The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 794: Chapter 794: No Cutting in Line

The first episode ended, and the audience was silent for a moment before they exploded!

They all went online to blast the director!

[Director, can you act like a human?]

[Director, you are too cruel. Is your heart twisted? Why did you have to kill them?]

[Director, what did the six kids do to you? Couldn’t you let them live a few more episodes?]

[Too tragic, too torturous!]

[Is the female lead an idiot? She knew they were up to no good, yet she sacrificed herself! Did she really think that by sacrificing herself, the ten hitmen would spare the three children? Is her brain okay?]

[To the person above, as long as there was a sliver of hope, the female lead would do anything! She is great!]

[Are you brain-dead? It’s done, I don’t want to watch anymore!]

[Don’t watch if you don’t want to. Why the constant complaints? Even if you complain, the TV show was already filmed and passed censorship to be aired. Do you think it would change because of you? Idiot?]

[Actually, I think that the more torturous the opening is, the less likely it becomes torturous later on, and it might even get sweeter and more exhilarating!]

[Exactly, exactly. You can tell from the person above that they are experienced! Usually, if it’s torturous at the start, it won’t continue like that, and it’s often an unbridled revenge spree all the way! Those that start sweet or with everyone doting on someone, are likely to turn torturous later!]

[Then I’d rather it start with some torment and end up exhilarating and sweet throughout!]

[I hate those shows that bait you with sweetness in the first episode and then just turn it into an endless torment!]

[Smart people watch shows that begin with torture!]

[If it starts sweet, usually all those who dote on her end up dead, supposedly to let her grow or something!]

[Right, right. That’s truly heart-wrenching because, after watching several episodes, you grow attached to the female lead and those who dote on her. Who can handle seeing them die?]

[With shows that start with suffering or everyone dying and the female lead seeking revenge, I don’t find them as upsetting because right from the start we, the audience, don’t know who is who. If they are dead, they are dead. At most, you feel sorry for the female lead, but it doesn’t hurt much.]

[But now, because of “Time-Space Monster Management Bureau,” I’ve grown attached to these six kids, and I’m so sad, I want to cry!]

[If only the Little Taotie’s squad of eight could appear in the main drama.]

[So sad, shiitake mushrooms~~~]

That day, whether it was Goddess Yang’s new drama or “Time-Space Monster Management Bureau” variety show, both were trending hot!

The director of “Time-Space Demon Management Bureau” was almost overwhelmed with phone calls!

Initially, when he suggested collaborations with major films and big-budget TV shows, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. There were always some who were dismissive and scoffed at him.

Now, these people were witnessing the trend of Goddess Yang’s new drama heating up and reversed roles to seek him out. They wanted the director of “Time-Space Monster Management Bureau” to feature them, hoping their new drama could also ride on the popularity of this variety show, a channel that guaranteed fame before broadcast without needing a huge advertising budget—a truly win-win scenario.

Actually, when the director of “Time-Space Monster Management Bureau” previously made phone calls or visited them, he also hinted at the possibility of a win-win situation. But back then, no one was on board except for a few who had good relations with him and collaborated.

[Sorry, the schedule for the next six months is packed,] the director said cheerily to the person on the phone. [Unless your show is released next year. If the program continues next year, we might schedule you then.]

The person on the phone became anxious: [We are releasing at the end of this year. A day late in premiering means a day late in breaking even. Plus, who knows what next year’s situation will be like. What if this genre isn’t allowed to be broadcast anymore and we miss this last opportunity, ending up with a total loss? Please help me jump the queue?]
