The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 621: Chapter 622: Trying to Steal a Chicken but Losing the Rice

Little Taotie: ”...”

She was at a loss for words.

After agonizing for a long time, she asked in a tiny voice, ”I just seem to eat a bit more, a bit stronger, pretty much like Sister Yuanyuan, right?”

Hua Jinyan nodded, ”Just a bit greedier, that’s all.”

Little Taotie puffed up her cheeks, ”I’m not greedy!”

”Alright, alright, you’re not greedy.” Hua Jinyan pulled out a piece of candy, ”Want some?”

Little Taotie looked at the pink candy, licking her lips, ”What flavor is it?”

”Peach flavor.”

”Is it tasty?”

”It’s tasty.”

”Then... let me try?”

Hua Jinyan pinched the candy and fed it to her mouth, she opened her small mouth, revealing a pink cavity, and her little tongue was faintly visible, ”Ah~”

But Hua Jinyan suddenly withdrew his hand, popping the candy into his own mouth, squinting his eyes at her, ”And you said you’re not greedy?”

Little Taotie: ”...”

Little Taotie glared at him with puffed cheeks, ”You’re mean!”

Hua Jinyan took out another piece of candy, coaxing, ”Say you’re greedy, and I’ll give it to you.”

Little Taotie: ”...”

”Want it or not?”

”...I don’t want it!”

Little Taotie ran out of the archive room, darting upstairs, and knocked on Shen Cang’s office door.

Hua Jinyan strolled leisurely upstairs, reached Shen Cang’s open office door, where Little Taotie was inside complaining, ”He’s so mean, he fed it to my mouth and then took it back, he’s bullying me, playing tricks on me! Head Grandpa, I want to bite him! Eat him!” As she spoke, her baby voice trembled, sounding tearful, ”I’m bad too, actually wanting to eat him!”

Shen Cang furrowed his brow, ”How... would you eat him?”

Little Taotie tilted her head and looked at him, her eyes full of accusation, ”Head Grandpa, you’re also bullying me! How else would I eat him, naturally bite off his ears, bit by bit, and eat him!”

Shen Cang: ”...” So fierce!

Just because he didn’t give you a piece of candy, you want to eat him up?

Meeting Shen Cang’s questioning gaze, Little Taotie was extremely aggrieved, her baby voice trembling, ”I don’t know... why it’s like this, just really craving... craving his body...

”Stop!” Shen Cang touched his forehead, ”You can’t say things like that.”

Little Taotie looked at him confusedly, ”Why?”

Shen Cang’s mouth twitched.

He forgot, she’s just a six-year-old child who doesn’t understand the true meaning of ”craving his body.”

Shen Cang cleared his throat and asked, ”Has this happened before?”

Little Taotie shook her small head, ”No.”

Shen Cang looked towards Hua Jinyan, who was standing at the door, and motioned, ”Come in.”

Hua Jinyan walked in, and Little Taotie hurriedly covered her eyes, her baby voice trembling, ”He seems to be glowing, like a glowing chicken leg, so aromatic and tempting!”

Little Taotie covered one eye with one hand and her nose with the other, mumbling, ”No, no, he’s stinky, not aromatic, not tasty, not tasty... mustn’t crave his body!”

Hua Jinyan: ”...”

Shen Cang slightly closed his eyes, hiding a smile.

Barely lifting the corners of his mouth, he asked, ”Did you start finding him appealing after his Rainbow Relic cracked?”

Little Taotie looked blank, ”No... ”

Shen Cang pondered, ”Was it after you woke up from your faint this time that you found him appealing?”

Little Taotie thought for a moment and nodded her small head, ”When there are others around, it’s okay, their scents mix, and he doesn’t smell as good. But when I’m alone with him in a closed space, it feels... he smells so good, like he must taste especially delicious, and I really want to bite him.”

Hua Jinyan and Shen Cang exchanged a look.

Shen Cang calmly asked, ”The thing pressed under the Black Chicken Jade Platform, do you want to eat it?”

Little Taotie cocked her head, ”It’s a little appealing.”

”So you mean, you want to eat it?” Shen Cang’s gaze flickered, as if ripples were spreading on a calm lake.

Little Taotie nodded her head.

Shen Cang’s smile grew wider, suddenly letting out a low chuckle, tinged with a hint of mockery, but the object of the mockery wasn’t the two little beans present, but the Ghost-faced People who planned everything, trying to steal a chicken only to lose the rice.

In the Haunted House, the Ghost-faced People must have already noticed something special about Little Taotie, according to Mo Haihao and Xiangxiang, there would be a big screen showing Little Taotie and Hua Jinyan’s situation at the time.

That meant, there were hidden cameras everywhere in the basement for the Ghost-faced People to observe Little Taotie.

Although Little Taotie was asleep and fuzzy, not quite remembering her display of divine power when she kicked that robot into scrap metal, the Ghost-faced People must have seen it.

Even though Hua Jinyan used his Divine Skills to make the Biological Monster forget that memory, it was too late, the Ghost-faced People already knew all of Little Taotie’s performances.

The Ghost-faced People believed that Little Taotie had Demon Clan blood, and thus made every effort to awaken the already very thin bloodline in Little Taotie, in order to awaken the ferocious creature suppressed under the Black Chicken Jade Platform.

What they didn’t expect, however, was that not only did Little Taotie’s bloodline power awaken the ferocious creature, it also suppressed the evil spirit!

What they couldn’t have foreseen now was that Little Taotie’s bloodline could not only suppress the ferocious creature but also devour it!

Laughable, this was like delivering food to their doorstep!
