The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 880: Chapter 880: A Trustworthy Face Gets More Chances

Little Taotie mumbled softly, ”I don’t want to play the bad guy.”

Lei Fang was taken aback for a moment, then laughed heartily, ”Alright!”

Little Taotie puffed up angrily.

Lei Fang bent down, smiling as he watched the little girl’s puffed-up face, and asked, ”Do you really hate playing the bad guy that much?”

Little Taotie looked at him; there’s still no Flower above her head!

Little Taotie lowered her head, somewhat frustrated, ”Playing a bad guy gets you seen as one, and nobody likes a bad guy. It’s meaningless.”

She wanted to be a likable actress, with lots of fans and lots of Faith Power.

If she played a bad guy, she might even lose fans!

Little Taotie’s face was resistant, her angry eyes glaring at Chen Zi.

Brother Chen Zi is the worst!

Fang shook his head, ”How could it be meaningless?”

”If it weren’t for this movie, would you have thought of teaching everyone martial arts for self-defense?”

Little Taotie was stunned, her big eyes unblinking as she looked at him, as if stormy waves were rolling in her round eyes.

”Many things can’t be judged just by appearances. Shaping a character isn’t just about whether it’s a positive or negative role, but about what the whole drama is conveying and what this character is supposed to convey.”

Upon hearing this, Little Taotie felt somewhat dazed.

The director told her that actors usually aren’t picky about roles or casually change scripts.

But the director only talked about the shallow, surface level, speaking from a director’s perspective.

Breezy, without much persuasion.

Yet, this strong actor was different.

He spoke from an actor’s perspective, sharing his personal experience.

Lei Fang saw the little girl seemed to have some comprehension and chuckled softly, saying to Chen Zi, ”She’s a perceptive child. Can I bring my other apprentice when I teach her?”

Chen Zi asked, ”Jiang Yue?”

Lei Fang nodded, smiling gently, ”Yes.”

...

In the evening, Little Taotie hid in her room to stream live.

”Fans sisters, fans brothers, fans moms, fans dads, fans grandpas, fans grandmas, fans little brothers and sisters!”

The fans in the live stream room immediately went silent, stopping their comments to attentively listen to Zaizai talk.

Whenever Zaizai seriously called out to everyone like this, it surely meant there was something important to say.

”If one day, I played a really bad character, one so terrible it makes people grind their teeth just seeing them, would you dislike me and unfollow because you hate that character?”

[This...]

[Zaizai, don’t think that way!]

[Why play a bad guy? Zaizai is so cute, you can tell right away she’s a good person, she can’t portray a bad guy!]

[Yeah, you’re so cute and pretty, how could you play a bad guy? It wouldn’t be convincing!]

[Zaizai, don’t go playing a bad guy!]

Little Taotie said sullenly, ”I’ve seen lots of criminal photos.”

[What?]

[Zaizai, why are you looking at criminal photos?]

Little Taotie had seen many photos when going through files in the Special Department.

Including photos of the young person from the young person’s restroom murder case, she had seen them too.

Little Taotie sighed lightly, ”The idea that appearances reflect the heart is a lie. They don’t look like bad people; on the contrary, they look like good people! Think about it, if someone had the face of a bad guy, wouldn’t the victim be wary from the start? How would they even have a chance to commit a crime? It’s often those with faces that appear to be of good people who have more opportunities to commit crimes and succeed.”

[Wow, I feel like I’m seeing Little Sherlock Holmes from the Time-Space Monster Management Bureau online version, with Little Taotie dressed as a little detective!]

[Zaizai analyzes things logically, great job!]

[Zaizai makes so much sense—as those scammers selling health products to grandmas and grandpas all have faces of good people, don’t they?]

[Their recruitment policy is still about having a friendly appearance and proper features.]

[How do you know? The person above, did you secretly go for an interview?]
