The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 542: Chapter 542: Little Taotie Has a Big Forgetfulness

After reading his sister’s weekly journal, Cheng Guodong felt his eyes hurt.

Let’s not even talk about this messy scrawl, big and small characters, some smeared and scribbled, and then look at these drawings...

Cheng Guodong thought that tomorrow he should have her sign up for all the hobby classes at school, calligraphy, painting, composition classes, not one less!

Little Taotie in deep sleep had no idea that a huge mountain called ”studying” was about to come crashing down on her!

Cheng Guodong pulled out a chair and sat down, took out an eraser, and began to erase.

—Today is Sunday,

It’s my first day going to work. (Erase!)

Sister Xiangxiang is so pretty and smells so nice. (Erase!)

—The team leader took me to the Haunted House. Inside there were a lot of Ghosts and bats. I can’t remember clearly, I think I was too tired and fell asleep, when I woke up, the team leader was holding me. (Erase!)

—The team leader took me to the Ancient Castle, (Erase!)

It may reveal content related to the Special Department, he erased it all.

Cheng Guodong closed the weekly journal and muttered softly, ”There shouldn’t be anyone so bored as to study a child’s journal, right? Maybe I am overthinking it.”

...

In the early morning, Little Taotie turned over, and her brother’s calling could be heard next to her ear. She covered her ears with her hands and continued to sleep soundly.

Cheng Guodong tapped her between the eyebrows.

Her tender white face crumpled into a bun, her eyelashes trembled, she turned over again, turning her bottom towards her brother. She grabbed a corner of the blanket with her little hand, attempting to cover her head.

Cheng Guodong was both exasperated and amused, and simply picked up the little girl from the bed.

Little Taotie continued to sleep, having no intention to open her eyes.

Suddenly, a wet towel slapped on her face!

Little Taotie jolted awake and began to struggle, ”Mmm mmm mmm”.

Cheng Guodong wiped the little girl’s face with the towel.

With the big man’s rough hands, by the time he finished wiping her face, Little Taotie’s little face had turned red.

Little Taotie glared with large accusatory eyes, the corners of her eyes red, cutely fierce: ”Big brother, bad!”

Cheng Guodong tapped on his watch and let Little Taotie look for herself, with an expression of helplessness, ”You have only fifteen minutes left, or you’ll be late.”

Little Taotie had already learned to read a watch. She looked at the time, and indeed there were only fifteen minutes left!

She frantically started to brush her teeth, mumbling unclearly: ”Going to be late! No, no, being late means being a bad student, I can’t be late!”

The Little Taotie who was clamoring just yesterday that she was too ashamed to face anyone and didn’t want to go to school had already forgotten all about it today.

She quickly put on her uniform, slung her backpack, and ran out, not even having time for breakfast.

Cheng Guodong called out to her, ”Slow down, don’t forget your weekly journal.”

He handed the weekly journal to Little Taotie, who didn’t think much and stretched out her tender little hand to take it and stuffed it into her backpack.

Her mind was troubled: she hadn’t practiced punching today; she would have to do it at school.

”Don’t rush, your big brother was just teasing you. You still have more than half an hour,” Qin Xin leisurely sipped his coffee and revealed with a smile.

Cheng Guodong gave him a sideways glance, turned his head, met Little Taotie’s accusatory eyes, and let out an awkward laugh, ”Half an hour is quite urgent too, what if there’s a traffic jam?”

Little Taotie huffed and turned her back, ignoring him.

”Don’t be mad, I also forgot that my watch is set fifteen minutes fast,” Cheng Guodong tried to explain. ”You know, big brother is usually very busy and sometimes meets important people. I’m afraid being late will make a bad impression, so I deliberately set my watch ahead. So even if the watch says it’s late, I actually have a cushion of fifteen minutes, it’s really not being late, and it won’t be rude.”

Little Taotie looked at him doubtfully and muttered, ”I’ll check the time myself from now on, I won’t look at your watch.”

Hua Jinyan came over with his backpack on and a bag full of things in his hand.

Little Taotie’s gaze was fixed on the bag in his hand, extremely curious.

He stuffed the bag into Little Taotie’s hands, ”Let’s go, off to school.”

”What’s inside?” Little Taotie asked in confusion.

”Snacks.”

”Really?” Little Taotie’s eyes lit up.

”Open it and see for yourself.”

Little Taotie cheered and peeked into a corner of the bag; it was all delicious food!

There was no time for breakfast at home today; she could eat the tasty snacks in the car!
