Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2370: Parting Gift

Sam along with the rest of the participants reappeared in the middle of the open-air auditorium. They are surrounded by hundreds of students from various academies. All of them are spectators for the match and they didnʼt think the participants would be appearing here. Sam and Rashma are the only ones who had good enough landing. The rest of them just crashed into the ground. They are mostly bruised and exhausted from all the fighting. However, their senses are sharp enough to pick the changes in the surrounding energy.Several energies that are way too powerful for them to even fathom raged at different spots. But mostly from the box where all the key spectators including the Deans of the Norse academies are currently at. The deans, elders and the grand elders all were about to make a move. Their energies zeroed in on to Sam and other participants. Sam who was standing crashed into the ground, the pressure broke his bones and damaged at least half a dozen of his organs. He spat out blood. The same scenario repeated with the rest of the candidates. All of them felt like their lives already left their bodies. With a lot of effort, Sam barely managed to raise his head and look in the direction of the box. It seems like the Deans didnʼt make a move physically. They are coming at him with just the pressure of their energy.Which is actually enough to kill him. However, there is not a hint of fear in his eyes.Sure, his body is trembling, his instincts are screaming, cautioning about his death, but his eyes are not. He forced a grin, that pissed these bigshots off. When they are about to finish the job.”Enough, hot heads.”A voice almost akin to the whisper of the wind reverberated all over the academy. The deans and grand elders who were just showing off their powers, trying to crush Sam and other participants like ants, trembled in thier spots. their concentration broke down, making the pressure disappear.Chorus stood up from his seat and said. ”None of you have a right to make a move. The competition guidelines strictly state that taking revenge for what happened in the competition is a violation of our academy realmʼs rules. So, donʼt push your luck and stay put.””*SNEER*”Chorus heard the sneer from within the crowd and he made his move. The grand elder of the Heimdall academy, the mother of Yagrit made her move. Chorus interrupted her dagger with his palm as both his and her figured appeared in front of Sam.Just the aftershock of the crash sent him flying. He crashed into the ground, barely able to raise his head. Heimdall academyʼs Dean took the chance to attack him.*BANG*The sword aimed at Samʼs throat, everyone thought he was done for. But at the last moment, *BAM*With a blinding clash of lightning the sword was stopped in its path. By a hammer covered with blue lightning.”Get out of my way Olaf. I need to kill this guy.””And what? Bring the wrath of gods on to the Norse academies? That kid leaves this realm, safe and sound. That is my responsibility as the organizer of this competition. No one is going to die tonight, except for the ones that are actually trying to kill. So, you, your wife and everyone else affiliated with your academy, get out of here before I make you.”Dean of Heimdall academy looked past Olaf and his gaze landed at Sam. That crooked grin on his face made the Deanʼs killing intent rage. However, he knew better than to fight it out with Olaf at the moment. So, hesitation creeped in. ”You fucking coward. Thatʼs my son. How do you even think...” His wifeʼs screams came from the back and this made his heart tighten a bit. But those screams halted in the middle.*PAK*Chorusʼ slap made her faint on the spot. ”You are quite a handful. I wonder how his husband is enduring you. ”Everyone looked like dumb idiots at his leisurely pace of handling the situation. He not only halted her surprise attack, he made her faint with a slap. While Chorus is an elder, that woman is a Grand elder. Apart from the decades or even centuries of difference in their experience, she is also perceived as the stronger part among the two. But the way he dealt with her...It reminded them of the reality check the Gambler academy gave them a few days ago. When Ling Tian gave a piece of his mind to Theron and their defenses collectively sent all the other academies from two regions packing. Now, their elder casually shut down a grand elder of Heimdall academy. He turned to Olaf and said. ”Thanks for doing your job. Now, if you can also tell those students to stop eyeballing the Gambler academy students, it would be great. That girl named Dove, contrary to her name, she is no creature of peace. I saw her banging the head of an instructor into a black stone slab, just because he looked at her in the wrong way.I canʼt promise that she wonʼt eye gouge them if they keep this up.”Olaf turned around and looked at the students. His cold glance made them unable to meet his gaze.Chorus turned to Sam and asked. ”You can take care of yourself?” Sam barely raised his hand and gave him a thumbs up. With the energy he had barely had, the wine gourd flew out of his storage and poured down into his mouth. At the same time, an injection came out of the storage with a special healing energy liquid capsule in it. He injected it into himself. The recovery sped up rapidly as huge amounts of energy waves came out of him.Just when he was about to stand up, Chorus who stood far away from appeared right next to him. His palm is covered with dense energy as he slammed it down. Everyone was shocked. They thought Chorus has gone crazy in just seconds and is now attacking Sam. It is almost like he stopped others to take him out himself. However, the palm went past him and is slammed against the ground. Cracking it open. His hand went through and he pulled out a human out of it. He swung that man over his shoulder and slammed him into the ground as if he is swinging a ragdoll. Sam didnʼt even flinch, he just had a smile on his face as he looked at the man and then at the grand elder of the Heimdall academy. The man that came out of the ground is a lot younger compared Dean or the grand elder. At least by a few decades. But he is just as strong. He is wearing the elder uniform of the Helʼs academy. And he has reputation. As being a handsome genius. So handsome that the moment he was slammed on the ground, a bunch of women in the crowd felt a prick in their hearts.Chorus pressed him down and said with a smile. ”I have been eyeing your movements since the start. How stupid of you to make a move now? Considering your situation too....”Chorus shook his head like he is disappointed of this guyʼs move.Olaf sighed and said. ”Everything is over here. We are going to finish the ceremony of the inter academy tournament. And before that, I declare the gambler academy as the winner of the team combat.”Before the crowd could explode in uproar, he shut them off. The ceremony went pretty normally, except for the savage looks Sam and the rest of the gambler team has been getting. Sam in particular, apart from being the guy who killed so many people in the team combat, he has been the star of the show as well. He nailed the weapon making, formation and inscription competitions. His high ranking in the solo combat and team combat are not small either. He is the biggest winner of the tournament. And because of him Gambler academy turned into the biggest winner in the second grade level. The others didnʼt do so bad either. So, their ranking will definitely raise. When Sam was on the stage to take the prize for the team combat competition, he smiled and said. ”I have a gift for everyone here.”Olaf tensed up and said. ”You have done enough Sam. Please donʼt increase the tensions than you already have.””Well, I am here not on my volition. So, the ones that caused my presence here must be held responsible for it.””I realize that the Gods are not as perceptive and omniscient as I believed them to be. Otherwise, you would not have been cast up on us like this.””You got that part right.”As Sam said that, he took out a cube and threw it into the air. *FLASH*Several images flashed, imprinting various pieces of information into the eyes of everyone present
