The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 592: Chapter 592: Photo of Eating Freeze-dried Strawberries

Little Taotie was awakened by the sunlight streaming in through the window, slowly opening her bleary eyes.

Is it morning already?

Huh? Why am I at home?

She sat up, put on her fuzzy slippers, and went downstairs, where she saw her second brother making coffee.

”Second Brother, when did I come back?”

”Eleven o’clock.”

”Ah? I’m late...” Little Taotie counted on her fingers, ”Is Big Brother angry?”

Qin Xin smiled and teased, ”What do you think?”

Little Taotie felt uneasy and whispered softly, ”He must be angry, won’t he stop me from going...”

Previously, it was agreed that if she broke their arrangement, she would no longer be permitted to go to the Special Department.

Tears welled up in the corners of Little Taotie’s eyes. She looked up, saw Cheng Guodong coming her way, and without a second thought for her slippers, she ran to him barefoot and hugged his legs tightly, ”Big Brother, don’t be mad, please don’t be mad...”

Cheng Guodong: ”...”

He picked up the barefooted little girl, set her down on a chair, and turned to fetch the fluffy slippers she had left behind, squatting down to slip them onto her feet.

”This time is an exception, but don’t let it happen again.”

Relieved, Little Taotie hugged Cheng Guodong’s arm and nuzzled against it, ”Big Brother, you’re the best~”

Qin Xin took a sip of his coffee, ”And what about me? Am I not good to you?”

Little Taotie stole a glance at him and remembered the bitter coffee he had made her drink. She stuck her tongue out and hummed, ”Second Brother, bad~”

Qin Xin: ”...”

Cheng Guodong chuckled deeply.

Little Taotie returned to her room to wash up. Looking at herself in the mirror, she patted her chubby cheeks and giggled, ”Good thing I finished my weekly journal on Friday!”

...

The development of the freeze-dried strawberries was nearing completion; all that was left was the packaging design.

The Calligraphy Teacher, as a participant, also had a vote in the decision.

Cheng Guodong glanced at the packaging proposals, shook his head, and passed them on to others.

Everyone thought they were okay but felt something was missing.

In the end, the shareholders unanimously rejected them.

At that moment, the Calligraphy Teacher’s phone suddenly rang. The caller ID showed a close-up photo of Little Taotie with her eyes wide open, looking into the camera, a freeze-dried strawberry in her mouth. It was a candid shot by the Calligraphy Teacher while she was eating the treat.

The shareholders sitting beside him were instantly electrified.

In unison, they exclaimed, ”This one! Use this picture!”

The Calligraphy Teacher answered the call, and from the other end came Little Taotie’s childish voice, ”Teacher, why aren’t you at school? I want to show you my calligraphy handwriting!”

The Calligraphy Teacher laughed, ”Sounds to me like someone wants a reward.”

Little Taotie giggled, ”But I have made progress!”

The Calligraphy Teacher replied kindly, ”Okay, once I’m finished here, I’ll go to the school. If there’s improvement, our Little Taotie will get a reward!”

Little Taotie cheered, ”Okay, bye Teacher!”

”Bye!”

The Calligraphy Teacher hung up and found everyone’s eager eyes on him, feeling like a lamb surrounded by a pack of wolves.

”What... What are you doing?”

The shareholder to his left grinned, ”Let us see your phone.”

”See... see what?”

The shareholder to his right reached out to grab it, ”No chit-chat, give it here, quick!”

The shareholder seized the phone and even wrestled the Calligraphy Teacher’s thumb onto it to unlock the fingerprint security.

The Calligraphy Teacher thought: ”...” Capitalists are truly terrifying!

The shareholders found Little Taotie’s photo in the gallery, the close-up of her eating the freeze-dried strawberries.

”This picture is perfect. If it’s printed on the packaging, it will sell like crazy!”

The shareholders across the table stood up and crowded behind him, heads together looking at the phone’s display.

”This picture is great!”

”Fantastic, I agree!”

”I agree too!”

”I totally agree, hands and feet both, we must use this picture!”...

Cheng Guodong tapped his fingers rhythmically on the tabletop.

The room fell silent, and everyone’s gaze shifted to Cheng Guodong.

The shareholder pushed the phone towards him, and Cheng Guodong looked down and immediately shook his head, ”No.”

”Why not?”

”Yeah, why not?”

”This photo is a hit, I can’t see anything better than this!”

”Little Taotie is famously the Little God of Wealth, hasn’t every product she’s endorsed sold out?”

”Yes, why not?”

Cheng Guodong stood up, and the room instantly became quiet.

Cheng Guodong propped his hands on the table and looked at everyone, his voice cold, ”I’m my sister’s agent, and I’ve never accepted an endorsement for her that involves printing her face on a bag. People who like her might keep the bags, but what about those who don’t, or just the average passerby? Who keeps a packaging bag? In the end, they would all be thrown into the trash!”

”I won’t allow that to happen. My sister can endorse the product, and this photo can be used in posters, but it will never be printed on the packaging.”

Seeing his determination, no one dared to object.

If they could just get Little Taotie to endorse the product and show everyone this adorable photo, that would be enough!

”So the packaging...” a shareholder asked tentatively, ”What do we do?”

”Redesign it,” Cheng Guodong said as he walked towards the door, ”Meeting adjourned.”

The Calligraphy Teacher tried to follow, but the others encircled him.

”What... what are you all doing?”

The shareholders smiled with ill intent.

”What exactly are you planning?”

”Don’t be nervous; we just want you to share the photo, add us on WeChat, and create a group. If there are more cute photos like this in the future, share them in the group.”
