made Little Taotie anxious about not doing well and risking deductions.

Chen Zi smiled and handed her a piece of strawberry cake: ”It’s a variety show called Little Ghost Takes Charge.”

”As the name implies, seven children under ten years old temporarily form a family to become brothers and sisters. Without parents at home, you seven must take care of and support each other for a week.”

Little Taotie blinked: ”Do we cook for ourselves, wash our own clothes, clean our own rooms?”

”More or less, but you can’t just look out for yourself. You also need to take care of the other brothers and sisters, helping each other. During these seven days, the production team will also throw some troubles your way, and you’ll need to calmly handle all the issues that might arise when parents aren’t around.”

”Will we be given money?”

”You won’t be given money, and they’ll also confiscate any money you have.”

”Then... will they take away my snacks?”

”Yes.”

Little Taotie: ”...What will they give us?”

”Ingredients for cooking, perhaps some simple semi-finished products, like sausages or chicken nuggets, which just need to be heated in an oven.”

Little Taotie breathed a small sigh of relief: ”At least we won’t starve.”

Subconsciously, her small hand gripped the Horse-Faced Bell hanging at her waist, thinking that if worse came to worst, she could fill her stomach with Evil Spirit Chocolate, living off just Evil Spirit Chocolate for seven days.

Chen Zi noticed Little Taotie’s action and shook his head: ”There are cameras in every corner, you can’t just conjure Evil Spirit Chocolate out of nowhere.”

Little Taotie looked at him incredulously, her eyes seeming to accuse: You’re making things difficult for me!

With Evil Spirit Chocolate, she could control her appetite; without it, she needed to eat several times more than an adult, and might still not feel full.

”How many pieces of Evil Spirit Chocolate do you need daily to maintain a normal kid’s appetite?”

Little Taotie raised three fingers.

”Three pieces.”

Little Taotie nodded.

”Give me 21 pieces of Evil Spirit Chocolate, and I’ll grind them into powder, then put them into capsules. Then you can take them three times a day during meal times like medicine.”

Little Taotie: ”...I’ll be like a walking medicine jar.”

”It’s alright, we’ll disguise them as vitamin capsules and some kids’ nutritional supplements.”

”...Alright then.” Little Taotie’s small, soft voice was muffled: ”I won’t even taste the chocolate, it’ll just go straight down.”
