The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 531: Chapter 531: Can I Have Another Plate?

A person and a wolf had annihilated them all; Little Taotie came back with two bags full of spoils and walked over to Hua Jinyan, stuffing the chocolates from her bag into his pocket.

Hua Jinyan didn’t stop her, since after she finished eating, he could give his to her.

After dividing the chocolates, Little Taotie urged Hua Jinyan, ”Hurry up, put on the ’Shariputra’, I’m a bit tired!”

Little Taotie couldn’t help but yawn.

An inviting meaty fragrance wafted to her nose; she lifted her little head and looked over, instantly wide awake, her big eyes gleaming.

At the stairs, the Seventh Team Captain came down holding a large plate in both hands.

Shen Cang: ”...”

Facing a questioning gaze from above, the Seventh Team Captain awkwardly smiled, ”Boss, Little Taotie has a big appetite.”

Shen Cang’s gaze was heavy, clearly unconvinced.

The Seventh Team Captain quickly explained, ”It’s not for me to eat, I don’t eat any; it’s all for the kids, really!”

Shen Cang withdrew his gaze and frowned at the two children.

Little Taotie had already followed the Seventh Team Captain to a large table, clambered up a tall chair, and sat down obediently.

The Seventh Team Captain halfheartedly asked, ”Hua Jinyan, do you want some?”

Before Hua Jinyan could even open his mouth, the Seventh Team Captain answered for him, ”You’re not hungry? Well then, all for Little Taotie.”

Hua Jinyan: ”...”

The Seventh Team Captain directly placed the large plate in front of Little Taotie.

This was no ordinary plate—big enough to hold a salmon, which is generally about 60 centimeters in length.

The plate was piled high with steaks.

Roughly counting, there were about fifty pieces.

Little Taotie looked up and reconfirmed multiple times, ”Is it really all for me alone to eat?”

The Seventh Team Captain smiled gently, ”Eat, dig in; if it’s not enough, I’ll go fry some more.”

Little Taotie’s mouth curled upwards, she grinned, revealing a set of small white teeth, her dimples deep and her big eyes curving, couldn’t be happier.

Seeing Little Taotie happy made the Seventh Team Captain smile as well.

The big brother had taught Little Taotie to eat steak by cutting it with a knife and fork piece by piece, which looked refined and elegant.

Little Taotie picked up the knife and fork, her moves appearing slow, but her little mouth moved quickly.

She looked poised and proper, but in reality, her eating speed was astonishingly fast—those steaks were disappearing one by one!

Shen Cang couldn’t help but step forward, grabbing Little Taotie’s small hand that was holding the knife, ”Eat less, don’t upset your stomach.”

He was a bit worried that the child didn’t know when to stop and would overeat.

If that happened... it would be ridiculous.

Little Taotie, engrossed in eating, suddenly interrupted, looked over fiercely like a little protective beast.

Shen Cang was taken aback by that fierce little gaze and subconsciously let go.

Once released, Little Taotie continued to eat joyfully.

Shen Cang rubbed his temples, pulled out a chair, and sat down, silently watching her eat.

By the last piece of steak, Little Taotie’s speed had noticeably slowed down, getting slower and slower...

Shen Cang thought she was full and said, ”If you can’t eat anymore, just leave it, don’t force yourself.”

Little Taotie looked up with her sparkly big eyes, softly asked, ”Can I... eat another plate?”

Not another piece, but another plate! The usually unflappable Shen Cang’s face contorted, his mouth slightly agape in surprise, ”You... want the same large plate again?”

Seeing his surprised expression, Little Taotie’s voice grew even softer, meekly asking, ”Can’t I? Then, how about half a plate, or if not, then twenty pieces of meat, no, ten is also okay...” Her milky voice carried a bit of timidity, fearful of being rejected, her eyes hopeful as she looked at him.
